CHAPTER START---

Screams echoed throughout the city of Orario this night dozens of adventurers awoke in pain, the feeling of a white-hot branding iron on their skin.

Within the walls of Twilight Manor(Loki HQ), a young elf girl falls out of bed screaming and crying. The entire hallway of her dorm hears her screams and rushes into her room to see her crying and rolling on the floor of her shared room.

Adventurers rush to the Aid of Elfy Colette as she bawls on the floor. To their horror, a red tattoo appears to be steaming on the back of her right hand. The image depicted is the head of a Ram with its large curved horns as if it were charging. ( Dodge Ram logo 0_0) As the image continues to sizzle one of the older adventurers composes herself and finally gives an order "Someone help me take her to Loki!"

Within the male dorms of the Loki familia the same situation is occurring, this time with Raul Nord being restrained as he is carried to Loki's office.

As both groups arrive at Loki's office, to their surprise she is already up and awaiting them outside her door. As they approach she simply leaves the door open after she walks into her office.

"Loki something's wrong"

"Just set them down on the floor, step back," Loki says as she moves to inspect them. 'Damn it'

"EVERYONE OUT! DON'T TELL ANYONE ABOUT THIS!" she commands to her adventurers who quickly excuse themselves.

Further inspecting the marks the goddess comes to the clear conclusion, "What the fuck is wrong with him, to actually go this far, for that bitch!"

As she ponders what to do she can only sit back and watch as her adventurers lay on the floor wreathing in pain as the mark takes hold.

Across all of Orario, gods and their children were having this same experience, anger, horror, confusion. Many did not know what this meant, for those who did, they absolutely dreaded what came next.

The goddesses Freya looked on as Van howled in pain before her with indifference on her face, the half-Pallum man experienced such horrible pain yet his goddess did not care, to his knowledge Freya loved him, yet within her mind she could not be happier, she had almost become impatient waiting for this night. 'Whats a pawn for a knight? Hm, I'm surprised Orcus only took 1 from me'

On the other side of the city, outrage echoed throughout the halls of Apollo's manor, the god was in a frenzy because of this, "How dare he, he has no right!" he screamed as members of his familia cried out from the pain of their marks in a nearby room.

The gods of Orario for the first time felt truly vulnerable, those who were not aware at least, one such god stood at the window of her office in a nightgown as Tsubaki tried to care for the adventurers on the floor of the office. 3 members of her familia lay before her in pain, but her thoughts weren't focused on them. She knew this cannot be stopped once it begins, that's why she is already thinking ahead. 'Ouranos is gonna have a lot of explaining to do, if Orcus wasn't a primordial I'd send him back to our realm myself' Looking back at her familia being tortured by pain on the floor her face hardened out of rage before one thought crept into the head. "Yang"

---Dungeon floor 25...

"ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

Screams echoed out across the lakes and small forest. The water ripples and slowly withdrew as if scared of the source of the noise. Magic overflowed outward as from a hole in the floor a massive pillar of flame shot to the roof of the dungeon. The earth around the pillar ripples like waves as it melts and is pushed away as well. The open grassland this hole was made in is now reduced to a molten disaster, the entire treeline is pushed back almost 100m and any earth that isn't melted is simply gone. Winds howl and carry the scent of scorched air all across the floor. Smaller monsters can be seen flying, running, and swimming away as far as they can, for likely the first time in this area the monsters retreat downwards to the lower floors. The trees that are nearby beginning to lose their lush green as they are dried and crumble away against the harsh winds. The atmosphere becomes quickly saturated in areas as the surface of nearby pools are instantly evaporated only to be dried even further as raging winds carry the heat of the flames further outward.

This goes on for almost 20 minutes before it finally calms down. The small area the campsite was located at is just short of being terraformed into a volcanic environment. The nearby pools are completely evaporated and collapsed as streams of molten rock flow into the basins and begin rising. Within the hole that acted as the base of the flame pillar, a burnt, almost charred body can be seen with flames and lightning dancing around it. Eyes open but hollow as the immense pain continues, mouth open, screaming with no voice as the pain continues

Slowly Yang regains his sense of reason as the pain continues, unable to move his dry charred body he succumbs to the immense pain and lack of mana, for the first time he has truly lost control.

---1 hour later...Dungeon Floor 25...

The Loki familia team can be seen trudging their way toward the 18th floor passing through the water city.

Riveria: Stop.

Finn: What is it?

Riveria: can't you feel it, lots of magic was here. Over there.

As Riveria points to a destroyed part of the 25th floor the group moves closer to the area, to their surprise. In the small area, it's raining. Unheard of in the dungeon.

Lefiya: Weather magic maybe?

Tiona: Looks like a volcano went off. But rain?

Finn: Look at the pools, they're gone, the water is falling back down, that's all.

Riveria: Something destroyed the pools and left. This damage isn't normal, the monster rex isn't back yet so maybe a rare spawn happened.

Finn: That's likely the case.

Bete: Smells burnt, ugh.

Tiona: Obviously it's a volcano.

Bete: No I mean burnt flesh, monsters disappear when they die, this scent is staying.

Lefiya: That means, someone died here.

Finn: Most likely, or got seriously hurt. Let's head to the guild and see if anyone has reported this.

As the Loki familia slowly left the area, even Bete couldn't hear the screams of Yang in a hole slowly filling with rainwater, but who could really blame him, with the molten rocks cracking and sizzling and a man screaming for help after losing his voice wouldn't be heard by anyone. Yang slowly waiting for the hole to fill up as drops of rain fell onto him from above. Deep within a 25ft deep hole he simply waiting for this molten grave to fill up as he finally stops fighting, mage armor finally falling allowing the new mark on his hand to be seen, and gives in to mind zero.
