*Chapter 18: Embarrased~

Leiro's PoV

"Rriinnnggg!!!"

I looked out the window of our classroom when I noticed it was noon. The sun stayed the same- its vibrant rays struck and penetrate on anything transparent, the people outside were probably enjoying their break time and so to my classmates. They were busy packing their things up and enjoyed chatting to each other- except for me.

When I was alone in the classroom, I also arranged my belongings in the bag and looked at my cellphone. And yes, Lunely is coming from her work now. She's gonna be having lunch together with me and the rest of my friends since Yusarine isn't actually here.

"There you are Lei!" Meryl suddenly caught my attention when I saw her outside the classroom together with Shiina and Ayumi. They were wearing the same school uniforms and they were also carrying their bags- except for Ayumi. She really only brought her tablet ...

"Hi Meryl, Shiina, Ayumi." I greeted them as I slowly pinched Ayumi's cheek while she was playing something on her tablet. "My, you're so focused there."

"Brother Lei, stop disturbing me ..." Ayumi pleaded as she didn't even gaze at me and just continued playing. Meryl and Shiina and I just laughed when Meryl suddenly spoke to me.

"Oh, he's Lei- I saw your favorite limited edition chopsuey earlier posted on the menu board in the cafeteria. When I could remember, it was only once a week-"

"Eh?! Are you sure?!" My eyes widened and sparkled. Seriously, that's really my favorite thing to eat here in the cafeteria. Not only that it has a lot of vegetables but because I really like the free quail eggs there. Haha...

"Yep ... And we have to hurry before that disappears-" Meryl advised me when I suddenly stopped her.

"It's okay Meryl ... The cook there knows me so she always reserves me two orders when she's cooking." I gave Meryl a wink when she suddenly laughed a little.

"Oh, I see... Manang Nena, isn't she? Well, I can't deny- she's really good at cooking." Meryl smiled as she suddenly looked inside the classroom. "Wait, change of topic, is Lou isn't here yet?"

"Nah, she's still on her way." I answered while taking the cellphone out of my pocket. "She said she'll be here ten minutes before twelve. She's a bit busy at work so it'll take her a while to get here."

"I envy her..."

"Seriously Ayumi?! You are listening?!" Shiina suddenly laughed when we noticed that Ayumi actually spoke while she was busy playing. "Are we hearing it right? We thought you weren't moving there."

"Well, I'm listening."

"... Even if you have headphones in your ears? Such talent!" Shiina suddenly laughed again as Ayumi suddenly pouted. Meryl and I just giggled, as Ayumi suddenly closed her tablet and spoke.

"Stop teasing me Shiina! Hmph. I'll remember this day-"

"My, she's angry." Shiina just laughed one more time as she just petted Ayumi's head- well, Ayumi's the youngest among the four of us, so we treated her like our little sister.

Suddenly, soft but crisp foot thuds thumped outside our classroom. We all stopped talking as we I looked at the classroom door- well, at the way she was running, I can tell it's her.

"Am I late ?!" Lunely suddenly appeared, hardly catching her breath and her sweats gently flowed down on her face. She's wearing her usual office uniform with a pretty similar design to Meryl, Shiina and Ayumi, and her twin-tails seem to have fallen out of order. Suddenly, I stood up and took a handkerchief from my bag as I helped her to sit down and softly wiped her face using my handkerchief.

"You're just in time Lunely ... Take a break before we go to the cafeteria okay?" I smiled as I completely dried her face and petted her head when Meryl and Shiina suddenly laughed softly. "Hey, I heard that."

"Sorry Lei. You're as cute as you look while you're taking care of Lou. Well, I expect nothing less from a guy with a Sister Complex." Meryl and Shiina were still laughing when I gently pushed them.

"Eh, Lei?!"

"What? ... Is it bad to be like this? I'm used to it so it's not a joke to have a Sister Complex. My, you really are something." I just ignored them when I suddenly asked Lunely.

"Lunely, do you have a comb there? I'll fix your hair." I smiled and said that Meryl and Shiina suddenly giggled, while I noticed that Ayumi suddenly took the scrunchies from her hair at the same time without hesitation- I think she was planning something.

I almost threw the comb at Meryl and Shiina when they suddenly laughed and ran outside the classroom. "Lei, you're such a party popper!"

I also had no choice but to laugh and at the same time fix Lunely's hair. Meryl and Shiina also went back inside as they watched me.

"Are you jealous?" I jokingly told them.

"No we're not! Just look cute." Meryl said to me. "It's like you're a couple in what you're doing." Meryl laughed again when Lunely's face suddenly turned red, as if she would explode.

When I finished fixing Lunely's hair, Ayumi suddenly sat on Lunely's seat and smiled at me. "Fix my hair too, brother Lei!"

Yep- Ayumi really planned on something.

"How dare you-" Lunely suddenly got angry as she tried pushing Ayumi away from me when I suddenly blocked her. "You can fix your hair yourself right?!"

"Lunely, relax ... Ayumi is just like that so you don't have to be angry." I smiled at her as she tried to calm herself down as Meryl and Shiina suddenly laughed once again. Hey ... Is there nothing these two can do but to laugh?

