In the sea of emotions, who will give in first? ----------------- [EXCERPT] ‘ Kiss him! Kiss him! Kiss him! Kiss him! Kiss him! Kiss him!’ The hoe in me spoke up to kiss him. This made my chocolate nose twitch. I slowly got up to reach him, but my knees were already numb that it caused me to crash on his thigh, covered up with his white robe. Damnation! I'm so doomed. I raised my head to see those sharp-looking eyes staring at me in confusion. I felt something touching my cheeks. I think my cheeks are not on his thigh but his... Oh my goodness. I screamed inside of my head. I tug myself up in recoil. "I'm so sorry!" I'm so dead! My legs are still numb. I was about to stumble because of my numb knees but anxiously grabbed on his robe for support. He held me up. He was looking perplexed. "Ama, " his voice, hoarse, making it sound sexy. "You're still up?"

The Visitation

"Uhmmm!!!" Ama mumbles as she struggles to get up from wherever she is. She slowly opened her eyes to her widest surprise; she saw Lou sitting close to her. "Where am I?" She grumbles with her hand finding a way to her head. "Why is there a bandage around my head?" She asked. "And who are you?" She added, looking gross by Lou's presence.

"Ama. Are you awake? What do you mean by who am I? You're at the hospital," Lou replied, looking afraid by the thought of Ama's question.

"Who are you?" Ama asked again, this time in a violent manner.

"Ama. It is I, Lou, Louis Beauvilliers. Your best friend, remember? Did the name ring a bell?" Lou gradually gets up from the chair.

"I don't know anybody by that name!" She frowns. "Go away from me," She added.

"But...But Ama, it is me, Louis, your best friend. I need to get the doctor; what is going on? Why are you acting this way towards me?" He turns to walk away in a hurry, but suddenly, Ama burst out in a hilarious laugh.

"Lou..." She cracks harder at the reaction of Lou. "You should see your face right now!" She laughs harder.

"Amaaaaa!" Lou growls between gritted teeth as he walks back to Ama. "Are you mad?" He asked, his voice cold. "Don't you ever pull such stunt on me ever again!" He amplified.

"C'mon, Lou. I was playing with you, okay?" Ama giggled. Then, the realization hits her as she touches her head again. "What happened? Why is my head wrapped?" She inquired.

"You were nearly kidnapped, Ama." He replies sadly.

"What?" She yells in shock.

"Yes, Ama. A rapist nearly kidnaped you. But luckily, he couldn't succeed. A good Samaritan that was driving by saw the scenario and yelled for help, so the rapist flew. He didn't take anything from you; all your stuff is intact."

"Oh my goodness!" She grasps.

"Yes, Ama. The good Samaritan immediately called the cops and also the emergency unit. The cops stated that the rapist escaped from jail three days ago and had been on the run. It's started that his preys are always juvenile's and dark skin females too. But still, I thank God that you're here and safe!" Lou expressed.

"Did he get caught?" Ama asked, worried.

"No! He ran off immediately!" Lou said.

"Am I okay?" She sounds worried.

"Yes. You're okay. All the checks were done, and you don't have to worry; it's just a slight impact,"

"Since I'm okay, can I get discharged now? I wouldn't say I like the smell of hospitals. And you? How's your work going? You've been traveling here and there; I hope you're good?"

"Work is stressful, but it's okay anyway. I talked to Mrs. Dupont, and she's no longer angry. She also sends an apology word through me that she was so sorry," He said.

"It's okay. So, can we discharge now?"

"Ama, staying alone is not safe here in the Dijon district. Your family might think that we live together, but in reality, we don't. Why don't you come live with me in my penthouse? At least maids are there that you can chat with; they will also take good care of you in my absence!"

"It's okay, Lou. I'm OK; I'll be fine. I want to call the authorities concerning what has happened in the boutique I work. I don't want to go to work; I want an answer of why I am being framed for something I didn't do!"

"But...But Ama, you're hurt now. Why don't you rest first, then next week you'll talk to the authorities?" Lou tried to convince Ama.

She yells at him. "No. You can't convince me with that sugar lip of yours. I've already made up my mind."

"Okay then. Let me arrange your stuff so that I can take you home for you to eat and relax for the few hours that are remaining." He said as he stood up and started packing the food flask for Ama.

"Okay. Thanks so much, Lou, for all you do!" she smiles slightly at him.

