Forced!

"No! I will not!" A thunderous voice echoed, it was the prince, Ambrose Ren, yelling at his father.

It wasn't the first time that the prince yelled at his father, but this time, he seemed to be much angrier than the previous times he had a fight with his father.

"Don't you dare raise your voice at me young man!" Another voice, which was his father's, King Julius Ren.

Normally, anyone who was near the castle would shiver and tremble because of the noise, talk less of a person that was already in the castle.

"I said that I don't want to live with a woman!" Prince Ren yelled

"All your brothers are already married! you're the only one who's not yet, that has to change!" King Ren yelled back

"So? can't I be different!?" Ambrose asked, still frowning

"No! you can not! it is against our customs for you not to be married by now!" King Julius firmly said

Still breathing heavily, that seemed to shut Ambrose up and he sat down, massaging his temples as he tried to calm down

"Who is she?" He asked when he finally calmed down

"I don't know" King Julius replied, also calm

"How could you not know her!?" Ambrose asked, getting angry again

"I sensed there was a family or more specifically, there were parents who didn't mind giving their daughter out for a huge sum of money" King Julius replied

"Sensed? Well then, how much are you going to give to them?" Ambrose asked

"Thirty million" King Julius replied

"Thirty million?!" Ambrose asked, surprised

"Why are you surprised?" King Julius asked

"Like they deserve that, what kind of parents are they anyway? they don't even know who I am" Ambrose said

"I'll leave you now" King Julius said and went away

After he left, Ambrose got up and paced around for a while, then he angrily punched the wall and watched as he made a dent through his punch

"You know, if you keep up with this, very soon, this castle will be no more" Lucas, one of Ambrose's loyal followers said

"Don't start Lucas!" Ambrose said angrily as he gritted his teeth

"it's kind of weird though, Ambrose Ren, getting married" Lucas said

"I said, Don't. Push. It." Ambrose said, stepping closer to Lucas, his eyes slowly turning red

But Lucas didn't flinch even a bit, he was already used to Ambrose's rage, even though he felt Ambrose's aura, he wasn't scared at all, he only knew never to cross his boundaries when he was angry

*This girl better be well-behaved, unless, she's playing fire* Lucas thought to himself

~Rosetta~

I didn't know how to feel, I didn't know if I was meant to be nervous or excited. I mean, I knew nothing about the man I was getting married to and also, I didn't know how to take care of a house

My parents seemed to love the idea of me leaving them, how greedy!

I mean, I might not be the best, but I was still their daughter! I couldn't help but wonder at how they didn't even feel bad, not even a little bit!

I sincerely hoped that this man wouldn't make me regret obeying my parents.

*The wedding day

Ambrose was still fuming with rage so his eyes weren't the normal colour.

As he was standing at the other end of the aisle, he tried his best to control it so that someone far from him wouldn't notice it, but someone who was near him could still see the faint glow of red in his eyes.

People weren't invited so it was only Ambrose's dad and Rosetta's parents that were there.

As Rosetta's dad walked her down the aisle, he had a huge smile plastered on his face which had money written all over it, her mum wasn't any different, as she was grinning from ear to ear, her eyes were darting around, trying to get a glimpse of the bag of money that must be waiting for them.

It wasn't a joyful wedding and even the priest could feel the tension, he noticed that both the bride and the groom were not happy but the parents were all smiling

Nevertheless, the priest went on with the proceedings, then he named them husband and wife. No one danced as both of them walked back out of the reception, Alex's face was expressionless and Rosetta's face was gloomy

*After the wedding

Immediately the wedding was over, Mr. and Mrs. Ross went over to king Ren, infact, almost skipping in joy

They addressed him as Mister Sir, the reason being that they did not require for his name, all they asked for was the amount of money that he was offering them in exchange for their daughter

"Mister Sir" Miss Ross called

"Aha, there you are" King Ren said when he saw them

They both were smiling as they looked at King Ren as he was bringing bags full of money for them

Beaming with joy, they both collected the bags and put them in their car, when it was done, they drove off in Joy

Meanwhile, when Ambrose got to the car, instead of him to open the door for Rosetta, he walked straight to the 'JUST MARRIED' sign in front of their car, ripped it off with one hand and broke it into two, then he threw it over his shoulder and got into the car.

Rosetta, who was trying to take in what she just saw , stood there in shock, not moving, if not for the fact that she was standing and her eyes were open, someone would have mistaken her for a lifeless person

"Are you going to just stand there? or do you want me to drive off and leave you there?" Ambrose asked, without looking back.

That seemed to snap her back to reality and she got into the car, already scared of this man that she was now going to spend the rest of her life with.
