*Chapter 13: Before It's Too Late...

Lunely's PoV

"Uhm..."

I yawned for a bit as I looked at Leiro's clock. It's already five in the morning, and it seems like he's still pretty much asleep. Well, it's Monday so he wakes up every six in the morning.

I wiped my past tears as I slowly got up from Leiro's bed. I almost forgot that this day will change the cycle of my world. This is the time that I'll be going to United States and leave Leiro on its own now.

W-Well, isn't this what I wanted when I first came here? That this one month will be over so I can go back to my old life? I-I'm sick being a little sister anymore! I-I want to be Leiro's wife, n-not just a mere little sister-

Suddenly, I heard whispers and a low-volume knocks coming from Leiro's door. I fixed my hair as I opened the door and out came Leiro's trusty maid, Manang Fae.

"It's a good thing you're awake Lou. Come on, your food is on the table. You need to eat and get dressed before Sir Leiro wakes up." Manang Fae smiled, but I can see the sadness embedded on her face. I was so depressed in my current situation that I couldn't stop crying. 'I didn't know that even Leiro's maids were sad when I left ... I couldn't do anything, to be honest.

"I-I don't think I can do this, Manang Fae ... I'm afraid of what might happen to Leiro-" I cried as Manang Fae slowly stroked my hair.

"You can do it my child. I know you can do it. And don't worry ... I know Leiro will understand your situation. As long as you can do it, huh? We're just here for you." Manang Fae smiled at me again and wiped my tears with her white maid apron. I tried not to cry at all and Leiro might wake up, so I tried to be strong ...

After I settled down, Manang Fae helped me get to the dining table to eat, but I still couldn't fully accept my fate...

After I adjusted myself I noticed it was almost six in the morning. I was about to pull out my suitcase when I heard Leiro's voice.

I put my suitcase aside and went to Leiro's bed. There is a trace of joy on his face- maybe he has a good dream now... My, you're soo cute when you were alseep, my dear crush... Well, I just fixed his blanket yet I couldn't stop crying.

Even if this is wrong, I gently kissed him as I felt the warmness of his lips. H-Hey! Don't get the wrong idea! I just did it as a goodbye kiss to him. And it's better when Leiro gets my first kiss than other people- that's fine with me, to be honest ...

I suddenly wiped away my tears when I noticed that it was only ten minutes to six in the morning. Suddenly I got up from my seat as I pulled my suitcase while watching Leiro.

"Goodbye Lei. I love you."

I slowly closed Leiro's door and took a deep breath. When I got out of Leiro's mansion, all of Leiro's maids, including his guards and drivers, opened up to me.

"Goodbye ma'am Lou! We will miss you!" Suddenly the maids told me I couldn't stop crying again. But instead of crying, Leiro's maids just gave me a big hug.

I got in Leiro's car because the driver decided to take me to the airport. Because the airport is far from here so that's okay for me.

Goodbye Lei ... Promise. We will meet again. And when that happens, I will make sure you become mine... For now, I have to leave you here first...

Leiro's PoV

"Rrrriiinnggg!!"

I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock when I noticed Lunely was no longer beside me. Eh, she woke up early today. And she didn't even wake me up, my my...

I stared at the ceiling when I heard something vibrate over the drawer near my alarm clock. I tried to pick up what that thing was when I saw that it was Lunely's smartphone.

I immediately answered Lunely's smartphone because it might be important. I'll just give it to Lunely when it's really important. I'm sure she's out there. But if it's just chit-chatting, then maybe I can also talk to Yusarine for a minute or two. Lunely can understand that.

"Good morning Yusarine-"

"Sis Lou, where are you?!" Yusarine suddenly shouted at her smartphone that my eardrums were about to fly. Eh, why is Yusarine like that? Do they have an errand today? "Hurry up, we're already waiting at the airport!"

"W-Wait... A-Airport, Y-Yusarine?" I told her while my ESCD monitor watch was still beeping. I was trying to take a deep breath when I noticed that Yusarine was no longer speaking ...

