Chapter 7 - Roxy Migurdia

I simply utter simple words to describe the woman before me. She was truly beautiful, especially her unique Blue hair that contrasted to her mature temperament. Everyone was taken aback by my words with Roxy blushing at my words since she rarely got praises. Though, she quickly recompose herself since I was still a young boy and can see in her eyes what she was thinking.

"Huhuhuhu, that's my son as expected of my genes he inherited my gentlemaness!"

Well father just dug his own grave. Though, I can deny his words since I'm someone who wants to live my life as I want it and would find a woman that would be by my side forever. However, I won't force them if they decided it wasn't for them to share their man.

I should put aside and focus on trying to impress her as much as I can to leave a mark in her heart. It would be ideal for me to create a method that could allow me to teleport by revising the summoning method then replicate the Flying Raijin as a way to teleport.

Though perhaps I should create tracking methods first that could help me find my family when the teleportation happened. Of course, I'll try my best to reduce the problem for my family to avoid the political attack.

"THATS A BAD TRAIT FOR HIM TO HAVE PAUL!!! Of all the good things he might have, he got the worst personality you have!"

"What did you say!!"

They started bickering at each other again for several minutes until Lilia interrupted them.

"Master, Madame, it might be best to get her to the guest room."

"Ah yes yes... Come here Roxy-san, we will get you to your room."

They walked away and Paul and Rudeus started walking to me. I was trying to ignore them knowing their remarks would be.

" Hehehe so my daughter in law has arrived huh. Rein makes your old man proud!! Just make sure to use protection when you do it so we will not become grandparents early."

Paul jokingly said that I only gave him a deadpanned glance since I'm a 3 year old for crying out loud. Though, mentally I'm 53 but still it's horrible to teach something like this.

"Huhuhu ni-chan is a pervert."

"Really? Aren't you mistaking me for a mirror, Rudy?"

"What do you mean, Nii-san!?"

"Aunt Lilia told me when you're still little you always have a perverted face when you are near her boobs!!"

I decided to tease him a bit as the two of us bicker before laughing at our argument. My father was looking at us with a nod before smirking and leaning closer.

"Well if you boys need advice your old man will teach you some techniques exclusively on how to bring girls to your bed in addition to swordsmanship."

He gave a perverted smile that quickly contorted after he felt killing intent. He was an experienced Rank S adventurer so he has something like a 6th sense. He turned around and saw an angry Zenith.

"Hey Zenith"

"DON'T HEY ME!!! Just what are you teaching these boys!! If you continue your jokes I will not let you teach them swordsmanship and just hire a tutor!!"

They argue while me and Rudy headed inside giving a small prayer for my father who would face our mothers rant. Though, it's his own fault for trying to corrupt us in his perversion. We went to our dining table waiting for our new tutor Roxy who was helping move into her new room. She would be teaching us for at least 2 years until we reach the age of 5.

When our parents were done arguing sat next to us while Roxy and Lilia returned to discuss who she'll be teaching. She looked at me curiously then to Rudeus wondering which one of us she was going to teach. Though, I can see in her eyes that she is uncertain if we actually understand the fundamentals of magic since we are only 3 years old even the most talented child would start at 7 or even 10.

"Anyway, which one's the student I'm supposed to teach?

"Ah it's both of them."

I heard my mother with a hint of pride tone a doting mother while Roxy's face seemed a bit annoyed since there were some parents that would do that to their children thinking they were some prodigy. I understand her point of view since we aren't exactly the norms.

" *sigh*. I guess it happens from time to time, huh, that there are idiot parents who think their child has talent after growing slightly…"

She muttered under her breath which I was able to pick up since our parents were busy praising us. Even what kind of expression she has, Roxy was beautiful in my eyes that I am not able to leave my eyes on her. It sounded creepy but I couldn't help it.

What would you do if the person you've grown to like in text suddenly appears before you? Wouldn't being dazed be your first reaction followed by disbelief?

Though, they probably think it's just a childhood crush which I can't deny since I still had not spent enough time to consider it being in love. I'll make an impression on her and wait until we meet again, by which time I'll be at the God rank.

"What is it?"

"It's nothing. However, I think those children of yours hadn't understood the concept of magic."

" It's fine. Our Rudy and Rein is very talented"

I can see her sigh in defeat looking at me intently trying to judge if I'm qualified to learn magic in my age. I merely gave a cute smile that seemed to convince her to at least try since she was already here and had signed a contract.

"*sigh*I understand. I'll try my best."

After a while, our parents left us to train In our backyard since Rudeus still wasn't ready to head outside like me.  Roxy started to test us how much magic we can use. When I spent most of time creating my Mana core I found that I was highly sensitive to the flow of Mana and can see that Roxy clearly showcases her qualification as a Saint Rank Mage.

The Mana around her body was constantly flowing through her body and didn't have a central place to properly draw out Mana but still showed how much her body is capable of inputting and outputting. I'm more interested in how powerful a Saint Rank Mage is if they had a Mana core to act as a staff and draw more Mana in their surroundings.

