1 Prologue

Hidden deep within a palace in a room with no trickle of light lay a glass coffin surrounded by roses as white as snow, in the coffin lies a beauty like no other, her hair flaming red, it gives off a radiant warmth like fire but get too close and you will get burnt, her skin whiter than that of an albino, her icy blue dress that gave off the same energy as her pale pink lips shut tight with no signs of movement, a crown as silver as her nails lay on her chest, and her hands that lay slightly below the crown in a crossed position holds a Boquet of blood-red roses. She is considered a weapon, a weapon capable of mass destruction and this weapon must be kept locked away in the coffin so as to prevent a disaster that will destroy the world and everything that is in it.

That is what the people believe and are constantly told by the royals but in actuality, the beauty that lays within the coffin is the rightful empress of the empire, her throne wrongfully taken from her but immortality, the power no other human being possesses is her strongest weapon, so killing her was something the rebels could not achieve however the damage done to her although not capable of killing her ruined her body to a great extent causing a decline in her power and without her powers, the empress weakens greatly. Together with the empress all those that received a bit of her power, all those loyal enough to die for her went into a deep slumber. Their souls locked away in the tallest tower of the empire awaiting their master to come set them free. It has been like that for over 15 years but although she shows no signs of awakening, the current royals are in constant fear as no sword in the empire can pierce through her skin.

After her defeat and the rise of the current emperor 15 years ago the whole empire was thrown into turmoil, the emperor unable to handle the displeasure of the people ordered his subjects to spread rumors that the empress had conspired with a demon thus making it necessary for her to be slain but the power of the demon still runs through her veins thus making it necessary for her body to be preserved and hidden. The empress had always been the most powerful being throughout the 26 empires and 14 kingdoms, a lot found the rumor quite ridiculous for such a powerful being to be slain even with the power of a demon, a mere mortal possibly couldn't have slain the empress. The Empire's people weren't the only ones shocked by this news, the news spread fast, it spread like wildfire, many saw this as an opportunity to acquire the largest and most powerful empire in the world but none dared to try for fear of failure and the extinction of their ruling lands. Expecting the rumors to help him in any manner of way, the situation only worsened, but over time conspiracy theories arose making it easier for the emperor, the people no longer praised the previous empress, in fact, they had forgotten about her, the Emporer was doing a very good job governing the people.

All but one had lost all hope that the empress was not evil and demon-possessed, After all, all that stood by her side disappeared and all the people had to quench their curiosities were the words of the present royals. All but one, the one being a young man who had met the empress when he was 6, no matter what others said and still say he stands by his belief "the empress is a good person", he doesn't believe she's dead, he didn't know how or why but he knew the empress would surely return and her return would be soon, he always had that feeling after her disappearance. For most children, memories of their earlier experiences in life later bury themselves deep within their mind leaving only fragments that had been broken off in the process of its burial but for this young man, his earlier childhood especially his encounter with the empress was something he could and would never forget.
