When you hear forest, what would you imagine? A very big piece of land with trees all around, where wild animals live their life and have a natural cycle of life? only trees till the eye can see?
or maybe a small forest that you though to be big because it´s where you lived all your life since you were a kid or were born?
Then I´m sorry to say you imaged it wrong, completely wrong. I mean you wear also right, but only with the trees, that trees stand on a piece of land made of dirt and you can´t see the end of it... wait, that´s not so wrong when you think about it, But that's only if you oversee that some trees are big, like really big, some towering over the clouds, while some others look as small as ants, even when they are so small if you look closely then you will see that they are indeed fully grown, with some even bearing fruits.

But there are also creatures you might not know, things you might not even imagine in your wildest dreams, something like the Gogaco. Gogacos are in general dragons without wings, four tails and can shot plasma through there bellybutton, but here is the thing, they are also plant-type monsters the size of 1 meter, they come out of the soil and with their tails they consume mag... Huh, let´s say for now... they are absorbing something out of the ground that, till now, was not mentioned in that form, even if you know it, the MC doesn't know yet that something like this even exists in this world, because he is to dumb to ask the system.
Okay, back to the topic at hand, Gogacos absorb some type of energy out of the ground, it powers his attacks and that can end deadly for even things a lot stronger than it because if used as a sneak attack, it will make a lot of damage. ohh, almost forgot because it is a dragon-plant type monster it can heal itself up at the cost of a few seconds.
As I said, there are really weird Monster and not only a few but redder to much count.
You might ask, why tell us soooo much information on trees and monsters?
First, it´s an important word filler and second, there is a 3-meter wolf with dark blue fur and lightning yellow eyes running in the outskirts of the forest and is fighting exactly these gogacos, 2 gogacos to be exact.

Because it´s two wolfs, one normal, the other might be a beast, but still only a low-level beast, against two dragon-plant-type mid-level beasts, it will prove to be difficult, you know.
