[94] "Truth"

Two days passed quickly, and the boys' recovery was remarkable. Especially Jiwoo, who had only minor burns on his body. However, his right arm was still immobilized by the sling, and he was advised not to use it for a while.

Meanwhile, Jiyoung silently watches the confrontation, standing a little apart from them.

Suman raises his head to witness the confrontation and notices that Seokchull is already knocked out and unconscious on the ground, while Jiwoo approaches them in perfect condition.

Suman earnestly thinks to himself. 'Did this guy really beat Sucheon?'

"That's it, tidy up this mess," Jiyoung says, looking at Inhyuk and Suman. Then, he turns to Jiwoo and says. "Let's go to my office to talk."

Jiwoo, a bit nervous and with a flushed face, looks sideways at Jiyoung, sitting to his right in a different armchair.

"How's your arm?" comments Jiyoung, worried about her health.

"It's fine, it doesn't hurt as much as it used to," Jiwoo replies.

Jiyoung sighs and says. "Do you have any idea how dangerous that situation was?"

"I know," Jiwoo replies weakly, ducking his head.

"Mmm," Jiyoung mutters and adds. "This was Shinhwa's fault that they ended up in that state. If we had told them the truth, none of this would have happened."

Jiwoo is surprised and quickly replies nervously, in a warm voice. "No... no, I decided to fight him, you shouldn't take the blame alone."

"But... if you had known, you wouldn't have been in such a dangerous situation," Jiyoung comments apologetically.

"Really, I understand that you are doing your best to protect us, but we decided to face it and it's not all your fault. At least let us take some of the blame for what happened," Jiwoo says, blushing.

Jiyoung is surprised by Jiwoo's words and also blushes. He quickly coughs and changes the subject, saying. "I knew it was you who left the Klein's older brother so hurt, but you had to take a lot of damage to your body."

Jiwoo laughs innocently, scratching his head, and says. "It's a technique Ares taught me, but it seems my body can't resist it."

Jiyoung watches Jiwoo clench his left-hand fist and his face serious as he thinks. "His mentality has changed a lot since the first time I saw him." He then smiles and keeps his gaze fixed on Jiwoo.

The day passes quickly. Jiwoo and Jiyoung go out to buy food for them, Jisuk, Subin and Wooin, and then take them to the hospital.

Afterward, Jiyoung accompanies Jiwoo home.

At the headquarters, a powerful aura becomes present, immediately recognized by all as that of the chief.

Sucheon, gripped by nerves, did not utter a word and avoided eye contact with his father.

Supil kept his gaze cool and continued. "Answer me."

Sucheon clenched his fist and stated. "It was only because I was playing with him and didn't take him seriously. I got careless for a moment."

Without hesitation, Supil charged at Sucheon, sending him flying until he crashed into the wall, spitting blood.

"Are you telling me you let your guard down. You've let me down. How can I trust the leadership of Baekdu to someone who is inattentive at all times and so easily careless?", Supil expressed, coldly and angrily.

Sucheon, kneeling and struggling for breath, looked fearfully at his father and said with difficulty. "It won't happen again, I promise you."

"It better not, Sucheon," Supil replied angrily, releasing his aura again.

But a voice interrupted the tension, causing Supil to take a deep breath and let his guard down.

"Brother, what are you doing?" exclaimed Suman quickly as he saw Sucheon's condition and rushed to help him.

Supil looked at his younger brother without a word, then fixed his gaze on Suncheon, commenting. "Do you know what he did at the academy?"
