Chapter 1 - Prologue

I was wondering in my life if things had any meaning. For the longest time, ever since I was born everything seemed to end in tragedy. My name is Reinhard or Rein and this name has been given to me as nothing more than a label. It serves as a reminder that I am not a normal person and only had one purpose in life which is to take another life. I'm an orphan who had been raised by an assassin organization to be a deadly weapon whose goal is to kill any corrupt politician and people who have grown too powerful to be controlled. They had made us into ruthless killers with an unfeeling emotion, nothing more than a tool. 

My hands had been soaked with both innocence and guilt that it made my emotion numb. Though, we were made into a killer machine did not mean our hearts are completely emotionless. It may sound strange however that one of my missions I fell in love with Japanese culture especially their animated show or Anime for short. 

Many of the stories truly drew me into their world where I felt alive and out of place in this world of peace. I felt my expertise could be used in another place and the world of fiction was some of them. This may sound strange to many yet I want to be reborn to a world where I can start a new and a family worth protecting. 

My ambition is simply to live at peace instead enjoy the feeling of being free with those I love. If my wish comes true then I will do my best to protect them even at the cause of returning to my root as an assassin. 

'How many that after 50 years of serving them this is how they repay me?'

The husky voice escaped my lips as the taste of blood stream down from my cheek. My right eye had been blinded, sliced by a knife from the guy over there and there. I had left my assasin life and wanted to retire yet they managed to find me. 

My left arm was completely broken only attached by small fiber that remained while the bullet hole bleed out. I counted at least 80 bodies around, not including those that died in my traps. Heh. Traps.

It was agonizing as every time I took a breath having stabbed through my age lungs. I am amazed that even death might be afraid to take me. 

'I felt like I was narrating my whole life huh…'

I tried to move my arms reaching into my pocket, finding a cigarette and lighter as I took it into my lips and lit it using my remaining arm. It wasn't ideal to smoke while your lungs were destroyed but I'm already dying and thought why not. 

Like hell it gets any worse when my senses are already starting to grow numb and my vision begins to become blurry. I have never been a religious man but if there's a god then I'm prepared to accept any punishment he will give me for the sins I've done.  

Cursing an almighty being for my misfortune would just be petty and a waste of my time. I always focus on getting things done rather than complaining and wait for a miracle. 

'It's been fun while it lasted…'

The last thing I thought while everything seemed to fade into a black like the end of movie as my hand holding the cigarettes fell into the ground. When I was waiting for my eternal punishment I found myself in a room of pure white and was baffled with confusion until I turn behind me to find an elderly man with white hair and completely white clothes was sitting down with a table in front of him.

"My son, take a seat."

" Are you a god? This is kind of like those Isekai stories that I've read before."

"Hahaha, and as expected of you to be this calm in such a situation. Yes, exactly what you think is happening now."

'So this old man is really a god, and now he will offer to fulfill my desires and choose a world for reincarnation. Oh who am I kidding, I'm a sinner and should be punished…'

"It really is that young man. And no, you are far from a sinner."

"So you can read my mind, huh. What do you mean I'm far from sinner, I've killed many innocent people and affected those people around them?"

"I know everything and the end. The things you have done did not have any intent for their suffering and most of the people you've killed are the true sinners. You have never killed a child before in your life. One of them you've saved from misfortune and grown into a respectable man that led the world to prosperity."

The old man smiled at me sweetly like a proud father to his child even though I never knew the feeling of having one. It felt strange yet pleasant one. 

"I guess that's good to hear but that isn't enough for me to have the opportunity to meet you like this. There might be people more deserving than me."

"Those people more deserving than you are in a place called Eden. It is where everything that wishes to leave in eternal peace. This is akin to a third option that is neither good nor bad. To simplify, this is similar to fanfic wish fulfillment for you but won't be God and only limited to 5 wishes."

I was a bit surprised to be offered 5 wishes expecting to be punished for all the crimes I've done. I can't lie that I'm excited and eager to see how my second life would turn out. 

"Before anything else, I want to ask some questions, can I?"

God: "Of course I'm listening to you, my son."

"I want to know if fictional worlds exist, such as manga, anime, computer games, etc."

