43 Project

Yan Shu's thoughts came to a halt as she noticed an old lady getting on the bus. She promptly stood up and gave her seat to the older woman, who smiled in response.

Half an hour later, her stop finally arrived and she got off from the bus. Downtown was very far from her home, so the commuting took some time.

As she walked back home, her stomach started growling so she brought some food on the way.

Arriving back home, she found Song Yun on the couch while watching a drama on TV. Yan Shu sat by her side and handed her a takeout box. They both ate and went straight to bed afterward.

Arriving at college the next day, they went straight to class and met with their friends. They talked for a while until the teacher finally arrived.

"Now, settle down everybody," said the teacher.

"Now, today we'll be doing something different. Today, you'll start working on a project. You'll have to spread into groups of six and work on designing something. It can be a game, a website, or anything you prefer, as long as it's related to our studies.

"The teacher gave them fifteen minutes to assemble their groups, and they wouldn't be allowed to change it afterward. As there were sixty students in the class, then they would all be spread into ten groups.

Yan Shu and her friends didn't need to think too much about who to group with, as they were already six people in total. So she simply wrote their names and handed it to the teacher.

Some students lamented that. They wanted to have Yan Shu and Song Yun on their groups, but there was nothing they could do.

At the end of the fifteen minutes, everyone had already handed in their group compositions.

"Remember that this project will be very important to your final grade," the teacher advised. "Not only that, if you do something really good, then it could end up being noticed or even bought by some influential companies. You'll have a full month to complete it, so get to work." Having said her piece, the teacher then ended the class early so that the students could start working on their projects.

Still, some students groaned at the deadline for this project, because it would come to an end around the same time that the exams would start.

Not only that, but the project will heavily affect their grades, to the point where if they failed at it, then they would be immediately reproved.

Instead of starting to work on their projects, some students used this time to mentally prepare themselves for it. Song Yun did neither, preferring to curse at the teacher who gave them the project. Other Crazy Batch members did the same until Yan Shu told them to stop complaining. She probably was the only one not displeased by the project.

With her on command, they all started brainstorming ideas for the project until finally deciding to design an online game.
