[43] "All Ready"

[One week later]

Two human figures and a small dragon figure were running swiftly along the top of the buildings, while a group of black figures pursued them relentlessly.

"We can't let them get away!" exclaimed a woman, pausing to launch several powerful attacks against the pursuers.

The attack hit several of the black figures, killing them instantly, leaving only two who continued their pursuit.

The leading man turned and saw the bodies of his subordinates, frustrated at their lack of resistance. 'Those fools can't even withstand a measly attack,' he thought to himself.

However, before he could do anything, a light-covered hand cut his head clean off.

A woman suddenly appeared and cut the man in half.

"We're close to leaving the country," one of the figures reported, as the group moved quickly across the rooftops.

Ares wiped the blood on his hands and commented. "It's annoying to kill flies without attracting attention."

Rebecca nodded in agreement, but Silvia worried about Ares' wounds. "We need you to heal your wounds soon, Ares. Not only will it cause problems for your future, but it will also take you longer to recover if we keep putting it off."

Rebecca wasn't convinced of the seriousness of the situation. "Don't you think you're overreacting a little, Silvia?"

Silvia explained calmly. "You don't know how dangerous it is to have a body with hidden wounds. If you don't heal them quickly, it will be harder to heal them over time and it will take much longer to recover. And when you're not at your best, it will cause your power to weaken much faster than it should."

Rebecca was surprised by this information, but understood the importance of proper healing. "Okay, let's focus on healing Ares' wounds and move on."

The three figures disappeared in an instant, moving to their next destination quickly.

[One month later]

In a corner far from civilization, surrounded by majestic mountains and lush vegetation, a small piece of land shifted and two large doors opened, revealing stairs.

A man, a woman and a small dragon climbed the stairs and emerged to the surface.

The dragon scampered happily across the beautiful meadow, while Rebecca's hair fluttered in the cool breeze. "I love it here," the dragon said.

Rebecca laughed and agreed. "It's nice to have a break in such a dangerous world."

Ares smiled and added, "Enjoy this while you can, because we'll have to go back soon."

"Yes," Rebecca sighed, remembering her obligations And you, Ares, still need to heal your hidden wounds," Sylvia said, noting that peace would not last forever.

"I know," Ares admitted with a resigned smile. "Let's enjoy these two months, then we'll go back to our daily lives."

....

[Two weeks later]

On the summit of a majestic mountain, a man stands absorbed in contemplation of the vast meadow unfolding before his eyes serenely, holding a cell phone to his ear, like a contrast between the modern and the natural.

"Mr. Ares, the building is complete. You can come visit anytime," informs a voice on the other end of the line.

"I'm busy at the moment. I will come in a week," Ares replies.

"If there are any defects in the construction, let us know and we will mobilize our employees to correct them," the voice offers.

"Agreed. The outstanding payment will be transferred shortly," says Ares.

"Thank you very much, sir," the voice replies before Ares cuts the call and puts the phone in his right pocket.

He then pulls another phone from his left pocket and dials a number.

The phone rings several times before someone picks up.

"Yes...?" answers a male voice on the other end.

"This is Ares,Maestro," Ares says.

"Ares, what's going on?" asks Kayden in a serious tone.

"The headquarters is ready," replies Ares in a calm voice.

"Ready? When will you meet?" asks Kayden.

"In about a week. I'll send you the location," says Ares.

"Okay. I'll let you know. I'll see you there," Kayden replies before Ares cuts off the call.

"Are you sure you don't want to join?" asked Ares.

After a moment of silence is heard. "I'm used to being alone, but I'll help you with anything you need me for."

"Thank you very much, master" Ares says.

Kayden hangs up the call.

Ares' white hair flutters in the wind as he ponders. "Plans are going to change.... The headquarters is built. I think it will be good to spend some time there and fully recover. Although this place is nice, I need to catch up with the world."

Suddenly, Ares disappears from the mountaintop and appears in front of a woman and a dragon lying on the grass.

"Ares," Rebecca greets.

"Get ready. Change of plans. We leave first thing tomorrow morning," Ares announces.

"Damn! I was getting attached to this place," complains Silvia, irritated.

"We're leaving? What made you change your mind?" asks Rebecca with interest.

"The headquarters has been built. Let's go meet the other member of the organization," Ares explains.

"Is it a nice place?" asks Silvia.

"Yes, although it's very cold," replies Ares.

"Cold?", Rebecca wonders to herself.

"I love the snow!" exclaims Silvia very excited.

"Although the outside is covered with ice, inside there is vegetation due to a barrier covering the headquarters," explains Ares with a smile.

"Much better! You've done a good job building a home that I like," Silvia praises happily.

Ares frowns and looks at Silvia, who seems completely oblivious to his expression.
