Theojan City. This is the name of the city where Eli lives.
It is separated into the outer district and the inner district.
Theojan City is a third-rate city by its level. When Eli was a baby, he was abandoned at an orphanage in the outer districts.
It was where he grew up until he was 13 years old. There, he was raised with much love and care.
But unfortunately, the day came when he was tested and he awakened his Transformation ability.
Being only able to transform the color of his hair, he discovered that the eyes that were previously filled with love and care were now filled with disdain and disgust.
He began to hate his ability and eventually hated himself. He blamed himself and his weakness as the reason why he was abandoned.
He did this until he met a man in the outer districts.
One day while he was getting beaten up by a bunch of teenagers who were in some sort of gang in the outer district, a man came and saved him from getting his bones broken.
His name was, Big Joe.
Apparently, Big Joe was the gang leader of the teenagers who were hitting Eli.
Big Joe extended a hand to Eli and offered to help me stand on his own two feet in the outer district if he follows him.
Eli agreed without hesitation and hence he became part of the gang.
'The Black Dragon.'
The Black Dragon gang wasn't your usual gang. They were very well coordinated and even times did some mercenary work.
The most important thing was that they had hunters in their ranks. Who were the high ranking members of the gang.
With connections like these, Eli walked with Big Joe and learnt a lot about surviving in the outer district.
He also came to know of the horrible side of the noble families and some of their dirty business.
But during all his time in the gang, Eli never learnt to use his fist and prefer to use his brain in solving problems.
This was one thing that Big Joe often complained to him about.
But when Eli turned 15, he was given a mission by Big Joe. As a test if he is ready to integrate fully with the Black Dragon.
But Eli could not take another man's life and that resulted in his removal from the gang.
It was after that happened that he was bullied by his classmates and then took a personal decision to grow stronger.
Fast forward to the present, a year later Eli has finally received his admission later and it was clear that all his hard work didn't go to waste.
But for some reason, Big Joe is here to find him.
Around Eli, many people passed and gazed at the group and minded their business.
"My boy, Eli."
"Big Joe," Eli nodded at the man.
Big Joe as his name implies is indeed a 'Big Guy'.
He was almost two meters tall and with large bulging muscles. If it was in the Pre-Awakening Era, he would be called a mega body builder.
Big Joe's ability was strength based and it influenced his physique.
"I see you are about to leave," Big Joe said.
"Yes," Eli nodded calmly.
At this point, he held a box in his hand which contained some of his valuables.
Today is the day he gets admitted officially into the Elite Hunters Academy of Theojan City.
Where they were now was the appointed place where he will be picked up by a bus that will take him to the inner city where the academy was.
"Congratulations, Eli. You look more mature and more calm than before. You have gotten stronger, hahaha," Big Joe smiled widely.
"I did what I could."
"I knew you had it in you kid. But so far, everything you have seen here is child's play compared to the real world," Big Joe's tone suddenly changed.
"I would like you to remember my teachings and do your best to survive no matter what."
"I always commended your intelligence for a reason. Use it well, boy."
"I will," Eli replied.
He remembers this scene.
Big Joe whom he had seen for a long time came to see him off.
Back then he almost got teary eyed by the whole thing, but he isn't the same Eli as then.
'This is a new life now.'
Hence, not everything will go as it did in the past life.
*Vroom!*
At this moment a long black bus arrives right beside them.
The bus was floating slightly above the ground, using the latest gravitational moving vehicle technology.
"You ride is here, boy. I hope I don't see you around these parts anymore," Big Joe left with his men after saying that.
"Alright Eli, we won't be seeing for some time but remember to come to the address I gave you when you are free," Mason spoke up at this time.
Eli nodded but said nothing else.
*Zing!*
A staircase extended out of the bus and Eli walked into it.
*Vroom!*

Eli sat beside the window and gazed outside as the bus moved past the buildings on the side.
His mind were filled with a lot of thoughts.
'After entering the academy, further tests will be done regarding our level.'
'It will be like a reassessment since the last time we took the test to get admitted into the academy was 3 months ago.'
'I remember that amongst our batch of new students, there were some who had already reach the power level of official F-Rank Hunters.'
'It has been a week now since I returned back in time with the system.'
'My stats have grown a lot. I am way stronger than I was at this time.'
'Back then I wasn't even at the Pseudo-Hunter level...but now...'
'Status,' Eli mentally commanded.
