I feel my heart starting to race out of control and suddenly Mikayla is not next to me anymore. I almost go into shock by how quickly she left my bed and then she stands there just saying I should calm down. I need to stop doing what I am doing and thinking what I am thinking.

The thought of me getting close to Mikayla is driving me insane and could quite literally be the death of me. I sit upright and look away from her. I can feel my breathing is shallow and I am not getting enough oxygen.

"Okay...I think you should...maybe you should just leave? Just give me a few minutes to think about dead puppies or something?"

I watch her nodding her head and then she quickly leaves the room. I really did not want her to leave but I know that I should get my heart rate down. I take deep breaths and try and think about all the awful things in life. But the one thing that brings my heart rate down is the thought that she had to leave me.
