VICTOR

He felt the pain again. The pain he had felt the day Angelina was put into a coma. Except for this time, he had stronger feelings for her. He knew it was just a silly crush, but it felt like the world had turned against him. He had been having these thoughts bottled up in him for weeks, and finally, today was his breaking point, they were all now released. A crushing sensation fluttered through his limp body. His head swarmed with dark thoughts, but at the same time, it was empty and had no activity. Was this how depression felt? It was worse than he thought. He wanted to run away from it all, away from his thoughts, away from reality. He was glad no one asked if he was okay. He would say no, then he would burst into tears insisting he was okay over and over. Of course, they wouldn't believe him and rush to comfort him, maybe that was what he needed. No, he didn't need comfort, he needed Angelina to be okay.

He had been lying in bed for probably two or more hours. He had lost track of time. Victor couldn't possibly go to sleep. His eyes burned from sleepiness, yet, he was not sleepy. How could he possibly sleep? He didn't know why he was so emotional towards the situation. It wasn't his choice, it was his body's. It just wouldn't let him sleep. How long would it take for his body to respond to what he wanted? He tried to go to sleep because he knew he had training in the morning, and he only wanted to go to sleep only for that reason. He wanted to scream at his body to go to sleep, but he had no energy to.

The next thing he knew, his tent grew lighter and lighter by the minute, the sun was coming up and he hadn't slept at all. Not a single second. He could hear mumbles and people moving around outside. Victor didn't even want to think about training.

The flap to his tent opened and Chloe peeked in.

"Hey, why aren't you ready? Woah, you look terrible!" She exclaimed.

"Thanks for the compliment." Victor answered, his voice hoarse.

"I didn't mean it like that... Did you even sleep?" Chloe apologized, examining the bags underneath his eyes.

"Nope, not even a second." Victor groaned, attempting to get up, failing.

Chloe rushed into his side, "You're pale!"

She set her hand on his forehead, "You're running a fever!"

Chloe rushed out of the tent then came back with Shawn and Analia. Analia went over to Victor's side. Shawn stood near the flap, crossing his arms.

"I know what to do. I've seen it before." Analia said.

"What is it?" Chloe asked. She looked worried.

"It's a mental and physical illness, there's no name though. The illness makes your body restless and causes your mindset to disappear. It may make you feel like you will break at any moment. It is common here."

"That explains my mood perfectly."

"Well, then you have it." Analia said.

"How long will it last?" Shawn asked, unamused.

"I don't know." She said, closing her eyes then opened them after a minute. "There's nothing that says how long."

"What's the cause?" Shawn asked.

"Most commonly losing someone close to him. But in Victor's case, I would suggest the stress from Angelina's condition."

"Is there any way to cure it?" Chloe asked.

"Not on record there isn't." Analia answered, closing and opening her eyes once again. He stared at her in confusion.

"Why do you keep closing your eyes?" Victor asked weakly.

"My power is knowing everything and having records in my mind, I close my eyes and search my brain for the information I want and need. I also have a special gift where I can contact every single Elysian god, Shawn has that power too." She informed them.

"That explains a lot, you know with the eye closing and whatnot," Victor replied.

She nodded her head and went out of the tent, Shawn following. Chloe stayed for a minute, looking at him, then eventually went out of the tent for training.
