As I bend down next to Mikayla and I see her sitting on the floor with a pile of blood right next to her I can not help as my heart starts to beat even more than it already does. I know it is not good to work myself up like this but I never thought I will see her like this. But for some reason, she looks okay.

I want to put my arm around her and just comfort her but I do not know what the protocol is in anything like this. I can not help but show my deep concern for her on my face because whether I like it or not I care a lot for her.

I look around her and I see all the towels in the blood.

"What happened here?"

I am not sure what is happening here because I never in my wildest dreams thought that Luke would come walking through that door. Now, he is not just standing at the door he is sitting right next to me and he looks so concerned. Then I see him looking around me and so I follow his eyes.
