19 [18] "Kayden Break V/S Death Bjørn"

[Pov Kayden]

Jumping from building to building, Kayden mentally reviewed the details of the Berserker headquarters.

'Norway's top organization with an awakened individual ranked 20th in the world.'

'That ant Bjørn Sørensen never accepted my challenge and all he did was hide within his organization, surrounded by other awakened individuals,' he thought angrily.

'But now I have an excuse to confront him,' he added with a devilish smile on his face.

....

Kayden landed on top of a building, releasing a powerful aura that spread throughout the area, sealing the space.

"Bjørn Sørensen, come out and face me," he said with authority.

A massive bolt of electricity fell from the sky, destroying the skyscraper.

"Who dares to attack me in my headquarters?" said an angry voice.

Two figures were seen amidst the destroyed building. an elderly man with long white hair, a beard, and an eyepatch, and a young man with golden hair and black eyes.

Kayden descended from the sky with a smile and said, "Who attacked you? HAHAHA."

The two men stared at Kayden intently.

"Kayden?" Bjørn said, showing surprise on his face.

Tobias looked at Kayden with doubt, who had just appeared in the middle of the base.

"Kayden Break, what are you doing here? Do you think that by killing my subordinates, I won't fight you?" Bjørn asked, with a cold and defiant look.

"Hahaha, how many times I sought you out for a fight, and all you did was hide like a cockroach within your organization," Kayden said, despising Bjørn.

'Kayden Break challenged our leader, and he refused to face him,' Tobias said, looking at Bjørn in astonishment.

"Do you think I didn't accept your challenge because I would lose against you?" Bjørn asked angrily.

"Of course, an ant like you who hides when challenged doesn't deserve to live," Kayden said, unleashing a powerful blue aura.

"You think I wouldn't dare to challenge you?. Don't you know that I'm ranked 20th in the world?" Bjørn said, releasing an immense black aura.

The two powerful auras clashed, changing the color of the sky and dividing the battlefield into two intense hues. one blue and the other black.

However, in an instant, both auras disappeared.

"It doesn't matter what rank you hold in the world. What matters is your power and how you only know how to hide. You're nothing more than a coward with a high rank," Kayden said with a big smile.

"Kayden, those rumors better not be lies because you won't leave here alive," Bjørn threatened, preparing for the impending fight.

A terrifying lightning bolt collides with a black shield covering the two figures.

"Stop talking and fight, are you scared?" Kayden laughed, mocking Bjørn.

"Kayden..." Bjørn looked at him with a clear murderous intent in his eyes.

"Tobias, I suggest you step back. I won't be able to protect you near me," Bjørn warned his subordinate.

"Alright," Tobias replied as he quickly moved away.

"Kayden Break," Bjørn pronounced challengingly.

"Death Bjørn," Kayden replied with a big smile.

"You finally dare to fight. I thought you would run away," Kayden provoked.

"KAYDDEEENNN!" Bjørn shouted furiously.

A deafening thunder resounded across the battlefield.

Releasing an immense black aura, a massive dark pillar descended from the sky, enveloping Kayden's body and destroying the nearby structures.

"Hahaha, is that all you've got, Kayden?" Bjørn taunted challengingly.

"Yes, Mr. Bjørn can't afford to lose," Tobias's voice was heard in the distance.

Countless lightning bolts shot out from the black aura, reaching in all directions and displaying immense blue energy that nullified Bjørn's power.

"Is that it?" Kayden asked with a smile on his face.

An uncomfortable silence filled the air.

"If you won't attack, then I will," Kayden declared as he ascended into the sky.

The firmament was illuminated in blue as an enormous amount of electricity accumulated in his body.

"(Divine Judgment)," Kayden pronounced.

Bjørn watched in astonishment as the impending attack loomed over him.

"(Gate of Hell)," Bjørn shouted.

Two enormous gates with chains and numerous embedded skulls appeared beneath him.

Breaking the chains and slowly opening, the two gates revealed a massive black column filled with wailing corpses.

The two attacks headed toward their opponent, colliding in the center with a thunderous noise.

A massive explosion erupted, destroying all nearby structures and visible from afar. Silence engulfed the area as the dust settled.

"Kayden... I didn't know you were this strong," Bjørn said as he examined his injured arm.

"Really? Haven't the other top-ranked individuals I've challenged told you?" Kayden responded with a big smile as he descended from the sky and approached Bjørn.

"I thought those rumors were false, but..." Bjørn said, astonished.

"I won't hold back anymore, Kayden," Bjørn said, determined.

"That's what I want," Kayden said, laughing.

Two gigantic auras appeared on the battlefield as both fighters leaped and clashed their fists in the air.

They exchanged dozens of blows, moving swiftly from one place to another as they tried to strike each other with all their might.

'How powerful he is,' Tobias said, watching the fight with evident fear.

'I can't believe Kayden Break is this strong. The rumors were true,' Tobias added with great concern.

The two figures stared at each other without moving a single finger in a completely devastated environment.

"Kayden, maybe we should end the fight here," Bjørn said, surprised by Kayden's strength.

"End it here? Hahaha!" Kayden roared savagely.

'Does he really want to keep fighting? I'm exhausted from that intense exchange of blows,' Bjørn thought, astonished.

"Kayden, this confrontation won't lead us anywhere. We'll only harm each other," Bjørn said, nervously examining his minor wounds.

