[A few days later]

Rebecca looked concerned as she spoke to Ares. "Are you sure you want to go? It's quite possible that it's a trap. Just when you're thought to be here, those rumors come out."

In an area surrounded by imposing buildings, three people stood at the top of the tallest skyscraper in the area, with an impressive height of 200 meters above the ground.

From there, they could enjoy a panoramic view of the city, with its crowded streets and lights shining in the night. The wind was blowing strongly at that height, ruffling the clothes of the three individuals and adding a bit of excitement to the atmosphere. Despite the danger involved in being on top of such a tall building, the three seemed calm and focused on whatever it was they were doing.

"Are you sure he'll show up?" asked Dale Butler.

"He'll show up, he won't pass up such a valuable opportunity," Amy Hicks replied.

"Word is he's not afraid of anything, he must be spectacular in person," said John Madden with a crazy grin on his face.

An awkward silence forms as the three wait for Ares to arrive.

At that moment, an unexpected voice interrupts them. "Did I keep you waiting too long?" says someone behind them.

The three of them turn in surprise to find Ares Seo, the emperor of light, slowly appearing from a dark blue spiral.

Meanwhile, Amy Hicks watched Ares' body in awe and thought to herself. 'Wow... he's much younger and more beautiful than I thought.'

Ares, with a calm and confident attitude, replied. "I don't have all the time like you guys who like to waste it waiting for me."

"Let's start the fun," Ares said as a smile formed on his face and he uttered the magic words "(Space Isolation)."

The entire place lit up with a powerful flash of golden light, forcing the three individuals in front of Ares to cover their eyes.

"Come," Ares said raising his hand and signaling for them to approach him.

"Ares Seo," Dale Butler said with an irritated voice and an angry attitude.

Amy Hicks frowned and emanated a powerful icy aura from her body.

"We'll see how long you can hold out with that calmness," John Madden said as he disappeared from his place.

Suddenly, a blurry figure appeared next to Ares and threw a punch at his face. "Gotcha," the figure said.

The fist was millimeters away from impacting Ares' face, but it went right through and Ares' figure disappeared leaving a trail of his body. At incredible speed, a powerful lightning bolt punch impacted John Madden's face, sending him flying and crashing into several buildings.

"You know I'm really fast and I get attacked by such a slow guy, pathetic" said Ares shaking his head from side to side.

"That speed" said Amy Hicks in surprise.

"You have to restrict it anyway" added Dale Butler uneasily.

The temperature of the battlefield dropped and the buildings slowly froze.

"(Ice Age)" said Amy Hicks.

"Ohh... pretty smart to freeze the area to limit my speed, but it won't do the same to your partner..." laughed Ares.

A loud boom came as a powerful spark attack collided with a light shield, damaging the buildings behind Ares.

"They won't let me finish my words, JEJEJE" said Ares.

"Well, it's true, I've talked too much" said Ares as his eyes lit up golden and a huge explosion spread from his body to all sides.

Several destroyed buildings revealed two figures covered in light blue and yellow lights with red borders.

Ares descended from the sky and said. "Here is better, so the other guy can join the battle."

"What an arrogant guy," Amy Hicks said in disgust.

"I'll make sure you die for your hubris. Only people with great status have that privilege and you're a commoner" Dale Butler added, dissatisfied.

At that moment, a figure with a bleeding face appeared next to the other two.

"Let's stop playing games, let's go all out... I want to chop him up and put him away" said John Madden flashing a crazy grin and sticking out his tongue.

The other two nodded.

Dale Butler opened his arms and sparks appeared in his hands. He looked at Ares and directed his arm towards him, forming millions of tiny sparks that exploded.

At the same time, Amy Hicks raised a hand and a snowball appeared, launching it towards Ares and generating a trail of snow that froze everything in its path.

'Two powerful attacks. So they must come' thought Ares with a smile.

Two large bolts of lightning shot out of Ares' hands towards the two attacks.

Two large explosions formed as the attacks collided.

From the dust appeared dozens of figures at high speed, launching several killer attacks in a millisecond, trying to hit the vital points of his body.

Ares observes the silhouettes created by John Madden and prepares for the attack.

The murderous blows approach him at high speed and Ares studies them carefully before disappearing in the blink of an eye. In an instant, multiple Ares figures counterattack John Madden's attacks.

