[82] "An unwanted visit"

The days passed quietly on the island, but the arrival of an unexpected visitor interrupted the peace that had existed until then. Jiwoo had a little chat with Han Seongik, who showed great interest in Ares' little brother. The conversation flowed normally and they enjoyed a pleasant moment together.

The next day, Kayden told Jiwoo a little about Han Seongik and how powerful he was.

The teachers also sensed the aura and their faces turned ugly, denoting concern.

Han Seongik, for his part, looked out the window with a serious but indifferent face, as if he was waiting for the visitor's arrival with complete calm.

Dusik asked him curiously, "Why did you decide to retire and retire in a place like this?"

Dusik's face suddenly changed and his expression became serious. "I heard something that I don't think is funny," he said with concern. "Is it true that non-affiliates will have the same conditions as affiliates?".

Dusik looked at Han Seongik in disbelief and anger. "Are you serious?" he exclaimed. "You don't know how difficult it has been to achieve our goals so far. Don't you realize that the unaffiliated could betray our nation at any moment, don't you remember what we have suffered to get this far?"

Han Seongik sighed with a serious expression on his face before replying. "That is precisely my job," he said firmly. "I will look out for the interests of this academy, both affiliated and unaffiliated."

Dusik frowned and a vein appeared on his forehead. "Do you think the other organizations were okay with what you're doing?" he asked in a defiant tone. "We've put a lot of effort into this, and we're not going to let you screw it up."

Han Seongik kept his gaze fixed on Dusik, his tone calm and confident. "As I told you before, this is my responsibility, and the other organizations have put me in charge of this institution," he explained with determination. "As such, I have the authority to establish the rules necessary for its proper functioning."

Han Seongik walked around the academy, pondering Dusik's words. He knew better than anyone that some of the unaffiliated had unusual backgrounds, and that although many of them remained hidden, but if they were revealed it would be a problem.

Meanwhile, Kayden continued to teach Jiwoo how to improve his force control and expand his abilities.

Dusik, still enraged by the situation in the academy, visited Sucheon's room and confronted him about his defeat against Jiwoo, with harsh words and threats, Dusik abused Sucheon, who cowered in fear at his intimidating presence. Then, Dusik did the same to Siyeong, who ran out of the room in terror, seeing a fat cat.

In the forest Siyeong releases his power and says with a devilish smile and a twisted personality.

"Filthy cat, this is the power of an awakened one, something you will never come to understand" said Siyeong.

The cat disappears in astonishment at Siyeong's presence, and at that moment, Kayden appears on Siyeong's shoulder, with both hands on his head and a wide smile on his face.

"That's how cats do things!" exclaimed Kayden with a grin.

Suddenly, lightning struck Siyeong and knocked him unconscious.

At that moment, another brown cat appeared and shot a beam of lightning straight at Siyeong's body. Although his skin appeared to be with burns, all his internal viscera were completely burned, causing his instant death.

"Why did you do that?" he asked, his voice astonished.

"Baekdu is not a good organization, and I don't have time to chase down every one of those ants that make it up. If it crosses my path, I will eliminate it without hesitation" Ares said before realizing the turn and walking away from the place.

Kayden sighed with a smile on his face and decided to follow Ares. As he walked, he couldn't help but agree with Ares' words. "Baekdu is not a good organization."

"I've known that from the beginning" Kayden commented.

Dusik received full information about Jiwoo from his members and they decided to invite him to join Baekdu. However, Jiwoo declined the offer and just as Dusik was about to take action, Subin and Jisuk appeared and interrupted him with news that worried him.

"We have to warn the other organizations, Baekdu is breaking the rules" Subin said in a serious tone.

Dusik was silent, pondering the possible consequences of his actions and trembling with anger for those guys.

Dusik was sitting in an office, with his legs crossed and two men at his back protecting him. In front of him, there was a square table with six instructors seated, three on each side, Dusik watched them with a serious expression on his face.

Dusik broke the silence with a firm and direct voice. "What do you think they are doing? Even if we call this an academy, it is not a school to teach everyone. It was built for a clear purpose, to improve the strength of the young people who will lead our country in the future."

"Non-affiliates who have not been properly vetted will get the same treatment as affiliates, how can that happen?" he exclaimed in a voice full of anger.

Giwook intervened and said. "Sir, there is a lot of talent in the unaffiliated as well."

"'Poof, what stupid things are you saying? Now that I remember, you don't have a prestigious background like them,' said Dusik."

"Sir that's too much," Inhyuk interrupted.

Dusik looked at them with a dark smile and said mockingly. "Of course, since Shinhwa and the union benefit from indiscriminately accepting awakened ones to enhance their powers, my comments may be offensive."

Inhyuk and Seongha's faces turned ugly as they looked at Dusik.

One of the guards advanced and said. "Watch your words, I don't like how you are talking to our elder."

"You don't like how you talk?" said Inhyuk, releasing his aura uncontrollably and surprising all the instructors with his reaction.

Immediately, Dusik's bodyguard also released his aura, though it did not reach the escalation of Inhyuk's. The next moment, another aura blocked the two bodyguards and it was Seongha's.

Seongha stood up from his seat and said. "Mr. Dusik, are you declaring war on the Union and Shinhwa?".

"Are you breaking the agreement?" said Dusik mockingly.

Inhyuk also stood up from his seat and with his aura increasing, he pressed everyone present, cracking the walls of the room and suppressing Dusik

Inhyuk said. 'You declared war on us.'"

Inhyuk and Seongha are ready to fight at any time.

"That's enough, everyone," Suhan interrupted.

Dusik, Inhyuk and Seongha looked at Suhan and his aura disappeared.

Inhyuk and Seongha said at the same time. "We are leaving."

Inhyuk opened the door and walked out with Seongha, before closing it, they turned around and said in unison. "Next time you won't be so lucky." looking coldly at Dusik and then they closed the door.

The room fell silent, the expression on the face of Dusik and his guards became grim and, after standing up, they left the office.

As he walked down the hallway, Dusik spoke angrily. "Those fuckers, how dare they? Just because their organizations have gained power in recent years, they become so arrogant."

Suddenly, a voice interrupted him, 'Mr. Kang,' said a deep voice from behind him.

"Yes," he replied in surprise, looking up at the young man in a frock coat who had suddenly appeared beside him in the hallway

"The Director wants to see you," said the young man in a tuxedo, looking at Dusik with a serious expression on his face.

Dusik's face turned ugly upon hearing the young man's words, which indicated that the meeting with the Director would not be pleasant.

Han Seongik looked at Dusik seriously and said. "You should leave now."

"What?" said Dusik discontentedly, frowning and looking at Han Seongik.

"You told me you would come to visit me in Sucheon, but instead, it has caused a lot of trouble," Han Seongik said in a calm but authoritative voice.

Dusik was silent as he waited. 'This damn bastard wants to get rid of me.'

Han Seongik asked. 'Do you want there to be a war between Baekdu, Shinhwa and the Union?'

Dusik looked seriously at Han Seongik and said casually. "The institution is taking a path it should not be taking, and the instructors are to blame had to make it travel its path.'"

Han Seongik took a sip of coffee and said. "They didn't tell me that."

Dusik looked with deep fury in his eyes and clenched his fists tightly.
