His devil wings spread further, ready for the next assault.

They both share a common thought. 'I knew his personality was strange, just like Kayden's, but I never thought they would be so similar.'

A dark, terrifying demonic aura expands from Kartein outwards. The next instant, he unleashes a dark blanket of energy that envelops both Alex and Mauricio.

Dark energy manifests a relentless desire to exterminate any life form it touches.

Alex, struggling to maintain his protective aura, senses how energy manipulation becomes more difficult. A feeling of weakness slowly takes over him, evidencing the overwhelming pressure imposed by Kartein's dark energy.

Mauricio, on the other hand, feels increasing fatigue as he tries to absorb the dark energy around him.

Taking advantage of his opponents' weakness, Kartein unleashes a direct attack.

Alex and Mauricio, very wounded, counterattack desperately. Alex releases a blast of power at him, and Mauricio releases all the absorbed energy. The attacks move forward, tearing apart the environment, merging to create a powerful attack.

Kartein smiles and a dark aura protects him, the attack envelops him, creating a large explosion that echoes through the place.

Alex and Mauricio breathe heavily, exhausted.

Suddenly, they are amazed to see a dark puddle slowly covering their feet, which grows and engulfs them.

Garrith, from afar, watches as a devilish mouth swallows them, being shocked. 'Since when did Kartein become so strong...?'

The dust disappears, the dark liquid too, and you can only see Kartein with his clothes a little messy and slight cuts dripping blood all over his body.

Alex and Mauricio are nowhere to be seen.

Suddenly, an aura begins to melt the concrete, causing Kartein to frown and look at Harold's confrontation.
