Passing Wind

The blizzard had left hours before and Amora dressed herself in a thick jacket, snow pants, boots, a hat, and gloves. She had something she wanted to see, something that would make her feel a bit better.

She walked outside and flopped backward in the deep snow, just laying there calmly. Aya also exited the house and slipped on the last step, flying into the snow as well with a scream. This made Amora laugh.

After messing around in the snow, she began through the forest, looking at the pond, which had lightly frozen over.

"We have got to ice skate on it when it gets thicker! That'd be fun!" Aya suggested, to which Amora quietly agreed.

The pond was bringing back memories of Andrew, so she left the pond quickly.

Amora hadn't heard much from Shirley after she was told of Andrew dying. Amora assumed that Shirley was mad at her and just left it alone. She was glad that Aya was okay, and she still had someone to be with, although Cole was there, she didn't exactly know what to think of him. He was just... there.

"Well, this has been quite fun already, want to build a snowman? It'll be funnnn~" Amora agreed to Aya's idea, not realizing that the bad thoughts had left her mind.

They built a snowman and Aya handed Andrew's winter hat to Amora, which she placed on top of the snowman.

"Look, it's a snow Andrew!" Aya said, laughing. For once, after hearing his name, Amora didn't cry, but smiled instead.

"Yeah. What a cute snowman." Amora replied, remembering the good things about Andrew.

Cole watched Amora and Aya building a snowman. It was peaceful and calm. Knowing he couldn't help Amora much, he left it to Aya.

While watching them build the snowman, he began to remember something Aya asked him when they were alone.

"Do you hate Andrew?" She asked, looking a little sad.

"No. I believe what he did, was wrong, but he was just a teenager, he fed me often, but would get angry if I argued with him or tried to escape. He was just following his grandfather's commands. A sort of puppet, with emotions." Cole said, almost poetically.

"Yeah, I always thought he was an idiot. Picking fights, but he was funny, it was fun to mess with him and pillow fight with him-" Aya's voice trailed off as tears began to fall from her eyes. "He didn't deserve to die... and Amora accidentally killed him, they were really close... it just... isn't fair!" Aya said, her voice cracking as she continued to sob and weep quietly, as to not wake Amora.

"Yeah, he was just a normal boy, who was stuck with some bad situations." Cole said, keeping his eyes on the snowman the two had made.

Clover, Avian, and Alex all met at Leon's house. Meeting to talk about their next plan in hunting the killer of Cody down.

"He's dangerous. We need to take caution when in a crowd or public areas. From Cody's description of the guy, he is about 5'11 and had black hair, his eyes are a purplish color, and if they begin to glow, you must look away. His eyes will bring great fear. It is an eye element." Leon announced, with everyone staring seriously.

"Wait... wait... how do you know of this information, and what is an eye element?" Alex asked, obviously clueless.

"Cody recorded it all before he died, which was automatically set to send to us if the phone was destroyed, and an eye element, is a newer thing as well. Elemental crystals have been sending waves of energy to the wrong body parts in some Elementals, and giving them stronger abilities. For example, this killer's element is not to scare people, but yet the energy that channeled to his eyes, made a liquid inside, and he is now able to use an eye element for an element he doesn't have." Leon explained to all of them, while Avian wrote down notes, and Alex stared intensely at this new information.

Clover brought up the video once again, to which Alex shivered at the thought of.

"So, did we get a good look at his killer in the video or not?"

To which Leon quickly responded, "No. He showed up for a single frame, but it is too pixel-y to fix or enhance. So we will have to continue following the killer while we can."

And with that final response, they moved into the living room and Leon began structuring a plan and an alert to them all.

"Cody planted a tracker on the man, and from what I can tell, he had been in a location every day for hours at a time." Leon said, pointing to the TV, which had a map currently up with a red dot on an abandoned building.

Amora's thoughts had returned to the strange killer that killed Cody and almost killed Jackson. Who was he? Was he watching them now? These thoughts almost killed Amora, it was scary to think of someone as powerful as to kill Cody would be nearby. Amora looked around anyway, seeing nobody, so she plopped back down on the steps with Aya.

"I think the steps would be a little more comfortable without the snow." Aya mentioned, standing up and starting to try to push the deep snow off of the steps, right when an idea came to Amora.

She let a small burst of fire out of her palm and melted the deep snow on the steps, then using air to blow the water and small chunks of ice left off of the steps. It began soon freeze over, Amora then used fire to melt a little and pick the ice off of the steps.

"Smart. Now we can sit down comfortable and not slip on the way in or out of the house!" Aya said, making Amora feel useful. The sky was cloudy, but the sun slightly shone on them.

"I'll be right back, I just want to be alone in the forest for a bit." Amora said, walking off without a reply from Aya.

Once in the forest, she wandered into the old church, which had been still nearby.

The roof was burned off from Amora's fire and there was blood where Reyon and Leon had killed the old man. Heading into the basement, which was dark and creepy, and was illuminated by Amora's fire, which was phasing from her palm through her gloves, which she learned were Element-Safe Gloves.

She found where she had killed Andrew and got onto her knees, for the first time in her life, she prayed for someone. She then looked around and could see Andrew's blood still on the floor, dried up.

Amora looked into a barrel and found water, it was clean, and so she drank some with her hands, until she tasted blood. She could see some blood floating around and almost puked. Had she known that Andrew's blood was floating in there, she'd have left it alone.

She collapsed and could see a screen in front of her, showing a quick flash of someone's life... it was Andrew's... up to the last moment. The TV flickered off and Amora woke up.

She stood up quickly and brushed the dirt and dust off of her clothing. She turned around and could see a figure staring at her, their purple eyes illuminating the surrounding dark.

"Hello there... nice to meet you... A-m-o-r-a."