"A-Answer my question Y-Yusarine! I-Is what I heard right?!" I tried to shout when Manang Fae suddenly entered my room.

"N-Nyay!! I-I'm sorry, cuz Lei!! W-We also want to tell this thing to you but-"

Suddenly I turned off Lunely's cellphone and threw it at my glass window with all my might that my window was completely shattered and Manang Fae shouted.

"Oh! Por diyos por santo! S-sir Lei ... Calm down first!" Manang Fae suddenly said to me when she noticed me crying. I wanted to shout at Manang Fae but I couldn't do that since I never shouted at her- not in my life since I love her so much.

"A-Son ... P-Please listen to your nanay Fae, okay? I'm sorry if we didn't tell you this because we know you'll be really hurt... Ma'am Lou's flight to the United States today because there is patient there. You know ma'am Lou, don't you? She's a member of the ML institution so she has to go there ... "Manang Fae begged me as I suddenly took my clothes from the drawer.

"M-Manang Fae, tell our driver I'm leaving. Please, get the car ready for me." I told him to change my clothes at the same time, and I don't care if I get dressed in front of her, because the only thing on my mind is to see Lunely now...

"B-but sir Lei. Our drivers are gone now since they took your parents to the office and Lunely to the airport..." Manang Fae told me as he tried to stop me from what I was doing.

"Then get my old car ready, manang Fae. I'll drive." I told him to take my car key as well as the student driver's license that was in my small drawer. I tried to calm down even though I knew manang Fae wanted to stop me.

"Please, manang Fae!" I suddenly shouted at him when I suddenly cried in front of him. "Get my car ready, please! I can't quite figure out why Lunely did this to me so I want to know the truth, right from her!!" I begged him when he gently comforted me.

"A-All right, sir Lei. Just calm down okay? I'll get your car ready for you." Manang Fae also cried a bit at that time when she suddenly ran out of my room and went to the garage of our house. I was about to go out when I saw two maids in front of me.

"Um, please fix my broken window outside. And please throw away the smartphone you can see there." Suddenly I told my maids, although I was feeling they would not follow me, so all of a sudden my voice rose to them.

"Please fix my window, or YOU'RE FIRED!!" I suddenly shouted at them when they immediately nodded and ran into my room.

"My child, be careful on the road okay? Just calm down while driving. Maybe something else will happen to me when something bad happens to you." Manang Fae told me as she wiped my tears.

"All right, Manang Fae. And please tell Manang Sue and Manang May that I'm sorry because I shouted at them earlier. I didn't mean that ..." I told manang Fae as my car window broke and started that I will drive my car.

This is the second time I will drive my own car. And I'll promise that I'll improve now, not like before when Liana died because of me... This time, I'll drive it right.

After thirty minutes of driving I arrived at the airport. The driver didn't see me either since he apparently left back to our house, when I tried to park my car in the parking section of the airport.

When I finished parking my car, I suddenly got out of the car and entered the airport. There is nothing very unique about this airport, just some three-floored building with plain white concrete background and those large glass windows.

"Good morning sir, how can I help you?" The woman at the Information Counter smiled at me when I suddenly asked.

"Ma'am, can you please tell me where is the waiting area for the flight towards United States? And make haste, please!" I pleaded at her as she just smiled and quickly typed something on her computer.

"The waiting area for United States is located on the second floor sir. And unfortunately, the airplane will be landed five minutes so you won't be able to buy a ticket-"

"It's okay ma'am. I won't gonna be taking any flight anyway. I just wanted to look for someone else." I just smiled faintly as I thanked her in a calm way and went on my own now when-

"The Airplane JAF-03908 has landed on the airport runway. All passengers whom be going to United States are expected to aboard the plane within five minutes to avoid being left. Thank you for choosing Jadroff International Airport!"

No, no, no! Not yet! I have to see Lunely! I still need to see her! Please!

"Lunely... please... Don't leave me Lunely!!"
