Chapter 3

In the ballroom the king and Prince Brutus discussed the plans for the wedding, and it was all up to the prince. The princess has no say in the matter. The wedding theme was going to be blue and white with balloons on the corners of the wall

And tables leaning up against the walls leaving enough room to dance. On the tables would be lilies for centerpieces and music would be played by only the most expensive musicians.

Upstairs in her room Luna was sitting on her chair crying. As she looked in the mirror she heard a knock on then door and when she opened it Brutus was on the other side with a warm smile on his face.

"May I come in I need to measure you for your wedding dress" Brutus said to the princess in a respectful manner

"Yes come in" the princess responded quietly and you could hear the sorrow in her voice when she said it

"First I want to say I'm sorry for getting you in trouble I shouldn't have said that" Brutus said regretful

"No don't apologize it was my fault I shouldn't have let my feelings show when I heard those words it's just that its more than your brother has ever said to me so I was surprised when you said it"

"I'm so sorry Luna about my brother he could be very self serving"

The way he calls Lunas name makes her smile every time and makes her eyes shine. He made her name sound pretty which made her heart flutter for a reason she would never admit because if her father ever found out he would be pissed.

Tension filled the room but it wasn't awkward at all. As Brutus marked the height of Lunas body he would caress her skin while he took the measuring tape and brought it up to her thighs.

"Huh" Luna gave a soft gasp when he reached the the top of her thighs and her face started to blush and gave off a worried look at the same time"

"Is everything ok princess?" "If you are getting uncomfortable don't hold back to tell me I will stop" Brutus said to assure her that he respects her and would never want to hurt her or make her feel uncomfortable.

"No it's ok I'm just scared that my father is going to walk through the door and see you"

"Why would that be a bad thing miss I'm just measuring you to make sure that your dress fits you correctly" Brutus said giving Luna a devilish smirk as he teased her.

"You have such beautifully toned legs" Brutus said to Luna

"Thank you, could I ask you a question?"

"Of course" Brutus responded

"Why are you here?"..... "I know my father didn't send you in here theres no way the maids usually would take of something like this"

"I'm just trying to find out why my brother doesn't fancy you. I thought it was maybe your personality at first because your beautiful so that can't be why but your personality isn't bad either" Brutus said.

His face started to get red as well and could barely bring himself to look her in the eyes. He stood up but kept his head down as silence filled the room, there was a moment of awkwardness and tension between the two.

"It.. it's getting late Brutus I have to get rid for dinner" "I gotta say though your very ballsy to walk in here and talk to me like this and not be afraid of my father catching you. I admire such bravery"

"Well my brother has talks about you a lot to our father, it's of course negative bu.."

Before Brutus could tell her there was a loud knock on the door. The maids were here to get Luna ready but someone else was there too. Brutus quickly had to hide since the king didn't know he was even here, he hid in the closet right when someone barged through the door.

"Honey I'm home!" "Ahh there's my beautiful bride, did you miss me?" Gerard said to Luna as he gave her a kiss.. on the cheek.

"Yes my husband I missed you so much" Luna tried to respond without her voice shaking but couldn't and continued to bow down to him.

"So has my brother gotten started on the wedding?"

"Yes he has" Luna replied

"Good I'm going to head back to see the king now while you get dressed, I should be done discussing the plans for the wedding by dinner"

Luna didn't respond and instead just waited for him to leave which didn't take long. The maids started on getting Luna ready for dinner tonight. They combed her hair and curled it on the bottom and slowly went to the the middle part of her hair.

After they did her makeup with only neutral colors that matched and brought out the color of her bright yellow eyes. They decided to dress her up this time in a light pink dress that this time covers her cleavage completely. Princes orders. The dress covered her legs and her arms as well as her neck.

During the whole dinner it was silent the only time people talked was Lunas husband and it was to tell her that since the ballroom is already prepared that the wedding will no longer be held within two weeks but 4 days. They still need to hire the musicians and a priest for the ceremony as well as get Lunas wedding dress ready.
