As a producer, TMY had always preferred to remain behind the scenes, and very few people in the industry had ever caught a glimpse of her in person, including Yang He. Well, there was that one incident involving Song Ziyin, but that was an exception.

However, this time, the label had made a reasonable request that required a face-to-face meeting. Such matters couldn't be resolved adequately through online communication alone.

Perhaps this could mark a new chapter in TMY's career.

Speaking of Song Ziyin...

Miaoyi couldn't help but shudder at the thought of joining Song Ziyin's girl group. The memories of that experience were still fresh in her mind.

After careful deliberation and numerous discussions, Miaoyi and Qiuying finally decided to visit East Records. Qiuying calmly purchased two business class tickets for the following day, ensuring their comfort during the journey, then they both approached their homeroom teacher to request time off.

Since Lin Ruofang, the class leader, was on extended leave, Miaoyi took on most of the class responsibilities. Due to their frequent absences and history of extended leaves, the teacher initially hesitated to grant them more time off. However, as luck would have it, their departure fell on a Friday, meaning Miaoyi would only be away from her duties for a single day.

With everything settled, the night passed swiftly, giving way to the arrival of a new day.

Unfortunately, Qiuying had booked tickets for a 6:30 a.m. flight. Although Miaoyi had recently adjusted to an early sleeping and waking routine, when Qiuying dragged her out of bed before dawn at 4 a.m., Miaoyi felt as if her soul had abandoned her body and ascended to another realm.

She must have died. This had to be her personal hell...

"Just let me sleep a few more minutes..." Miaoyi attempted to protest, but Qiuying shook her, returning her to reality. With her eyes still heavy with sleep, Miaoyi couldn't bear to leave the warmth of her cozy sanctuary.

"But they have already arranged today's events. If you don't hurry, we might miss the flight!" Qiuying replied with a hint of exasperation in her voice.

Damn it-

"MMP!" Miaoyi rolled away from Qiuying, holding her blankets closer.

"Why on earth did you book such an early flight? Couldn't you find one at a more reasonable time?" Miaoyi grumbled, covering her head with the blanket. In a tired and complaining tone, she added, "Even if it were around 8 or 9 a.m., it would still be manageable!"

Qiuying cast a slightly condescending look at Miaoyi, who had buried herself under the covers. She responded calmly, "It all depends on availability. You can't expect flights less than 24 hours apart to have vacant seats still. Alright, now be a good girl and get up quickly."

"Fine, fine..." Miaoyi reluctantly muttered, knowing that resistance was futile.

With her head hung low, Miaoyi reluctantly emerged from the cozy sanctuary of her bed, letting go of the warmth that had enveloped her. Breakfast seemed like a luxury they couldn't afford in their rushed state. After Miaoyi got up and freshened up, both she and Qiuying hastily grabbed a few slices of bread and stuffed them into their mouths before heading out, each carrying a small backpack. They knew they would only be away for a few days, so they saw no need to burden themselves with heavy luggage.

Despite her grogginess, Miaoyi couldn't help but notice the unyielding excitement shining in Qiuying's eyes. And at that moment, Miaoyi felt that it didn't really matter. They were going on this journey together, and she saw it as an opportunity to accompany her dear friend.

Qiuying's outfit for the day exuded a charming and youthful aura. She wore a cute pink velvet hoodie that accentuated her figure, paired with simple jeans, giving her the innocent allure of a schoolgirl, radiating the purity and freshness of youth.

On the other hand, Miaoyi had chosen a different style for the day. She was wearing a dress...

While admittedly, she had started to become more comfortable in such loose-fitting clothing, she had never worn one like this in public before!

This was something Miaoyi had frequently lamented about. Among her assortment of clothes, she only had four items she felt comfortable wearing!

But as this was an important enough trip, she was convinced to wear a nice, but *reasonably* modest dress.

Unsurprisingly, as the two of them took a taxi to the airport, they attracted frequent attention. Not only were they naturally good-looking, but they were headed to an important meeting, so of course, they wore their best clothing. This made them stand out significantly more than usual.

Upon arriving at the airport, they found themselves right on schedule. After completing all the necessary procedures, passing through security, and boarding the plane, it wouldn't be long before they took off into the sky.

Time flew by swiftly, just a matter of a few hours. The flight from the bustling Magic City landed smoothly in the heart of China: the majestic Imperial Capital, Beijing.

Two well-dressed passengers exited the plane. After following the stream of passengers off the plane, one of them, a girl with light blue, waist-length hair and wearing a dress, appeared somewhat dispirited. She yawned a few times as if she hadn't gotten enough sleep and was still struggling to wake up fully. The other girl held her hand, providing comfort and support.

There was no doubt that these two were Miaoyi and Qiuying, who had just disembarked from the plane.

As they stepped off the aircraft, Qiuying lightly tapped Miaoyi's arm, engaging in a silent conversation. After a brief discussion, Qiuying took out her phone to check the navigation and locate the exact headquarters of East Records.

In truth, it wasn't that no one from East Records had come to pick them up. Miaoyi had expressed her reluctance to be greeted by anyone. As China's premier electronic music label, East Records would undoubtedly make all necessary arrangements, but Miaoyi declined their offer.

When the two of them arrived at East Records, the towering skyscraper that loomed before their eyes was awe-inspiring. While Qiuying observed the surroundings, Miaoyi eagerly tugged at her arm, leading the way into the building.

"The electronic music culture here seems to be thriving," Miaoyi remarked with great interest as they stepped foot inside, her gaze wandering curiously in every direction.

The exterior of the building erected by East Records lacked any distinctive features that would make it stand out. At first glance, it appeared to be a run-of-the-mill commercial structure, except for the unique East Records logo proudly displayed atop its facade.

However, once Miaoyi stepped foot inside, she was immediately captivated by the striking contrast.

The lobby had been meticulously designed, exuding a grandeur that demanded attention. Intriguingly arranged, it boasted various display booths scattered across the open spaces, each showcasing various electronic music equipment. And these were no ordinary devices that could be easily explained.

Among the exhibits, one could find vinyl turntables once wielded by electronic music legends, imbued with an irreplaceable aura and deemed priceless. The collection also featured the "Machine King," a legendary piece of equipment with a storied history and state-of-the-art sound systems specifically engineered for professional use. Each item was a limited edition, a testament to their exclusivity and desirability.

"This is truly fascinating," Miaoyi murmured, her beautiful eyes sparkling with curiosity as she approached a slightly worn-out turntable, her fingertips delicately tracing its contours. As she read the accompanying description, excitement welled up within her: "The first-ever GLI PMX 7000!"
