Nacht was traveling by hopping visible shadows one by one. One can say that he was an expert at hopping at this point. From hopping trees to now hopping shadows, he has come a long way.

His destination right now was Hage village, where the canon of the story starts. He wanted to see the infamous skull of the demon and the statue of the first Wizard King.

Nacht arrived a few kilometers North of the Hage Village and caught his breath. The shadow hopping took a toll on him right now as he didn't have his grimoire to channel his mana in a better way. He was wasting a lot of magic.

Using magic without grimoire wastes a lot of energy. It will be like throwing a bullet with a hand. Although the setup could work if you are a hulk (have an absurd amount of magic) like Nacht, it is still a waste of a lot of energy and recourses.

After a while of resting, he got up again as he saw a man come into his field of view. The man was cloaked, looked like he was injured and exhausted, and carried a baby. The man was limping and pushing himself forcefully as if he were on a dedicated mission.

Nacht's eyes widened in disbelief after he saw this. A scene from the Black Clover series passed into his mind. The boy was Yuno Grinberryall, and he was being carried by the 'side-character-maybe-I-don't-know' servant.

(This means that the Spade Kingdom is officially under the Dark Triad). He was thinking through the timeline as he absentmindedly stared at the limping old man with a baby.

{I sense a Devil's residual mana on that man} Gimodelo said with a serious tone.

Nacht affirmed this with a nod, (I have to be quick in my planning, the war between the Diamond Kingdom and the Clover Kingdom can start any day now)

Thinking this to himself, Nacht just went ahead to complete his tour, totally disregarding the old man. He didn't want to get involved with the main characters this early. He wanted to create a name for himself first.

And what better way to create a name than startin...~ participating in a war and showing off. Nacht also wanted to visit the most mysterious place of all, the Witch's Forest, where a damsel in distress is stuck. He wouldn't miss a chance to appear heroic.

After a while, Nacht arrived in the Hage Village, where the Demon Skull could be seen clearly. Upon it, the First Wizard King's statue stood.

The demon skull looked bigger than it was shown in the show; it was a genuinely bizarre sight. Hage was most probably the North-most village of the Clover Kingdom. Nacht was surprised that the place, which has such a significant historical presence, was just abandoned like crap.

All of the place oozed the generic Shonen protagonist origin vibe; if Nacht was the King, he definitely would have used this place for strategic advantage for the Spade Kingdom.

Maybe if this place was a tourist attraction or a military base, it would be a bit livelier. There was a sparse population and farms everywhere. Houses in the village were mostly tiny with not much craftsmanship.

One could see from afar that life was hard here. Nacht was randomly traveling through the village when he saw a church secluded with farms on each side. He recognized this church where Asta and others grew up in.

The old man he saw was about to come and drop his Kid inside this church this Night. He wasn't going to wait for him. But he was a bit interested in Richita's body. Show said that she sucks the life out of everyone she meets. Welp! that came out wrong.

Right now, the old man who was dying breath was about to reach the Hage village. He will probably arrive at next dawn

He was nearly at the end of his life and was surviving through sheer determination. He was given the job of transporting the prince to a safe location, and he was going to do his job with utmost reverence.

It has been a year or so since those devils were constantly haunting the Spade Kingdom. The devil worshippers called themselves as Dark Triad. They destroyed everything, and the beauty of the Spade Kingdom was demolished.

They filled the Kingdom with Devil Worshippers, which they called Dark Disciples. These thoughts were running through the old man's mind. But suddenly, as he entered the Clover Kingdom, he was stared at by an unnaturally powerful being.

(W-who is that) it was Nacht when he was looking at him intently. The old man sensed the presence of Devils in that man and was shivering and limping visibly. He was praying inside that the powerful entity ignores him and go away. He was in no shape to fight anyone.

After a while, the powerful entity left, leaving him shivering alone. He can only pray that his prince would be safe in the Clover Kingdom as he had never sensed anything like that in his entire long life.

He had no choice but to drop the prince somewhere safely. And he can't go far to avoid this place where he sensed 'it.' Feeling powerless, he continued to move for hours.

Being totally numbed and tired, on his last breath, he saw a church shining under the moonlight. Thinking it was a message from spirits, he used his last bit of magic to transport the basket to the church's door and died.

[A/N: I am really confused about the finer details of timeline and events. Licitia, which I found out was actually Richita, died a few years later after giving birth to Asta (lets say he was a toddler). Then why the fuck Lucifero spawned up when he already had a contractor (Dante) in the world?]

Fan Rant: And they also didn't revealed where she lived, just said that she lived away from people. Where? near Hage? I am considering she lived near Hage because the 5 leaf clover Grimoire appeared there and considering that 'clover' appeared on the grimoire, she was inside the Clover Kingdom.

Which makes me confused as why people didn't knew about her, the father of church must have saw some weird white haired lady someday, and the boy he was rearing looked 999% copy of her... hmmmmm... Am I missing something? Also, how did Orsi(father) breast-fed the two toddlers?
