The nights in this strange land were endless and the inhabitants had long been born, grown old, and died without ever seeing the rising of the sun. It was a truly unique place on the continent and the gloomy atmosphere greatly affected the people who lived in this place. The reign of terror that enshrouded them seemed forever without end. Nonetheless, despite this, life carried on. The city was well lit and the street lights were always well maintained. Everything was orderly and the city streets were bustling with activity.
