1 I'm gonna watch a movie

"*sigh thank god I received passing grades for this semester, I thought I would fail, I almost did nothing except submitting the requirements, and getting passing scores from the test, at last, I finally have free time, now let's look for movies to watch, I'm tired watching anime and reading web novels all day"

In a small apartment a young man which looks to be 18-20 of age, scrolling the mouse looking for a movie to watch, as he kept scrolling he suddenly stop.

"Wait what movie is that again, I've seen my classmate mention it before on the group chat"

The young man takes out his phone and looked for the title on the group chat after back reading for a couple of minutes he finally found the title.

"Let's see, so its title is 'Encanto', let me search it"

After opening a couple of websites, he finally found a movie site where he can watch 'Encanto'.

"Ow, the characters look like the one in 'Coco'"

Before clicking the play button he extended his hand to reach the potato chips he bought earlier from the convenience store.

After sitting comfortably he wears his headset and clicks the play button.

After that, his sight blacked out.

As I open my eyes, wondering what happened, I looked around and confirmed that this was not my room.

"What happened, all I can remember is that, after starting the movie, it suddenly blacked out then I woke up here, which is pretty much not on my apartment, as I haven't seen my computer" I murmured lost in thought.

My head suddenly hurts, as memories surge into my mind, after that, I heard a voice in my head.

After hearing the message of the god, I pretty much understand that I died also because of that god, but he gave me compensation of reincarnation, an overpowered gift, and a ring for multiversal travel, which is too much for compensation.

Anyways I'm an orphan and don't have any friends so only a few will care like my teachers and some classmates.

After absorbing the memories, I found out that the original owner of the body is also an orphan, his mother died after giving birth, while his father died when he was 10 years old because of some disease, which can't be cured by the healer of the Madrigal family, although she helped in prolonging his life, alas the disease keep spreading.

With the death of his father, he lives in the house his parents left, alone.

I teared up a bit, although I don't know much about his father as I came from another world and an orphan, with the memories of his, even though it is just a memory still this is the first time I felt of being loved by a father.

"*sigh poor guy" I sighed as I wipe my tears.

(A.N. though I'm not sure if Julieta Madrigal can cure any disease, but at the movie, Mirabel has poor eyesight, so I think Julieta can only heal injuries and some diseases.)

'Well I guess, I will start copying skills and abilities from my previous life'

As I was about to start creating skills I heard a knock on my door, and a voice.

"Pedro! Pedro! Open up" a beautiful but childish voice entered my ear.

"Oh, so this body's name is also Pedro, same as my previous life, wait what do I look like."

I hurriedly look at the mirror and notice that I still have poor eyesight, so I wear the round-framed glasses at the front of the mirror, I stared at my reflection there isn't that much of a change aside from my height which seems to be shorter. I still have that black-colored hair, slim build, and small iris.

As I was checking my changes, I heard the knock getting louder.

"Hey, Pedro! open the door" that person seems to be angry.

"Right I'm coming"

As I opened the door, I noticed a girl with her arms crossed and a pout on her face. She has dark skin, hazel eyes, and long, shiny, black hair with a pink flower on the left side.

'Cute' I thought inwardly.

"Hello?" I asked.

"What took you so long, Mirabel's ceremony is about to start." said the girl as she took my hand and drag me to the ceremony.

'*sigh this is my first time holding a girl's hand, nope, remember she is 11 years old, I don't want someone barging at my house shouting 'Open up!'

I followed her as I gaze at the dark sky remembering that time the owner of the body met the girl.

(Memories)

It was that day my father died, Ms. Julieta Madrigal told me that she can't do anything as it seems that his body reach its limit, I ran out of the house, holding my tears as it threatens to fall, I found a tree and sat down gazing at the sky covered with dark clouds, tears streamed down my face, I failed to notice that a girl followed me, as I continue to cry I heard a voice.

"Why are you crying" I turn around and found a girl looking at me.

"I-I'm not cr-crying" I wipe my tears as I look at her.

"No you're crying," she said with a smile.

"So why are you crying?" she asked, completely unaware of what happened.

"I-Its nothing" I answered.

"Hm Okay, by the way, my name is Isabela, what's yours?"

"M-my name is Pedro"

"Woah you have the same name as my Abuelo(Grandfather), let's be friends," she said as she extends her hand.

"O-okay" I answered as I reached out my hand.

She is my first friend as I don't often go out, I have to watch my father in case something happens if I leave him alone.

After that, we often go out and play under the tree, that's when I found out her gift is to conjure flowers and plants(Chlorokinesis), and with that, the feeling of losing someone disappeared, as I found someone who fills it up.

'Oh, so she's the childhood friend, anyways, what's with this ceremony' I thought as I don't have all the memories of my predecessor.

We reached the house which everyone calls 'Casita' which seems to be moving. Doors, tiles, and windows.

'You can only see this in a horror movie' I chuckled inwardly.

I followed her as we enter the house.

"I will go first" she waved at me, as she go to her family.

I stand watched at the side as the ceremony is about to start.

'Abuela'(Grandmother) Alma Madrigal the Matriarch of the Madrigal and the head of the enchanted village, begins her speech.

After the speech, she heads upstairs holding a candle, and stands beside a door that emits light. Standing behind her are Isabela, Isabela's mother, father, and her younger sister, which I recalled her name is Luisa she is er... a bit muscular for her age, and the one with the spotlight is Mirabel her youngest sister a little girl with a curly chin-length black hair, thick eyebrows, and hazel eyes, wearing round-framed glasses.

(A.N. not sure if they are standing behind Abuela that day)

As the ceremony starts, the little girl walks in the aisle heading upstairs towards the door.

She faced Abuela and touched the candle then walks to the front of the door, as she touched the knob, the door itself started to dissipate, as the door completely disappeared the little girl wore a sad expression on her face, shock can be seen in the crowd, while I have a confused look as I don't have any memories about a Madrigal having no gift aside from the in-laws.

'*sigh poor girl'

'Unless this is the sign of an MC, where they have trash bloodlines then as the story progressed they will have a gift which is much special than the others' I thought, as I notice that Isabela and her family wore a sad expression.

After that, although there is still a party, everyone seemed to have no energy, guests started leaving, and I head towards Isabela to say goodbye.

I saw her looking at me with a sad expression.

"Hey don't be sad" I tried to comfort her.

"You believe in miracles right, every one of you in your family is special so of course, your little sister should be special, maybe hers is different than the rest, just like yours, anyways no need to be sad, you should always wear that smile of yours it makes you a lot cuter you know."

"Then I will go now" I smiled as I waved at her and left the 'Casita'.

Isabela's sad expression disappeared and is left standing with her ears flushed red.

As I reached my home, the sky is completely dark, I entered my room, turn on the lights.

"Let's start creating skills"

I fell into deep thought, trying to remember some skills from animes, novels, movies, and other forms of media in my previous life.

"Right let's start with those three first"