 "Yes, they really exist, while at least one person in your former world reads some book, a new world is born. This means that there are a huge number of those same worlds. You know that even in a fictional world like High school DxD, somebody will write a story and people will read it, it will also create a world. It is for this reason that so much entertainment literature, computer games and films are shown in different anime worlds. The will of the world controls this. The exception is your homeland. This planet appeared long before the gods appeared, and no one knows who created it. Among the higher beings, your home planet is called Terra Mundo, the cradle of mankind. "

"Incredible, this is really amazing. I want to know if after rebirth it is possible to travel to other worlds? And how will the soul and body react when moving to another world?"

"You can go to another world if you understand the laws of space, or if you spend on this wish. But you can travel only when you reach peak strength for the world you are in, or if you can complete certain tasks. The body adjusts to the soul. The stronger the soul, the stronger the body. If you go to the world of Naruto, and after it you go to the world where there is no chakra, you will have to use your personal energy reserves and you will not be able to restore it. If in each new world you will start the way to rebirth, your soul will adapt the body to the use of energy that you have already mastered, but if there is no appropriate energy in this world, it will be useless until they do not have a better energy. "

"Why does it have such rules?"

"Well, it helps maintain balance since introducing new energies to a world would be disastrous." 

"What about the so-called Will of Heaven from xianxia novels. Does it really exist? And if so, how will it respond to me?"

"The will of heaven is nothing but the will of the world itself. As an example, I can cite Gaia and Alaia from the Fate series, super-gods from the Coiling dragon novel, and similar entities that protect their worlds. You do not need to worry, my son, the souls from Terra Mundo accepts any world "

"This is very useful information, I thank you for taking the time to tell me all this."

"Hahaha, everything is fine, my son, I would have informed you anyway. So, are you ready to make your wishes?"

"Is the choice of the world and appearance also a wish?"

"No, it would be decided by wheel. No need to worry, I promise you that your next family member will be a loving parent."

I took a pose for meditation and began to digest information, and pondered what I need if I want to have my own journey alongside those that I love and willing to come with me. 

"I'm ready, I thought hard and long, though I hope it is enough?"

"Hahaha, my son, you don't have to worry because I know you'll be able to handle it."

"Well, I'm ready to make

My first wish is to be boundless talent where I am able to learn and adapt to any technique, knowledge, skills, etc. Regardless of its origin. I know I can't have instant mastery but this way I'm not limited to its peak and can revise it to be better."

I know for a fact that instant mastery means to its maximum limits while my weaks won't hold me back by it. I can continuously train any skills to overcome its shortcomings. 

"Nex is I want my own planet, access to which will be only with me and those whom I will allow. I also want to completely control this planet as a god. Let this world adapt to the energies that I absorb and use, for example, if I go to the world of Naruto, then my world will also learn how to emit chakra and natural energy. But so that these energies do not conflict with each other. Thus, regardless of the world in which I am, I will always have a battery with different energies."

This way I have a place to return to and for people who want to come with me in my journey across other worlds. Furthermore, it can pass the shortcomings of lacking proper energies which would help me in the future. 

"My 3rd wish, I want my body, soul and energies to grow simultaneously while I strengthen one of them. This would make things easier in the future. "

I can't miss the opportunity to grow my body and energies while my soul remains stagnant. It would be ideal to have balances of the three to avoid weakening myself. 

"My 4th wish is I want a body that is extremely adaptable to any energy and makes it possible to mix them without any risks. And finally my last is, I want my soul, and the soul of those whom I celebrate, after death to go to my world. There you can create the body again. It will be a salvation if I get into trouble, or in a situation where death is inevitable." 

"I see you didn't want strength at the very beginning, but you wished for maximum potential and good conditions. I don't see any problems, your desires will be fully fulfilled, but for your 3 and 4 wishes I will give you a piece of my blood and can be considered my child, though it depends on you regarding how much potential and strength is unlock, you will also go through hellish torments to accept this heritage, but if you survive it, then with all your wishes, I'm sure you will reach a level of strength equal to mine, you can even surpass me. Now are you ready for your journey to an unknown world?"

The god summoned a wheel that didn't have any words on it yet somehow I could see countless names in it. 

"I agree to accept the legacy and am prepared to do everything to enjoy my new life."
