Chapter 72: Fishing Murder 2

Seiya bought some fishing equipment and fish food like worms, insects before driving to the Seaside near Osaka. Miyano Akemi asked randomly.

"Do you think that we will catch a fish?"

"Well, I know that I will~ but you...Maybe~"

"Why?"

"Because for me it's easy to fish."

"Pfft, we shall see...."

Miyano Akemi rolled her eyes with his answer as her feeling of competition seems to be ignited. When they arrived at the spot, Seiya saw a few fishermen and women sitting in their mobile chairs while trying to fish. Seiya said while carrying their fishing gears while Miyano Akemi carried two icebox.

"Do you want to have a competition on who acquires more fish?"

"Hmmn, sure why not? what is the reward for the winner?"

"Hmmn.....the reward for the winner is that he or she gets to taste the loser's cooking with the fish we acquired?"

"Why does that sounds a bit risky yet tempting?" -Akemi

Seiya doesn't know what Miyano Akemi wants for a reward so he just made a simple reward, beside his cooking is at least at a professional level. Miyano Akemi thought for a second before nodding as she said.

"Sure, I just hope your cooking is delicious..."

"Hoho, you already think that your winning~ please, you might be the chef for tonight~ *chuckle*"

Seiya was amused with Miyano Akemi's winning statement, he decided to go full serious mode on this fishing as he set up their chair close to where he saw the fishes moving around, his eyes could see through the water which is a cheat but also a skill for him to win. Miyano Akemi sat on her chair as she begin selecting the fish food and the hook while Seiya was looking at the water as he tried to select the best fish from the pack that seem to be watching them. Seiya was astonish as he thinks he just saw a fish mocking him as it tried to move around in circles. Miyano Akemi asked as she handed him his fishing rod.

"What are you looking at?"

"I was wondering if the fishes in this side are mocking us."

"Huh?"

Miyano Akemi also looks at the water and saw a fish near the water surface as it swims around in a 8 symbol. She nodded as she said.

"I think this fish has experience, it will be hard to catch...."

"I see...."

Seiya began selecting his bait and hook as he arrange a set, meanwhile Miyano Akemi has already thrown away her hook which landed a bit farther. She said while smiling.

"Watch and Learn~"

Seiya nodded as he also thrown his hook from the left side, since it is where the fish army was frequently moving around. Miyano Akemi seem to see a ripple which made her immediately rotating the reel as the hook was pulled over. the fish under the water seem to see the bait running which made it follow as it tried to bite the bait. Seiya was also getting a fish attracted to his bait as he rise the fishing rod up to pull the hook slightly, it was a coincidence that both bait was bitten at the same time as Miyano Akemi begin rotating the reel faster as the fish try to pull away. Seiya didn't do that method as he held the reel tightly with his left hand as used his right hand to manually pull the string which made the hook that caught the fish jump outside the water.

He can do this method because he has super strength as the fish that was still stuck on the hook was pulled over like a kite going down. It only took a moment before Seiya held the fish in his hand as he said with a smile.

"I got the first one~"

"Tsk"

Miyano Akemi felt displeased as she caught the fish a second later than him, they began round 2 as they pick their 2nd set of bait. It wasn't until Seiya suddenly heard a little girl's voice calling his name which made him put down the fishing rod and let the fish escape.

"Big brother Seiya!"

"Oh? Ayumi-chan, what are you doing here?"

That's right! Ayumi Yoshida has entered the scene as she rush forward and hugs Seiya's thigh, Professor Agasa led the kids close to them as Mitsuhiko and Genta carried the fishing rods while Conan held the storage boxes. Ayumi Yoshida introduced Professor Agasa to Seiya which made Seiya shake hands with him as he said.

"I have heard great rumors about your invention, Professor."

"Ah, am I that famous?"

"Yes, I have seen some of your inventions used by some people I know."

Professor Agasa would sell some of his invention to famous companies such as the Suzuki Financial Group, so he is relatively famous in the business and technology societies. Edogawa Conan on the other hand seem to stare at Miyano Akemi who was focus on fishing, he had a hunch this woman was not simple as she looks. He acted like a child as he asked Seiya.

"Big brother, is this your girlfriend?"

"She is my drinking buddy~"

Seiya pat Miyano Akemi on the shoulder as he introduced her to the kids, Miyano Akemi stops fishing as she gently smiled while speaking.

"Hello, children. My name is Hirota Masami."

"Beauty...."

Mitsuhiko and Genta muttered which was heard by Akemi, she chuckles as she glanced at Conan for a split second before moving onto Ayumi as she asked.

"Are you guys also planning to fish here?"

"Yeah! Professor Agasa said that this week is the best time for fishing season."

Ayumi spoke while climbing up as she sat on Seiya's lap, she seem to have mark her area as she held Seiya's arm tightly while looking at water. She asked.

"Big brother, can you teach me how to fish?"

"Sure, what does Ayumi want to catch?"

"Big brother.....A trout!"

Ayumi muttered the first part as she shouted the last one, Seiya's eyebrow twitches as he said while throwing the hook towards the nearest trout.

"Okay, Big brother has a feeling that this time we can catch a white trout!"

"I believe big brother!"

Miyano Akemi felt amused in seeing this event, she couldn't help but feel envy as she remembered that she hadn't spend such quality time with her sister for a long time. Because the organization only lets them meet once or twice a month after that incident, so at most they could only meet at a cafe or sometimes lunch or dinner with a little time for shopping. Miyano Shiho who was using a Microscope suddenly sneezes as she muttered while removing the glass slide from the vision.

"Who is talking about me?"