"Stupid girl. Don't you give me that kind of look, okay?" He hisses. This made Ama chuckle.

An hour later, they both arrived at Ama's studio apartment.

"Ama, I've prepared your bed and also stalked the fridge so you won't need to get hungry first. I bought ice cream, your favorite flavor, mint chocolate, instant noodles, and so on."

"Oh, come on now, Lou, I didn't put to birth for righteousness' sake. Are you planning on feeding me till I turn into a chubby pig?" Ama murmurs from the toilet.

Lou giggles. "I'm just making everything comfortable for the likes of you, Ama. You tend to make others worry!" He said.

Ama walks out of the toilet as Lou clips his nose dramatically. "Go away! You stink,"

"Come and go now, Lou, since everything is okay now as you want it to be." She pushes Lou to the door.

Lou chuckles. "Okay, okay, I'll go now not because you want me to but because I've to attend to my pending jobs back home. Make sure to call me if you need anything, okay? Don't go through everything alone, OK? I'm always here for you!"

"Okay, Lou, thanks for everything once more," She said as she finally pushed him out of the room. "Please take care of yourself and make sure to message me when you get home, okay?" Ama yelled from the door for Lou to hear.

"Okay. Take care, don't forget, call me if you need anything. Okay?" He yelled back at her as he walked.

"Byeeeeeeee Lou!"

"Byeeeeeeeee Ama!"

Ama puts on a white robe with her head still on a bandage. She picks up her phone to the call of the delivery guy.

"Hello, my apartment?" She asked from the line. "Have you forgotten my address so soon?" She added. "Classy complex by the right, third floor. The studio apartment that is painted with white!" She added.

"Okay, Miss!" He replies from the phone.

She hung up and went to wash the dishes before the handsome delivery guy came.

In less than five minutes, A knock was heard from the door. Ama hurriedly rushed to the door as she peeps through the door hole to see that it was Morris, a tall, handsome guy with dirty blond hair and blue eyes. He stood at the door with his helmet in his left hand and the pizza in his right hand.

She opens up with a bright smile. "Hey!" She said shyly.

"Hello," He smiled. "What happened to your head?" He asked in concern.

"Nothing much, just a slight fall here and there, but I'm vital and alive!"

"Oh, okay, but I hope you're on medication?" He adds as he stretches the Pizza to Ama, who is blushing. "Please make sure to take good care of yourself."

"Oh, yeah, I will take care of myself and also you too, take care of yourself too,"

"Of course. See you soon. I need to start going now before my boss fires me!" Morris giggles.

'He looks so damn fine and way too innocent for his personality.' She thought.

"Su...Sure!" Ama whispers. "I'm sorry for always taking your time," She rests her head on the door.

"Yeah. It's okay; you're a beautiful lady living alone; make sure that you take good care of yourself, alright? Call me if you need my help, anything, I'll comply!" He scratches the back of his head shyly.

"Okay...Okay, thanks, Morris!" Ama smiled at him.

"Okay then, bye!" He said.

"Ye...yeah, bye-bye!" She waves at him as he turns to walk away, and she closes the door with an exciting smile on her face.

As Morris walked on the apartment corridor, he came with eye contact with Pierre, frowning so deadly at him. He bows slightly before they walk past each other.

Ama has started digging on another slice of pizza with a skimming smile on her face. She loves food so much to the extent; if you want to make Ama happy, get her food, different food, and even if you're going to make her be friends with you, get her tribal traditional food.

Suddenly, a knock was heard from the door. She frowns because she is about to take a bite from the slice of pizza before the knock on the door interrupts her from taking a bite.

"Uhm...who is there? Who might it be?" She gets up slowly from her seat.

She peeps through the door hole but yells at the Frowning face staring angrily at her through the hole.

'Why is Pierre here?' She thought with a startling face. She steps away from the door as her heart beats fast. 'Oh no, I look so terrible and unfit,'

Suddenly, her phone rings; it makes her cringe in shock at the buzzing of the phone that was not far from her. It was Pierre. He was the one that was calling.

"Ama Temil," Pierre yells from the outside. His voice was icy. "I know you're inside," He added.

She sighed as she walked back to the door and inhaled and exhaled sharply before she held the knot and twisted it open.

"Hey...Pier...Pierre!" She stutters, looking shyly away from his angry face.
