The Beginning

Meian eyed the candy store in front of her, she was mentally debating if she would get the candy over the chocolates across the street. The colorful and chewy candies was quite appeasing to her eyes but then she remembered the soft and milky treat with almonds. Meian adjusted her bag and decided she would get the latter. She took few steps on the pedestrian lane when suddenly she was blinded by a light coming from the truck on her right. It was moving too fast that she wasn't able to avoid the impact.

Boom-

Her body was sent few meters away, bone cracking and blood sprawled everywhere. Her vision was blurry and her mind in a haze. She couldn't feel her body anymore. She wanted to scream because of the unmentionable amount of pain but her voice is gone.

Recounting the event, she thought "Did I got hit?" Bewildered she couldn't believe it herself.

It was supposedly another fine and ordinary day but it wasnt. Meian could feel it. She knew that she was on the verge of dying. Some people approached her body and tried to help but it was useless.

"Hey everything's gonna be alright. Hang in there"

"Someone call an ambulance!"

"Dont worry help is coming."

Meian tried to listen the noise that surrounded her, worries from strangers and prayers for recovery. She wanted to laugh for their stupidity, there's no point of reassuring her.

"Fools." she mentally remarked.

Taking her last breath, she closed her eyes. Regret and Anger was the last emotion she felt.

"Fuck the world." This was her last words albeit only herself knew.
