Chapter 50 - When they meet (Ashur POV)

I need to question her about her relationship with the king. I must approach her carefully I don't know how she might react.

I have been asking about her to everyone, they all seem to be head over heels for her.

Even Rahul he defends her everytime I raise suspicions.

During diner I will observe her, I know Mrs Clair and Mr Theodor are making a big deal out of tonight but... I can't shake the feeling that she is hiding something.

'Ashur what's wrong? I can feel your heart is unseasy.'

'Is nothing serious Ignis, don't worry.'

Is not like I can rely much on Ignis somehow he is been acting strange everytime I came close to her.

I feel like he is going to lose control.

I keep pacing back and forth in this room, it feels wierd, I need to get out of here.

I think need to ease my thoughts, I haven't been in the conservatory since I arrived.

As I walked in, I could see that the place has been taken care of, it was warmer than usual, not that I could feel cold anymore.

However there was no dust.

'Did Mr. Theodor prepared this for me? I have to thank him for it.'

Looking up I could see the stars already filling the sky. Even without the moonlight shining the starry sky lighted the place.

I missed this.

'Is this place magical? You feel so relaxed.'

'It might be.'

I looked around the place was really impeccable was cleaned and new furnished, I guess Mrs Clair was here too, and went all out.

As I walked further into the dark corner of the room I could see small bookshelfs, with books.

This is interesting...

I grabbed one, as I was reading what it was about, I sensed a sweet smell, it was very delightful.

'ohh such sweet smell. Hmmmm' Ignis comment in a low voice.

'Indeed'

I turned my head, there she was, the cause of my all uneasyness, in the middle of the room looking up.

I couldn't control my heart it was beating loud, I don't understand why, she looked so.. beautiful, almost like a fairy, under that light.

What am I thinking right now. Maybe there's something wrong with my eyes.

I think that damn lizard ideas are rubbing off on me.

However she did looked different what is it, her hair, her scent, or is just the light

Ohhh she smiled, I have never seem her smile.

Before I could control heat come out through my body.

'Are you serious? You damn lizard.' Ignis just ignored me.

She suddenly turned her head in my direction.

I could only stare back, she was looking at me so intensely, felt like my body was going to burst in flames.

"Wh- why are you here?" She asked me.

"It's my house, I am not allowed everywhere." Do I have to explain where I go in my own house?

I felt like my body was moving on its own accord, as I came closer she backed away.

Was she scared of me? She didn't seem like she was before or when she attacked me when I first arrived.

"Are you scared of me?" Before I knew I had blurted those words out.

'You should get closer and grab her'

'What??' Ignis was even worst than any intrusive thought.

"No." Her words brought me back again. I felt like my mind was in out, with Ignis getting out of control.

"It doesn't look like it." My body moved again on its own forward.

Is she blushing?? Is she trying to seduce me?

'Her smell is so delicious it is so enticing I really feel like you should ....Ashur this human aura smells delicious. Should we take her, here and now.'

'What hell are you saying? Since when are you interested in women?'

'Indeed I wonder, but this one...'

'Just stop.' I felt my face heat up all I could do was turn away.

what is this damn lizard thinking?

Why is she not saying anything?

We should just go get over with it, and have diner.

"Let's go." I tried to collect all my calm.

"Now?" She asked surprised.

"Yes" why is she surprised?? Was she expecting anything else?

" I have to repair my bow. You broke it last time.".

What??

"Why... You don't need the bow."

"Do you prefer, if use the dagger? "

I feel so confused, what she's talking about?

'she is fiesty... I like her.' I ignored him.

"What are you trying to do, having me stabbed?"

" I don't think we need to go that far. And I'm still not that good with it."

" what are you talking about?"

" You want to fight right?"

" Oh I see...why would I want to fight." This is exauhsting, those two are just in another level.

"Let's just have dinner." I sighted. Without I notecing my hand was extended to her.

I don't know what is happening to Ignis, whatever it is she is the cause.

I should in any case be careful.

She looked for a while at me before taking my hand.
