Awakened: Project Rebirth!

"Princess Shiva..." Eli muttered in shock.

'No, no, no!'

'This is disastrous! What is this devilish witch doing here? No wait, how did she even find me in the first place?!'

Eli began to panic upon seeing the lady.

He knew how black-hearted she was and even felt it was better to be swallowed up by a blackhole than to fall into her hands.

Meanwhile the lady in question tilted her head and frowned, "Princess?..."

"Unfortunately I no longer go by that title. It appears your years away from your master has made you lose track of the matters of the world."

She said cooly as she looked at Eli...bored.

Eli was smart and knew the reason for her attitude and knelt down and...bowed.

"Master, this lowly servant has failed you. It was not my intention to be away from you for this long," Eli felt great humiliation as he did this but he had to be smart to survive.

It was this understanding that has kept his weak self alive all these years while the others perished.

"Hmm, I believe you...but you are not telling me the whole truth are you?"

"What?"

"My sister...the current queen of the elves. She saw you being swallowed up by a dimensional rift that led to the forbidden dimensions," she replied.

*Badum!*

'Shit! She knows!' Eli panicked but decided to remain calm.

"That is true master," he admitted.

"I have no intention to hide this from you."

"Oh...is that really the case?"

"Of course. Master, you of all people should know of my loyalty to you all these years, and how that I have worked according to all of your will."

"Hmm, you were indeed loyal. But...tell me Eli. Is your heart still that loyal?"

"The forbidden dimensions is one where you can only enter and not return. It is a place of eternal exile and even Godking Thor wouldn't dare rashly step in and even if he did, he might also not return..."

Eli's heart jumped with every word that Shiva said.

"So tell me, Eli. How did a weakling like you, not only survive but you were able return here safely?"

"Master, the truth of this story is this; While I was being transported, another portal coincedentally appeared and teleported me out. Albeit with some fatal injuries."

"After that, I found myself here and decided to fully recover before I report back to you," Eli replied smoothly what he had thought of before just in case of having the current encounter.

Only that he didn't expect it to be so soon!

"Hmm, you are indeed injured but..."

"I know you are lying!"

"Master-!"

"Spit out the truth or die," she said coldly and a mighty pressure fell upon Eli and it forced him to lie flat on the ground on top one of his palm which held the cube.

Eli held it tightly and desperately injected his origin power into the cube.

'Come on...come on...a chance to reign supreme. Will I give this chance to others?!'

"Since you won't speak, I will end your life and enslave your soul," her words sent chills down Eli's spine.

"Master wait..."

"No need," she pointed her finger and a dark ray of energy pierced through his chest.

*Puchi!*

*Badum!*

That was the last heart beat Eli heard as he began to lose consciousness.

His heart was corroded with dark energy and then suddenly the cube reacted!

It sent a string of power into Eli and voraciously devoured that dark energy.

As it did the runes on it began to shine again!

It turns out that it wasn't that Eli's origin power was not enough.

But rather it's quality was too poor!

The cube needed an energy with the aspect of divinity which Eli clearly lacked!

As this was happening, the cube burrowed itself into Eli's dying heart and absorbed his blood and then a voice spoke in Eli's mind.

[System awakening successful... binding successful...initiating...Project 002 ~ A Chance to Reign Supreme!]

[Calculating all probabilities... Loading...0.002%...1%....5%...60%...]

[99%....100%... calculation complete!]

[Only one chance out of infinite possibilities found...initiating... Project Rebirth!]

At this time Shiva senses that something was wrong.

"Activate the Gopheim Shield!" She commanded as she narrowed her eyes.

"Well, well, well, it appears that there is something after all."

Shiva flew to Eli's body then extended her hand until...

*Boom!*

An explosive power sent her hurling away and she crashed into her ship tearing it in half!

*Bang!*

"What?!"

"Protect the Empress!"

[Host Protection Mechanism Activated]

[Host Soul Absorbed and Preserved!]

[Initiate Travel Sequence...Begin!]

The 12 guards reacted promptly but as they gathered around Shiva who was already unconscious, a light flew out of Eli's body and broke through the transparent shield that was set up.

*Pierce!*

*Swoosh!*

In the blink of an eye it moved at a speed far greater than the speed of light and suddenly vanished out of thin air.

"Urgh...bastard," Shiva cursed as she slowly regained consciousness.

"Contact her..." She said.

"Who?" Asked one of the guards.

"Who else...that evil witch!"

The guard immediately knew that she was referring to the Elven Queen!

"Yes, Empress. Right away!"

.....

"The order of the universe is trembling. What could have caused this?"

A being...an entity so large that it's size couldn't be estimated muttered with intrigue.

His figure sat on a throne the size of many galaxies with his hand on his chin.

"There will be no disorder in this world...not on my watch. Now let me see..."

"What?!"

The figure suddenly exclaimed as a light appeared in front of him out of nowhere dived into the floor beneath him and subsequently disappeared as though the floor was an illusion.

"How dare you go after the laws?!"

The figure spoke and shrunk it's height and dived into the same floor which actually led to a hidden dimension that was filled with multicoloured floating lights.

Immediately the entity saw the blue light blazing though the expanse, its goal was clear to him.

"The time laws!"

"Never! Not on my watch you don't!"

The figure said coldly and a incomparable ancient power held down the speeding cube and it came to a halt.

The figure flew and stood before the cube, "What sort of artifact is this?" He wondered.

[Emergency reserved law rune... activate...Law breaker!]

*Crack!*

A cracking sound was heard as the cube broke free of the constraints and the figure reacted quickly and tried to grab it with his palm only for a light to shoot out of the cube and into it's head.

"What?!"

The figure was shocked that something could break through his defence and before he could take another action, he froze.

[Beep! Beep!.... Reserves are low...unable to access more hidden power.... Initiating Absorption Sequence!]

A mighty Devouring Force began to devour the divine power within the entity before it and after a while.

[Energy Reserves successfully refilled... continue...Project Rebirth!]

*Boom!*

The cube flew with greater speed than before and in a split second it arrived at where it wanted to go.

A rotating green star!

The cube dived into the star and then the entire world froze for a split second and then resumed it normalcy.

After that tiny time frame of being frozen a few beings in the universe sensed that something was wrong but they couldn't quite place their finger on it.

At this time the figure regained consciousness and left the hidden dimension, returning to his throne as if nothing happened with not much thought in his mind.

"The order will always be maintained," he said.

But unknown to him, the cube had already arrived at a time far back in the past.
