Chapter 7 - Imperial Library

Inside the Imperial Library,

Aither looked through the books one by one trying to find something about infusion.

He looked through for a few minutes and finally managed to find one at one of the large shelves.

The title of the book was "Infusion" and the whole middle part of the shelf was filled with it.

After, checking it for a moment he then went to one of the tables and sat on the chair.

"Infusion huh, going by what the general said I should first master materialization to make it easier to infuse my Aeven to an object."

"Well, let's just read it first."

The contents of the book like the general said has something to do with materialization.

By becoming more proficient in materializing it will become easier to infuse your Aeven.

However, you can still try to infuse without perfecting materialization.

It will only become more difficult to do so.

The process to infusing your Aeven is simple.

First, you must materialize the Aeven, then by doing that you must find an object or thing.

Second, feel the manifested Aeven and make it flow through an object.

Third, If by doing so you have failed it means that you are just not good enough.

Lastly, practice materialization and become more proficient in doing it and try again.

The summary made by Aither in his mind is simple.

Infusing is actually quite simple, however many people still fail to do it.

After all, not everyone is able to manifest Aeven.

Manifesting Aeven depends on your luck, fate, skill, and even bloodline.

If your parents are able to use Aeven then you have a higher chance in manifesting it.

Aither then move out of the library and went back to his room.

But before that he contacted the general using the messenger scroll he gave him.

"Oh, Aither so you needed a sword. Are you gonna try practicing the way of the sword?"

"Not yet, for now I'm gonna practice infusing it with Aeven."

"I already have the basics and I've already improve in manifesting Aeven."

"That's why I think I'll be able to infuse my Aeven into this sword by the end of the day."

"...... Is that so... Well, here you go."

(Well, damn if everybody heard what this kid just said they wouldn't even believe him.)

(Even I wouldn't if I didn't see him materialize Aeven in a few minutes.

To think of infusing Aeven into an object after a day, his talent could only be described as abnormal.)

Thinking that in his mind, the general left looking forward to the fight for the throne between the prince and princess....

And an unexpected variable.

Aither held the sword in front of his face and observe every angle of it.

Looking for a pathway for his Aeven to flow through.

The sword was single edge and looked more like a Japanese katana.

So the flow of Aeven should flow more on the edge of the blade.

He then sat down in a cross legged position and focused his mind on only one thing.

The Aeven in his body and surroundings.

He gathered the Aeven in his surroundings slowly and made flow through his body.

From his chest it flowed to his arms, feets, abdomen, then to his hand where his blade was held.

He stayed in that state for a few moments, then he materialize the Aeven in his arm and made flow through the blade.

However, he failed and the only thing he was able to achieve was coat the outside layer of the blade.

But it wasn't all a failure, after all by coating the blade he had already achieve one of the first steps in advancing to the Infusion Realm.

He tried and tried again and this repeating process continued on for a few hours.

The afternoon ended and the sun set on the horizon marking the end of the day.

At the same time, Aither was still working on the infusion Realm, trying to infuse his Aeven into the blade.

However, he failed again and again, yet he didn't give up.

He was already closed to reaching the infusion Realm.

And then when it became late at night as darkness already filled the world.

A sword lay in a man's hand, it was a single edge sword.

And it was glowing with a golden light that had black lights flickering from time to time.

Then, suddenly all the light flowed to one part of the sword, to the single edge blade and it condensed.

Becoming more and more refined by the second and finally.

It formed an aura of the color gold and black.

Aither smiled at that.

After all he has finally moved up a realm, the realm of infusion.
