1 Prologue

'Twas five years ago when the notorious assassin disappeared after killing the mayor of a well-known city, NoVille.

The executioner was at large for one whole year, annahilating everyone who were later traced to be involved in the murder of the prestigious family in the same city.

The work were so clean that even the most brilliant investigators weren't able to find any leads that could pin the slayer down, not until a survivor emerged from his shadows.

Although he didn't get a glimpse of the assassin's masked face, he saw its eyes—its pretty purple eyes, thus, naming the slayer, Devil's Helmet.

Just like the devil's helmet, whose reputation for death goes all the way back to the ancient times, everyone who came in contact with the slayer died, including the ones who benefited its work.

Before the city got emptied, all of the sudden, the slayer disappeared just in time when the eccentric detective arrived to take over the case.