"Harm each other? But you're the only one who's injured," Kayden said, disdainfully smiling at Bjørn.

Bjørn frowned and didn't respond.

"You have to die here for crossing paths with me, Bjørn. Anyone who provokes me should not live," Kayden said, releasing an immense killing intent combined with a terrifying electric blue aura.

'Provoke? When? Who was the fool who provoked this maniac?' Bjørn thought, nervous.

"Kayden, there must be a misunderstanding," Bjørn said, trying to defuse the situation.

"There's no misunderstanding," Kayden responded with a terrifying gaze. "Die."

The entire sky changed color and filled with electricity.

"(Divine Judgment)," Kayden said with a commanding voice in the sky, resembling a thunder god covered in electricity.

Millions of thunderbolts formed a colossal Kirin, moving from side to side in the sky.

The colossal thunder Kirin swayed in the sea of lightning in the firmament, instilling terror in everyone present.

The enormous thunder Kirin descended from above with its jaws open and roaring.

"How can this be?. Such immense power!" Bjørn said, trembling in the face of the immense Kirin.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Bjørn screamed in fear.

Normality returned to the buildings of Oslo, now illuminated by the night and without the spatial seal that had protected them until recently.

Kayden descended from the sky and landed silently on the top of a building.

"That ant provided an entertaining battle," Kayden commented as he surveyed the city.

"One less. I've dealt with Bjørn in the first attack so he won't bother us anymore. Now, only that Tobias remains," Kayden said as he searched everywhere.

"He must have fled like a coward," Kayden said, laughing sarcastically. "But it doesn't matter. Sooner or later, I'll find him, and then... it will be his end."

....

[A week later]

On top of a building, an imposing figure is seen.

'This is the last organization I need to destroy. These weaklings just hide.'

'The president of this last organization is named Asier Bosch. It is said that his wounds are incurable,' Kayden said, looking at the building ahead.

(Spatial Isolation)

The building is sealed.

"(Divine Judgment)," Kayden said in the sky.

A massive thunderbolt descends from the sky, colliding with the building. And in an instant, it disappears.

"Phew. Phew.."

"Alright, I need to rest. Running around searching for these scum has exhausted me," Kayden said, breathing slowly.

Kayden leaves the place, leaping on top of the buildings.

'I took care of all the problems. Has Ares awakened from his coma?'

'I should hurry up and rest when I'm with them,' Kayden said, quickening his pace.

[One week later]

[South Korea]

[Korea Academy]

"Has something important happened in the world, Suhan?" Han Seongik asked.

"Yes, Mr. Han. It is said that Kayden has destroyed seven globally recognized awakened organizations," Suhan Kang replied, her voice trembling.

"Really?" Han Seongik exclaimed, staying silent for a moment.

"Sir?" Suhan Kang asked, perplexed.

"I'm sorry, is there any news about Ares?" Han Seongik asked with a friendly smile.

"We still don't know anything. The only thing we know is that Kayden killed Bjørn Sørensen," Suhan Kang reported.

"The number one in Norway and top 20 in the world?" Han Seongik asked in astonishment.

"Yes, sir. It's also rumored that Kartein was in Norway, near the location where the confrontation between Ares and the other six top-ranked awakened took place," Suhan Kang added.

"Could he have dealt with Ares?" Han Seongik pondered.

"Do you believe that, sir? We don't know anything more about what could have happened," Suhan Kang said.

Han Seongik turned his chair and looked out the window of his office.

"Phew... phew... phew..." Han Seongik breathed.

"Why does the world have to be so unstable at this moment? I can't relax like this," he murmured to himself.

At that moment, a young person opened the door.

"Mr. Han, we have brought the representatives of the country's most important organizations. They are waiting in the conference room," the person informed respectfully.

"Thank you, I'll be there in a moment," Han Seongik replied, rising from his seat.

In the conference room, six people were seated at a rectangular table, with two empty seats.

As Han Seongik and Suhan Kang entered, the six figures stood up upon seeing the elder.

"Oh... there's no need to stand up," Han Seongik said with a kind smile.

The two newcomers took the vacant seats.

"I have called your organizations here to discuss the future of this academy," Han Seongik announced with a serious and imposing voice.

All present nodded, maintaining silence and paying attention to what Han Seongik had to say.

"As you know, we decided to expedite the process by sending the young leaders of your groups to this academy to get to know and interact with each other, as they will be the awakened who will lead our country in the future. That's why I have decided that this academy will start teaching our awakened, regardless of their organization. For that, I would like each organization to send one of their awakened to teach our children," Han Seongik said calmly.

"You want us to teach the children?" Seong asked, bewildered.

"That's what I want. It will benefit all our young ones," Han Seongik said, looking at the representative from Baekdu.

"When will this start if the group leaders agree?" Park Seong asked.

"In two or three years, maybe even a little earlier, but you will have enough time to prepare," Han Seongik said.

Inhyuk Goo asked, "How many representatives can we bring to this academy per group?"

After pondering for a moment, Han Seongik replied, "Only three per group."

"Just three?" Inhyuk Goo asked.

"Yes, we want to keep it as secret as possible so that others won't find out, and the young ones can grow in peace," Han Seongik explained.

Miyoung interjected and asked, "Keep it a secret?"

Han Seongik smiled and said, "But don't worry, I'm just informing you of my idea. I hope you will relay it to your superiors, and I will personally speak with them to explain everything that has been planned so far."

The six figures nodded immediately.
