1 Me-Lucas Flynn!?

I appear to have accidentally dozed off.

Hmm... How long have I been asleep?

Tok. Tok.

"Master, it's time to wake up."

An elegant and melodic voice caressed my ears, my eyes still struggling to shake off their drowsiness.

Who is speaking?

I live alone, don't I? It must be my imagination.

"Master, please wake up."

'No... No... I can really hear it; this isn't a dream.'

'Where's my blanket, and why am I lying here uncovered?' I rose from my bed, the gentle warmth of the sun on my face catching my attention.

'What?'

There can't possibly be sunlight in California during mid-December.

Ignoring the sudden strangeness, I leaped from my bed and threw open the curtains. The gentle rays intensified, fully awakening me and banishing the remaining drowsiness.

"Young master, I sense that you've awakened. Please prepare yourself as soon as possible."

"Today, you have an appointment with the young Lady of the Crystal family."

As the voice persisted outside, my body slowly moved toward the mirror.

'Who on earth is this?'

The man before me had snow-white skin, a physique capable of making most women swoon, and emerald eyes that perfectly complemented his blond hair and chiseled jaw. Yet, his eyes bore a darkness that lent him a pitiable appearance.

'Is this really my reflection?'

As I cautiously moved my hand, the man in the mirror mirrored my actions.

'Huh!?'

Where was my slightly sun-kissed skin, my black eyes, and the toned physique I'd worked so hard for?

I took a step back and accidentally landed on the incredibly soft, silky carpet. 'This carpet... it's worth more than a month's salary.'

A photograph caught my eye, featuring the man who now stood before me. It was me.

But I could tell.

He was... Lucas Flynn.

ANISELY LUCAS FLYNN

A villain from one of the best novels, no, my favorite novel.

[The Lost Heir]

Anisely Lucas Flynn was a mob villain, the perfect stepping stone for the protagonist, Kay Siegel.

The story kicked off with a fierce confrontation between Kay Sigel and a bully.

The overarching theme was vengeance, with young Kay losing his parents, being abandoned by relatives, and left with only his elder sister to rely on.

At the age of 16, tragedy struck again when his hardworking sister was tragically killed. That's when his journey of revenge truly began.

Unexpectedly, he uncovered his parents' hidden secrets, complicating his quest for vengeance.

In the last chapter of Season four, he finally avenged his family by killing the ultimate villain's son, Andrew Zach. That was where I left off.

Anisely Lucas Flynn, an unfortunate villain used and discarded by the hero in his pursuit of vengeance because he posed a constant threat.

'Why am I even saying this?'

But did I truly become Lucas Flynn?

The protagonist had a complex character, a defining trait the author had bestowed upon him, along with numerous bonuses after awakening as a hunter.

"Master, are you ready?"

The graceful voice snapped me back to reality.

"Just give me another 5 minutes."

With that, I dashed into the bathroom, toothbrush in hand, and turned on the shower.

'Sigh... why did I have to become Lucas Flynn of all characters?'

He was a wretched individual, constantly drunk and leading a debauched life every time he appeared in the novel. The Flynn family, one of the four conglomerates in Ardell country, controlled the dungeons in the northern region.

Anisely Lucas Flynn was the second child in the Flynn family. The firstborn perished in a plane crash, leaving Lucas as the heir. Due to his unsavory character, his father adopted another son, who mysteriously met his end, unexplained by the author.

In the later part of the story, the current head of the Flynn family, Jay Flynn, Lucas' grandfather, succumbed to a magical ailment. A week later, Lucas' father met his fate in a dungeon. Eventually, the nefarious Lucas met his end at the hands of Kay, his sister, who had gone on a vengeful rampage. Jay Flynn's niece, a pawn of Kay Siegel, took over as the head of the Flynn family.

I sighed as the automatic hairdryer dried my dripping wet hair.

Once I finished dressing, some strange sentences flickered in my field of vision.

'Is that the only skill I have?'

I lightly sprayed some cologne on my body, then covered the white shirt clinging to my toned abs with a black suit, stylishly styling my hair.

Before heading out, I gave myself one last once-over. A white shirt paired with a stylish black suit that draped to my lower limbs.

"..."

It looked impressive, but it felt oddly unfamiliar. When was the last time I dressed like this?

'Was it five or four years ago?'

I couldn't recall.

As I entered the dining hall, an elegant woman in her mid-20s was already waiting. Her facial features bore a striking resemblance to mine.

She was Nicole Flynn, a cousin of Lucas, the sister who went on a rampage after her brother's death—me, Lucas Flynn. She was one of the three individuals in this world who wanted me, a villain, to survive.

"How have you been lately?" She inquired as the food arrived, accompanied by a bottle of wine.

I felt an unexplainable urge as soon as I saw it. I had to finish that bottle; it was practically calling to me.

I refocused on the woman, still waiting for my response.

If I were the real Lucas, I'd probably say something like, "It's none of your concern!"

But I couldn't. She was one of the three people in this world who wanted me, a villain, to live.

"I'm doing well, sister," I replied, wearing my best smile.

Although I detected a slightly perplexed expression on her face, she quickly regained her composure.

"Is that so?" She poured some wine into a pair of glasses and offered one to me.

It would be impolite to decline, but "I'm sorry, sister. I won't be drinking wine today."

Nicole gave me a quizzical look before getting up and leaving the dining room.

"I'm departing now. Be sure to treat Miss Crystal kindly."

My hand instinctively reached for the wine glass, but I stopped myself.

'I won't lose myself. I won't let this ridiculous character take over.'

Slap!

I slapped myself.

Slap!

Again, I struck my own face and proceeded to finish the delicious breakfast on my plate.