"If you're jealous, you should just say so ... Here, let me do the same to you okay?" I was joking with them when they suddenly walked away from me once laughing. Lunely and Ayumi and I also laughed when I noticed that they were both far away.

"We're not kids anymore, duh!"

"Hurry up, Lei, we might run out of seats!" Meryl said to me as Shiina and her started running to the cafeteria. My... They left us again.

"C'mon now Lunely, Ayumi... Maybe Meryl and Shiina won't leave us any more food if we're late. Welp... Let's teach them a lesson later." I said as I reached out my hand to Lunely. Ayumi, on the other hand, held my hand too- eep, it looks like I already have two children. Haha...

Well, it doesn't matter. After fixing anything left, the three of us headed towards the cafeteria, and I felt like a total shameless guy with two young girls beside me holding my hand. I hope no one thinks something weird about my situation right now. I'm just a shameful, sister-complex guy, that's all.

Lunely's PoV

Who do you think she is... She's still holding Leior's hand- wow, do you want a fight Ayumi? Your chest is the only ones bigger than mine! You can't defeat me when comes to capturing Leiro's heart-

"Oh, Lunely ... Why are you holding my hand so tightly? Is there a problem?" I was surprised that I was too angry as I quickly flicked Leiro's hand away and apologized.

"S-Sorry, Kuya Lei, I'm sorry!" I told him but he just smiled a little while looking at the cafeteria just in front of us.

There were quite a few people inside- about one hundred maybe since twelve o'clock at noon. As we entered the cafeteria, I've noticed Leiro's eyes gazing towards that limited edition chopsuey posted outside. Hmm ... I think I smell something good.

"What took you guys so long? We've been waiting here for a while!" Meryl complained to us when I saw the dishes lying on the table- Meryl ordered some rice and beef steak that had already eaten the one-fourth part- eh? She had been waiting for a while yet she had already took a bite of her beef steak.

Shiina ordered some rice and chicken curry, and unlike Meryl it didn't really discount- somehow, Shiina's more patient than Meryl. And Ayumii eep? There is only a bottle of softdrinks was in her chair. Usually Meryl and Shiina know what we like to eat but why? Hello, are you on a diet?

But what caught my attention is Leiro's sparkling eyes gazing upon the two small bowls of chopsuey and rice na nasa inuupunan niya. So that is the reason why Leiro kept on gazing that limited edition chopsuey outside of the cafeteria.

"Finally! I'll going to taste you again!" Leiro said, but I heard it a bit sarcastically when my face suddenly turned red again- luh, bad mind ... Bad mind ...

"How about you Lou? Are you sure you won't order anything?" Meryl asked me, but I just nodded and took my lunch box from my bag.

"Don't worry Meryl. I have a my lunch so it's okay with me." I told her as I opened my lunch box, and out came those bunch of sushis that Leiro likes to eat as always.

"Yay! Sushi again!" Shiina smiled as she took one. Meryl did the same, and even though I'm still a little angry with Ayumi for what she did before, I just let her take some.

"Oh yes Lou... Tell us about what happened to you and Leiro last night." Leiro suddenly choked while drinking juice when he heard that.

"The heck Meryl ?! Why did that topic suddenly come to your mind?" Leiro was a little angry that time but Meryl still laughed while Shiina just went through the events with a smile since she was eating.

"What? ... Is it wrong to ask?" Meryl snorted as she asked me that thing again. "Well, Lou ... Hurry up, tell us a story."

"Don't you dare Lunely ... Don't you dare ..." Leiro stared at me while I'm kinda read his mind. Well, I'm sorry Lei- if I won't going to say it, you might be taken away from me.

"Well, Leiro slept on my lap last night-"

"That's sweet!!!" Meryl suddenly giggled as Leiro forced himself to fix what I said.

"What do you mean sleep on your lap?! You said I can rest on your lap because you know I'm having a problem, and I didn't sleep on your lap on my own okay?!" Meryl and I just laughed when Leiro tried to explain everything.

"Oh, of course, you didn't sleep on my lap Brother Lei. You just cried while I stroked your head-"

"That's really sweet!!!" Meryl and Siina said as Shiina was forced into the conversation. Leiro blushed a bit again as he tried to explain everything again.

"Liar."

"And yes, we just watched meteor showers last night-"

"That's really beyond romantical!" Meryl laughed once again- my, it's a good thing I have a supporter... Haha...

"And... Leiro and I also- umph!" I suddenly stopped speaking when Leiro suddenly put a spoonful of rice and chopsuey in my mouth while laughing at the same time...

"Yes Lunely, we already know that so just eat okay?" Leiro tried to be calm as I quickly swallowed the food- it's actually delicious.

"Leiro! I'm still not finished yet-"

"Yeah, yeah ... You know you really like it so here's another bite." Leiro said once again as he placed the rice with chopsuey in my mouth once again, for the reason that Meryl was laughing again, and more surprisingly, and the whole student inside the cafeteria.

"Ayyieehh !! You two are really sweet, as in!" They said that at the same time when I noticed Leiro blushed even more. Haha, you're really cute Lei!

"Don't make those hasty conclusions everyone, it's not like that!!!"