"Your mom told me she has taught you the fundamentals of magic, is that right?"

She started, though inwardly changing the curriculum she had planned before arriving and witnessing her new apprentice's prodigious talent.

"Yes! There are three broad types of magic: Attacking, Healing and Summoning. Each is divided into seven ranks: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, Saint, King, Emperor and finally God!"

Rudeus answered enthusiastically. I chuckled seeing his excitement while I tried my best to remain calm since it is still a habit of mine to remain indifferent.

"Right, me and Rudeus only were able to only cast an intermediate spell since it is the only thing that was written in the book that mother had."

I haven't dabbled much in performing magic spells since I concentrate more on body and the mana capacity along with control before I head to higher types of magic. It was crucial to learn the basics before advancing since people often forget basic steps. People would always rush and eager to do a flasher magic spell rather than improving their control over the beginner magic spells. The blue haired girl raised his eyebrow upon hearing that we were able to cast intermediate.

"Intermediate spell? Are you two certain that you are able to do that?"

"Of course, Roxy-sensei! Rudy, let's show sensei what we can do!

"Right back at you, Nii-san!"

The two of us jumped down our seats and stood reaching out our hands while Roxy curiously watched us to see if we were lying or not.

We gathered the mana circulating beneath our skin to move and gather at our palm, while mentally visualizing the spell we wanted to cast. I let my mana gather, visualize the spell, determine size and quantity of mana required to fuel the spell, and control my mana to replicate the spell with just my thoughts.

Soon, aliquid orb formed in mid-air, perhaps with ten times the volume of a typical water ball, near our palm. The next moment, the large concentration of water, denser than it appeared, was launched into the air with frightening speed and leaving a faint shockwave that blew up the magic tutor's short skirt.

From the corner of my eye I could see the teenage tutor's face change from skepticism to disbelief. Her expression of shock deformed her pretty face into a rather ugly one.

The water cannonball continued its flight up into the sky, although it could not keep up its velocity and height indefinitely. Eventually, the water cannon dispersed into hundreds of thousands of water droplets that rained back down, causing the farmers and villagers below to wonder if it was starting to rain.

"Was that okay?"

I asked the magic tutor, trying to keep my expression neutral. Though to be honest her face was rather funny.

"Nii-San, I think we broke her."

"T-that's...! Without incantations? How did you two cast the magic spell without any incantation or even magic circle!?"

She was bewildered since her common sense was broken seeing two children capable of using magic without uttering a single word. I can see she starting to question if her methods of learning were correct since she didn't get Water Saint Rank without taking years of training. Her age when she cast intermediate magic was older than us and we did without a chant.

"I guess you two are worth teaching and I know your mother has an apology."

"It's alright, Roxy-sensei. Mama always said we were different from other children and isn't your fault for being skeptical."

"...are you really 3?"

"Yes, Sensei? Papa and mama always say the same thing when I speak."

I acted innocent to hide the fact I'm an old man in a toddlers body and thankfully Roxy didn't ask further. Her expression now was eager to teach us and see us grow.

"Alright, let's continue our lesson for now. You two already understand the basics of Mana and the casting of magic spells. I believe Reinhard mentioned only casting Intermediate rank magic spells?"

"Yes, Sensei. We don't know how to cast advanced and further because our book only tackles intermediate spells."

"Sensei are you going to teach us, Advance magic spell!?"

Roxy looked back at her student and started while brandishing her staff. I was curious what an advanced rank magic spell would look like and see how many times stronger it is in an intermediate rank. This way I can guess the scale when reaching a king or even an emperor rank.

"I only recently graduated from Ranoa Magic Academy. But I have reached Saint rank in Water magic, and Advanced rank in Fire, Wind and Earth magic for attacking spells; as well as Advanced rank in Healing magic. What I will demonstrate for you today will be an Advanced rank Fire spell. Watch closely."

Facing away from Rudeus, Roxy exhaled deeply, wondering why she was so nervous demonstrating a mere Advanced-rank spell in front of a five year old. Putting that thought to the back of her mind, she began her incantation.

"Fire, thou rage and burn. Focus thine fury and smite thy enemy. Let naught stand in thine way and pierce through the darkness. Scorching Ray!"

A bright light emerged from the tip of Roxy's staff, and without warning, what could only be described as a fiery laser shot out and flew towards the sky. It climbed high up before the circular column of fire dissipated from the lack of additional mana sustaining to sustain its shape. I was amazed how powerful it was and just guessed that it was a concentrated fire beam and could prove useful.

"You're amazing, Sensei!"

"Yeah, teach us Sensei!"

"Alright, but we should start with safer spells since what I've shown you takes a lot of caution because if one makes a single mistake then it would be dire for both the caster and the people around them, Understand?"

""Hai, Sensei!""

Roxy smiled hearing our mature response since she couldn't believe that not only one but two prodigies would be teachers. I can't blame her excitement but worry if she would start having inferiority around us which I wish not. Regardless, this is the start for our journey into becoming the strongest.