The sound of several explosions shakes the area, as John Madden is sent flying and receives Ares' powerful attacks covered in light.

In the destroyed street, Ares stops to look at John Madden's body lying on the ground.

Suddenly, two powerful attacks come by surprise, one from the right and one from the left. Dale Butler is astonished by the speed shown by Ares and thinks. "Shit, how can he be so fast?".

The situation doesn't seem to be going as Amy Hicks had planned and his face shows an unpleasant expression. Without wasting any time, Dale Butler and Amy Hicks disappear from their place and appear on both sides of Ares.

Amy held in her right hand a tornado of snow which she hurled towards Ares, growing in size and freezing the ground in its wake. "Snow tornado!" shouted Amy.

Dale clasped his hands together and slowly pulled them apart, forming a sphere filled with sparks that he hurled towards Ares, growing in size as it flew towards him.

Ares watched the two attacks with contempt. 'Trying to surprise me, are they stupid,' he thought, 'They know I have super speed and enhanced reflexes.

'I should finish one of them off at once. This is pissing me off... besides, I'm not 100%. The fight a few days ago and this one are wasting a lot of my energy," Ares reflected with a devilish grin. "But... it's very entertaining to fight."

Two shields formed with light appeared to Ares' right and left, protecting him from the attacks that impacted against them.

There was a huge explosion, but Ares was still standing.

A great flash lit up the place followed by a deafening roar that echoed throughout the area.

John Madden lay on the ground, trying to visualize the shockwave of the attack. 'Shit... Why don't these fools call it in,' he thought.

After a few seconds, two figures appeared. "Where is he?" asked Amy Hicks, clearly nervous, looking for Ares.

"We killed him," Dale Butler replied with a cocky voice and a big grin on his face. "There wasn't even a trace of him left."

"Don't be silly, you know his strength very well. I don't think he died with our attack," Amy Hicks said disapprovingly, concentrating on the battlefield. 'Where is he, how did he disappear without a trace?'

'Don't be so nervous, Amy. You think too highly of that commoner," Dale Butler said, showing incredible happiness in his words.

"You should have listened to her. She would have saved your life," said an indifferent, confident voice.

Suddenly, the figure of Ares began to form behind Dale Butler at great speed. Ares' hand went through Dale Butler's chest and pulled out his heart. Dale turned with difficulty and looked at Ares' bloody hand, lowering his head as he visualized a hand-sized hole in his chest.

"You've helped me quite a bit with your stupidity," Ares said flashing a smile as he squeezed his heart and made it explode.

In his right hand, rays of light appeared and covered it forming a very sharp point, and cut Dale's body in half.

Ares pulled a handkerchief from his pocket with his left hand and wiped the blood on his right hand. "Gross."

"Who's next?" asked Ares as he looked at Amy Hicks, who was nearby, and John Madden in the distance.

'I should finish that guy off, weird personality, he reminds me....' thought Ares before disappearing.

"He's gone?" asked Amy Hicks in amazement.

John Madden looked in fright at the figure that appeared in front of him, with a fist wrapped in beams of light aimed at him.

Several strikes impacted John Madden's body forming a great roar.

Amy, surprised, turned around and saw how Ares fiercely attacked John Madden without giving him time to defend himself. 'I have to run away' she thought and started to run away from the place.

"Argh... Argh..." moans could be heard from a badly wounded body on the ground, with blood and severe burns all over his upper body.

"You son of a bitch... How can you be so strong?" asked John Madden with difficulty.

Ares, standing in front of him, glared at him. "You must know the level of your abilities to take on other awakened ones. You alone are scum who deserve to die. Joining with others to try to kill me, you are not worthy of staying alive," Ares said raising his hand in the direction of the body on the ground.

"It is an honor to be killed by me, an inferior being like you..." continued Ares, whose hand began to give off beams of light in all directions.

A second later, a powerful attack of light completely covered the body on the ground, causing it to disappear.

Ares took a calming breath as he turned around and couldn't find Amy Hicks.

'She must have run away, well, that's par for the course for inferior people like them,' Ares thought as he kept his hands in his pants pockets and walked away.

'They must be waiting for me, we'll be leaving this place soon.'
