'U-unique Ability!?' Kain's movement came to an abrupt halt with the emerge of the last notification.

'Show the description of 𝑫𝒆𝒗𝒐𝒖𝒓' Kain asked the system while resuming his run toward the school which he was nearing.

'Holy hell- this is hella Overpowered, and coupled with my sword which gave such a boost to my physique... ill be able to kill those that are much more stronger than me and get all their stats' Kain thought excitedly before staring at the huge playground of the school that littered with Zombies.

'ah... im a certified retard aren't I?... Im out of school already which obviously means my brothers were out as well' Kain cursed himself in his mind before suddenly jumping on top of the 3 meter gate.

Then Kain jumped again from the gate, this time much higher and landed on top of the school building before again staring at the playground.

'I hope I don't find my little brother among these kids..' Kain for the first time put his super-natural-like eye-sight to maximum use as he tried to find traces of his little brother in there.

All that was left in that playground were bodies of kids, parents and teachers. Most of them are Zombies while there were some who were still half Zombies.

'I don't see any traces of my little brother, even if he became a Zombie, his signature hoodie would give him away and also his face.. I- im sure he is not here. They might have evacuated to the school building.' Kain convinced himself as he decided to go into the building.

Kain, not wanting to waste even a second being there broke the ceiling door handle without making a commotion, and started going down from the 4th floor using the stairs.

'Assuming that they evacuated inside, they probably hid in one of the first floors classrooms in rush to save themselves' Kain decided to go straight to the first.

The staircases leading to the third and second floor were rather clean and devoid of any Zombies, the first floor staircase however had a few Zombies trying to climb.

The 3 kid Zombies of around 8 and 1 adult were decapitated by Kain within the blink of an eye as he showed no mercy even if they were kids, well Zombie kids.

When he finally made it to the first floor, his eyes stared upon the many tens of Zombies crowding the hallways, some even banging on the doors while others bumping on to each other randomly. The hall was eerie with sounds of groaning.

'ugh.. the first floor has like 20 rooms, It's gonna take forever searching through all of them' Kain lamented.

' or not- I can try using my super hearing sense, which along with all my senses got massively upgraded due to my stats' Kain immediately came up with a time saving idea.

He, standing in front of the staircase's door focused all his attention on the sounds that every being in this building made, be it loud or quiet.

"grrrr"

"arghhhhrrr"

"brrrrr"

"Rat-tat-tat"

"Som.... sa.. be ok.."

Kain suddenly jolted from his concentration due to influx of sound almost flooding his mind which made him shudder for a second.

'That last voice, someone was speaking.. it was very faint, probably from the other side of the hallway' Kain realized and started running using a shortcut, which was in the middle of the hallway used to cut through to the other side. While doing so, he made sure to specifically look for any sound made by humans.

'Im sure this is where the sound came from' He thought while standing in front of a brown door and right on top of it was written 'Supervisor'.

"Yo- *cough* hello, is anyone in there?" Kain spoke in his most silenced voice to not scare those inside while he tapped the door 3 times.

"I- i think I heard some sound from outside"

"is someone hear to save us?"

" Is it the NYPD"

People inside were silently speaking to themselves, some sounding relieved that there were others alive, some sounded scared, and the rest hopeful- thinking that someone will save them.

Kain waited for sometime and when he was getting ready to knock it again, someone from the other side spoke.

"Are there any Zombies around you?" A voice that sounded like it came from a middle aged women spoke out to ask him a question, in a low voice.

" There is none, otherwise I wouldn't be able to talk so steadily with you guys" Kain lied through his teeth, there were Zombies left and right, not many but yeah.. there was.

'Yeah, I can break in through the door but it will make sound resulting in loud noises which will attract many and it might endanger my brothers and these people, no need to get them killed unnecessarily.. especially when humanity is already on the path-'

Kain's trail of thought was broken as the door slowly opened, inside was a room with 1 big table and chairs in the back with dozens of seats in front of the table, along with many seats around the sides of the room, of which few were occupied by some people.

"Come In quickly" said the female voice from before, it was a lady standing head to head with Kain with a height of 5'7, black hair.

Kain hearing this moved in quickly, and he now had a clear view of the inside. Within the room, there were about 30 people present, most looked terrified at what they had witnessed and still couldn't get over it.

'what. where is he?...' Kain looked all around him the moment he got in, trying to find his little brother but he was nowhere to be found.

"how were yo-"

"Is that all of you that are here? are there any more students?"

The lady from before wanted to ask something but Kain abruptly cut her off and asked a question of his, causing the women to frown.

"Answer my ques- sigh never mind, yes this is all of us from this building. Most of the students and staff's are in the Auditorium" She spoke, causing Kain to ponder deeply.

'This building is the closest to where the students are set off.. could he have ran over there?..' Kain thought as he shifted his eyes from the women to the window to the right that shows another building, specifically entrance to the Auditorium.

"Now then, how were yo-" The lady seemingly wanting to ask the question was cut off again as Kain suddenly started moving forward.

"W-what are you doing?" The lady inquired.

"Thanks" was all Kain said with his back facing her before he ran at a speed that no one present was even able to even catch his shadow.

"crash"

Kain broke through the glass with a jump that led him right next to building the Auditorium was in.

'I'll just break through a random a random firs- should I just break through the Auditorium?' Kain suddenly thought that going up then finding the Auditorium like he did to the other class room would be such a waste of time.

'nope.. If I break the door it will make a sound and blah blah blah...' He realized it would be a bad idea, even if he is immune to the Virus his brothers are not.

'tsk- ill just break in through a first floor classroom then head inside' Kain made a plan and he jumped.

"crash"

He broke yet another window-

Kain stared at the classroom, and just like any ordinary classroom this one was filled with rows of desks and chairs. He ignored it all and walked out, then started walking through the hallway looking for the stair.

"arghhh"

"grrrree"

"rggggghhhhh"

Well.. at least tried to- but unlike the other building this one had quite a few students on the first floor, at least 20 were in his sight.

'At this point, these guys are nothing to me and they just reminded me of something.. Status' Kain suddenly called out, remembering how he hasn't seen his level since the first time.
