Another Problem

After running into the man with the glowing purple eyes, Jackson began to search for Amora and Aya, wanting to put distance between him and the man.

Upon going back to where Andrew was defeated, he could see Aya and Amora sitting by Andrew, who was now awake and glaring at Jackson.

He began to walk up when suddenly he was back to where the man was, the man was also there and looked around, realizing he was there before as well.

Jackson ran to Amora and Aya once again, they too looked confused and Jackson began running toward them, blinking only once, but after his eyelids opened, he crashed into a man in the street. He was back to the same point again.

"The hell?!" He yelled, tripping on a cracked sidewalk and heading through another alleyway.

Someone grabbed onto Jackson, and he was pulled down, it was a drunk old man, and he began stabbing into Jackson. Jackson managed to fight him off, but more people came and began beating him up, as a brick was thrown at his face, he closed his eyes.

He waited for the pain, but all the pain from the stabbing and punching were gone.

He was once again, back with the man.

Jackson wanted to yell at the man, thinking it was him, but the man's look of confusion only proved otherwise.

Jackson walked slowly back to Amora and Aya, seeing Andrew awake again.

Before he could make it however, he was once again put back in time.

The civilians who were pulled back had no reaction, as if they couldn't remember as Jackson could.

Someone bolted out of the crowd and tackled Jackson, they kept hitting him with some blunt object.

"Hey! Stop it! Stop i-"

"Whew, that guy was creepy, I have to get back to Amora and Aya." Jackson said, having no memory of the events that had just occurred, in fact... nobody did.

Walking into the alleyway, Jackson felt a strange sense of Déjà vu.

"Hey." Jackson said, as Aya, Andrew, and Amora were all complaining of the Déjà vu as well.

"Well, Andrew. What did I tell you?" Amora whispered.

"Yeah yeah, I'm sorry Jackson." Andrew said, obviously forced into saying it.

"It's fine, thanks." Jackson said, avoiding another unnecessary fight.

Aya lead everyone back to the cars, and they waited inside, with Andrew and Amora in one and Aya and Andrew in the other. While waiting for Reyon, Leon and Cody to arrive back at the cars, so they could leave, Aya began speaking to Jackson.

"Heyo. What do you think of... Void_Springs?" She asked, obviously combining their two usernames together.

"Huh? What do you mean?" Jackson asked, blushing and sweating.

"I mean I like you, want to get together?"

Jackson had been asked out a lot at school, but this time was different.

"I mean... yeah. I do!" Jackson said, barely squeezing the words out as he spoke, still bright red.

She smiled and kissed his cheek gently, almost like a small pluck from the angels.

"Whew, that wasn't so difficult, I really expected you to say no!" She began expressing her other worries as Reyon and Cody entered the car.

Reyon started the car and they were off. Not even ten minutes later, and Aya was asleep, her head lightly rested on Jackson's shoulder. Jackson too fell asleep, after staring outside for some time.

Andrew displayed his disliking of Jackson to Amora, with her listening and calmly explaining how it looks to her.

"It just kinda looks like you are---jealous?" Amora said, expressing her true thoughts.

"Wha-"

Before Andrew could continue however, Amora began speaking seriously.

"You're jealous of the attention he is getting, how he is talking to me, how he just randomly appeared and caught mine and Aya's attention, am I right?" Amora asked, looking down at her legs.

"Yeah... it is." Andrew replied solemnly, also telling her of the other things he is afraid of.

"I just get the feeling he may try to take you away or be against us." Andrew said, looking outside now.

Amora's eyes darted from the floor to Andrew. She began wrapping her arms around Andrew, slowly smiling.

"He won't take me away, I'm pretty sure him and Aya will get together soon. Don't you think they'll be perfect?"

Amora's happiness seemed to spread to Andrew, and he agreed. Changing the subject and happily talking about some things they did in school that was embarrassing.

"Aww that's not that bad!" Andrew exclaimed loudly.

"Yes it was! I was so embarrassed! The look on everyone's face was traumatizing!" Amora said, squinting her eyes in cringe.

This continued for a while, with them telling something like Amora's and then trying to help each other forget it.

Tavan woke up and sighed, looking around sadly. Still worrying about Shirley, and he wouldn't know where she was until Cody returned to Hexcorp, since he had the only knowledge of her location.

"Are you okay honey?" Tavan's wife asked, to which he positively replied with a yes.

After leaving his bed to use the bathroom, he headed downstairs and got some coffee. Even sitting down at the table and scrolling through his phone.

On Instabook, he could see Amora's post with Aya.

This reminded Tavan of when Amora first came to his house with Shirley. She had known so much about Leon, Reyon and himself that he didn't even know.

She followed his social media account way before she met him, and she had kept asking so many questions about Leon and Reyon every time she came until she was around 13.

"Such a good kid. She was a fan of theirs, and I promised to show her to them at some point, but decided against it because it'd only bring them pain to see a young girl, after all... they did lose their daughter." Tavan had told himself as he stared at the image.

He powered off his phone and waited outside for any sign of Hexcorp or Shirley.
