They planned to make a peaceful appointment with the Python's and discuss the matter, but their leader seemed to be very hard to convince as he was hell bound on ripping Steve into pieces. Finally after a lot of ups and downs the meeting was arranged.

The location that Python had given was a very deserted one, it seemed as if he really wanted to end Steve's chapter.

When Steve reached the location it was just an open ground , far away from the city.

'So he really did make all the preparations of killing me without leaving a trace. '

The lifeless land was crowded by the men of Python, fully prepared Steve didn't come with much security as he thought of it as a meeting.

Pythias stood all high and mighty amongst his subordinates, he thankfully wore a shirt and had covered himself properly. When he glanced at Steve's approaching image he turned towards him.

"Mr.Steve Ford, you finally decided to show up?"

He spoke with a very mean voice but suddenly his facial expressions changed when he saw the bandage on Steve's forehead.

"Who dared to touch you? You are mine—"

' Mine? Is he in the right state of his mind?'

Steve's brain suddenly wandered off into another dimension when he heard his sentence.

"—to kill,"

"Sigh— You nearly caused me a heart attack," Steve signed in relief.

Because Stella had been reading too much of possessive romantic novels, the sentence was very common phrase that was uttered by almost every Male lead.

"If I told you you would be very proud " Steve replied.

Steve continued, "It was your lovely daughter she threw a vase at me when we first met,"

In a blink of an eye, Pythias face changed into a satisfied one.

"That's great news, Even my daughter knows how to deal with a scoundrel like you,"

He continued with the mockery

"Just stop the idle talk I want to talk about something serious" Steve was restless as he wanted to get out of this situation quickly.

"Are you going to strike another deal with me?" With a disinterested voice he replied

"It is related to your daughter's safety"

"You are not gonna fool me again with that trick of yours" (Python)

"She was attacked,"

Steve avoided any additional talks and got straight to the point,

"She was attacked by someone," Steve said with a serious voice that caused Pythias's face to stiffen a little.

"Why should I believe you, you already tricked me once " (Python)

"I don't use the same truck twice it's boring," ( Steve)

"I know you want me dead and takeover whatever I own, but what you don't know is you are fighting the wrong person. I am not your enemy we have nothing to fight over."

"Believe me if you keep on regarding me as your enemy you will lose something precious to you, and you know who I am talking about" (Steve)

Pythias's looked at Steve with an ugly expression, it looked like he wanted to punch the life out of him.

"You dare threaten me with my daughter"(Python)

"I am not, I am just telling you that someone else is after your family and that's not me"(Steve)

"And why—"

"Father he is telling the truth!"

Sera came out of Steve's car which shocked Python, but what was more shocking was that she was siding with him too.

"Sera? Sera why are you here and what are you talking about?"

Pythias's expressions were completely opposite to the ones he had when he was talking to Steve. His eyes had warmth and his face had a invisible smile.

Pythias was a little confused too.

"First send the men away, I don't trust them" Sera said with a fierce expression

"Leave" he said to his men and also glared at Steve .

"Not him just your men," Sera made herself clear.

"Slowly everyone retreated and the only ones left were the three of them.

"Now tell me how did he threaten you, just tell your father I will deal with this brat for you" he said. while looking at Steve with hatred.

"I was attacked and if not for Ford's I would be dead by now."

"And why should I believe that it was not his doings" (Python)

"Right now I don't have a proof of my innocence, but trust me I mean her no harm"(Steve)

"Why?"He meant that why did i mean her no harm and why should he trust me

"The one that is after your family will come after me when he is done with you, and I don't want that to happen, you and I know each other's weaknesses so let's not fight. Let's join forces and have each other's back , after we are done with our mutual enemy we can fight as much as we can, so now do we have a deal?"

Pythias stared at Steve with meaningful gaze and the. He looked at Sera who gave him a nod.

"You are a smart kid but I have my eyes on you"(Python)

"Same goes for me"(Steve)

Both of them shook hands in a very awkward manner, Pythias's face looked a bit awkward when he touched Steve's hands, he glanced at Steve one last time before loosening the grip around his hand.

"Finally the war between both of you has ended, I am so happy" Sera she jumped in joy and hugged her father

"So now I will take my leave, I am looking forward to our collaboration" Steve went away leaving the lovely family alone.
