1 To your new home

"someone catch that thief" a distinct voice shouted in a crowd where shiyi was taking a stroll some hours after running away from states and landing to jiangchen city.

Shiyi is cold but an upright person who loves justice as that thief came from back and was going to pass through shiyi. Shiyi extended her arm and hit it right at the acupuncture point of the thief's neck without even looking at him which made that thief fall on the ground immediately. she snatched the purse from the thief in a heroic way as everyone around her watched and clapped for her.

That purse belonged to an lady who was in mid forties. she had a fine face with an exquisite style and short hairs. She was out of breath because of running behind that thief and was panting at utmost centre of the road.

As shiyi reached towards her she saw a car coming towards that old lady with quite a speed so she took a quick reflex and pushed that lady at the side and "dumph.....creech....aaaaaahhhhh....creee...keee..ah"

she met an accident to save that lady shiyi came in front of the car herself but little did she know what was coming along with that lady.

4 hours later at Qilu hospital!!

Shiyi tried to open her fine Blue eyes which were engraved beautifully and barely recognized the surroundings. She looked around and saw a beautiful room covered with expensive furniture and a rather comfortable bed and some hospital equipment around her which looked like a presidential suite if there wasn't any equipments in the room.

"oh my god!you're awake" and then there was a familiar but unfamiliar voice. shiyi looked around and saw that old lady whom she saved and she was looking at shiyi with tint of joy in her eyes .

"doctor! come and check she is awake" that lady exclaimed.

"what's your name!? dear!.... I am Ning jian!! ...thank you for saving me if it wasn't for you i don't know what would've happened to me" she started talking with mixed emotions on her face representing her gratitude and worry towards shiyi.

"uhh...excuse me where am I?" shiyi asked that lady

"Oh my dear, you are at hospital! you were hurt so brought you here"

"hurt? where??" shiyi panicked after hearing that and then there was a voice " It's not much but you just got a small injury at your forehead and it will be completely fine in few days." and it was the chief doctor.

"you look young! do you want me to call your family?" Ning jian said and shiyi nodded in a state of no as she was a runaway and if she called her family they would have taken her back to the states.

"You look bad!!..tell me honestly! did you ran away from your home?" ning jian said to shiyi with a half smile and shiyi was shocked to hear that how'd she knew? seeing the shocked reaction at shiyi's face ning jian said " I know it from my experience"with a little devil smile.

"Judging from your looks! You look noble. It must've been.....due to....umm.. of course a marriage .. right? A ...business marriage?? right" she said while joining her hands with a loud noise.

"OH! I am so sorry my dear for you" ning jian exclaimed without giving shiyi a chance to explain.

Shiyi had a idea at that very moment that if she could get a shelter under ning jian's for few days it would be good because if she went to a hotel her family would be able to track her down.

So she nodded at ning jian with a blank face as what she said was somehow right. she ran away from her home because she didn't want marry but it wasn't a business marriage because shiyi's family.

They wanted to marry her due to the incident that happened almost two years ago!

Shiyi replied to ning jian with an innocent look" yes!! they wanted to marry me off to a stranger so i ran away from home" with some drops of tears falling out of her eyes.

"Oh! you poor thing!! you saved me so why don't you come to my home and live with me?" with a motherly look ning jian told shiyi but she had an ulterior motive which wasn't too selfish [but don't worry ning jian has the best motherly and friendly nature in this whole novel]

ning jian was mesmerized by shiyi's beauty. shiyi had perfectly fine skin tone with beautifully engraved nose and blue eyes with perfect lips and a appropriate body proportion like an angel fallen from heaven directly at earth.

Ning jian was impressed with shiyi's personality despite knowing her for some few hours and wanted her to become her daughter-in-law regardless her background as she didn't cared about it because she was the wife of chairman of Qilu group who was in top business line in jiangchen city.

"can I?" shiyi asked ning jian about her offer to live with her.

"of course!!"

"thank you so much!! but..... won't i trouble you and your family?"

"No! not at all my husband is really grateful to you for saving me and he is generally on business trips so he won't mind and i only live with my son who seldom comes at home. It would be great for me to have someone to live with me and finally i will have a daughter" ning jian said while patting shiyi's head and with a joyous smile.

"thank you so much! I' ll be really grateful to you"

"OH! its no problem. let me ask the doctor about your discharging process and then I'll take you to your new home"

and then ning jian turned around and "ahhh..ahhh"

she got scared because doctor was standing there from last 10 minutes minutes whom shiyi and ning jian ignored and had forgotten about him standing there!! and he was looking at both of them in a disappointment which looked really funny.
