(Levar Point of View)

I am a 24-year-old trans man. I work as a bartender at a strip club. The women are nice to look at but most aren't really my type. Sometimes when I see they didn't make as much as normal, I will give them like a 20 for just doing a good job, even though I know most don't need it. I see a lot of weird people in the day and I hear a lot of messed up stories, many are about doing illegal things but it's not like I will ever tell. After all, that is bad for business, they get a lot of drinks so I will keep my mouth shut for the extra paycheck. Plus, if I tattle on one, I will no longer be able to hear these stories and they are the best part of the job. I will also probably lose my job if they see that business isn't doing well anymore. So putting that into perspective, that is a really good deal, keep my mouth shut and I keep a good job. I get paid $15.75 hourly and then I get an extra 20 per 500 drinks. Although there are normally five or six bartenders per shift, we are still so busy serving 500 drinks is normally easy as I work the night shift where sketchy people come in and in groups so I get paid well. I normally work from 10 pm to 6 am; 8 pm to 5 am; or 8 pm to 10 am. I don't get paid any overtime, just hourly and commission but I'm not complaining, it's still a good job.

Out of the 6 years I have been working here, I haven't seen any women that are really my type that I know I could go for until tonight. Most of the women I see are with men or flirting with other men and sometimes women. I don't have the confidence to really flirt with women so that made tonight even weirder.

I head into work as I normally do. I have my hair slicked back with a bit of gel in it to get it to stay but I can still move my hair. I am wearing quite a formal outfit that shows some skin as for the company uniform. It's not super busy, just 50 ish people but it is around the time that the more normal people start heading out and the criminals start heading in but today should be slow as well. Plus, I saw two groups of people with a big crowd of about 200 ish people outside. There are only four bartenders so when one of the bartenders sees me he finishes up what he is doing, which surprises me as then there will still only be four. As he heads out he passes me.

"Heads up, there are a few regulars here that are having a forget everything kind of night with a few others having something they want to forget but knowing you, you will find out what soon. Some of the people outside are actually ordering drinks. I am going to head out as I have been here for 16 hours."

"Thanks for the heads up. I should see you tomorrow. Get some rest. Make sure you get some sleep."

"I will."

That bartender leaves and I get behind the bar. There are already like 50 orders so I start making those as the other bartender tells me what is going on with the fight outside and why there are less bartenders than normal. Turns out that about half of the staff got sick with something. The strippers all seem to be here that are normally here on a Monday but they also work separate from that waitress, waiters, host, hostess, and the bartenders, endless they are getting a drink or something similar to that, so they are probably going to be good from the sickness.

My shift is so far normal. I listen to people's drunken confessions as I make their drinks and sometimes, when asked, I tell them what I would do in their shoes. After a few hours, the fight that was outside was over, about half of the people didn't come back in. Some of the people from when I started my shift have closed out, others I had to cut off. The bar is a little slow today compared to normal but when a muscular, pissed off looking woman comes in, people start paying and leaving. Some seem scared but others seem ready for something to go down. The woman sits down at my bar and I walk up to her to take her order. Being this close to her made me see that she is my type. She is muscular, has shoulder length brown hair, green eyes, she has a few tattoos with some scars on her arms, she looks like she could crush my face between her thighs, and then call me her good boy.

"Hello ma'am. Is there anything I can do for you?" I can feel my face become a little red as I speak. I try to keep my composure as I speak to her.

"Whiskey on the rock, sweetheart." She winks at me as she speaks. Her voice sounds really hot, especially when she says sweetheart.

"What kind of whiskey?" My face is becoming more red but I hope it isn't obvious.

"Rye, sweetheart."

I feel my face become more red as I go make her drink. I take a second to calm down before handing her her drink.

"Anything else I can do for you ma'am?"

"Your name?"

"I am Levar. What is your name ma'am?"

"My name is Asaka but I like how you call me ma'am."

My face becomes more red and somewhere I get the confidence to say something out of character for me. "I can keep calling you ma'am, ma'am."

"That's cute." Asaka mumbles to herself.

I head back to serving other customers. As I work, I see that Asaka is on her phone doing something as she drinks her whiskey and I think she took a picture of me but it was hard to tell as I am more focused on my work and trying not to stare at her.

Asaka gets two more whiskeys on the rock. When she closes out her tab, she leaves a tip which isn't normal. Asaka just seemed to be tipsy so that tells me she has a good alcohol tolerance. Endless it is a keep the change kind of moment. I did keep the tip as she was already gone. Right when she left the normal amount of people came back in. It makes me wonder if she is someone big in the criminal world. The rest of my shift was relevantly normal.
