[137] "Clear your mind"

[Unaffiliated training arena]

Giwook, Seongha, Inhyuk, Miyoung and Suhan form a circle while talking.

"Did you see Jiwoo training with Kayden, Ares and Kartein?" asked Miyoung.

This present nod their heads and Inhyuk comments. "Yeah, I thought they were already gone, but they magically appeared."

"It's normal with the rumors that were said about them, Kartein is very hard to find, and you rarely know his location and with Ares, it's almost the same, but since he causes trouble in these parts you know where he was and Kayden is more of the same" Suhan commented mumbling.

"Training with Jiwoo" faintly pronounced Seongha while Giwook was lost in thought.

"How long will they stay?" muttered Suhan doubtfully seriously.

"I don't know, we haven't engaged in a conversation with them, but I guess not long" added Inhyuk.

"I hope so with them here this gets complicated" said Miyoung and, after a moment, he added. "This time has been very stressful with the visitors."

"Yes, I have not been able to rest comfortably, worried that something bad will happen" said Suhan.

The other teachers show their serious faces and do not speak.

At that instant, many students come through the door and approach them and form a crescent in front of them.

"Good morning, professors" said the students with reverence, each one in turn.

Wooin looked at the teachers and frowned and thought. 'I thought Jiwoo would be with them, but we went to his room and he wasn't there. Where could he be?'

Jisuk with his hands in his pockets and his carefree attitude asks looking at Inhyuk. "And Jiwoo?"

"Yeah, where is Jiwoo, he wasn't in the room" Subin commented.

Sucheon, Gangseok and the other students were silent, looking at Jisuk and Subin and then at the teachers, waiting for their answer.

The eyes of the other students are similarly focused on the teachers, and the atmosphere is filled with a silence with a heavy air.

Inhyuk sighs and says. "He is training with his teacher, brother and Mr. Kartein."

A murmur and surprised faces form on the students and is heard.

"They are here?"

"Shouldn't they have left by now?"

"Why would they still be here?"

"Don't worry, they train in another training camp, and you will not be affected, everything will continue the same way" commented Inhyuk, calming down the situation.

Giwook looks at the weird atmosphere and says. "Start training, do a couple of laps to warm up your bodies, you are in for a tough day today."

Kartein and Kayden watched intently as Jiwoo tried his best in his attack.

Ares, one-handed, dodged their attacks with ease and countered with blows that generated flashes of golden light, impacting Jiwoo and knocking him back.

Jiwoo's clothes were in terrible shape, and he had some minor wounds on his body.

Kayden, arms crossed, frowned as he noticed the black bands on all four of Jiwoo's limbs. He thought to himself. 'These bands that increase his gravity have greatly enhanced his speed. Even while fighting, he still maintains them. This is excellent training for him.'

He decided to step forward and commented. "Your speed is improving rapidly, and you are using your powers more efficiently."

Ares placed his hands behind his back and said enigmatically. "Jiwoo, there's something I want to show you."

Kartein and Kayden exchanged hesitant glances as Jiwoo's eyes sparkled with excitement as he asked. "A technique? What are you going to teach me?"

Ares answered seriously. "It's an attack technique, but..." He paused dramatically before continuing, "it's a technique designed to assassinate your enemies."

Surprise and confusion flashed across Kayden's and Kartein's faces, remembering that Ares had no known experience in assassination techniques, their brows furrowed even more at Ares' unexpected statement.

The smile on Jiwoo's face instantly disappeared, replaced by an expression of insecurity and concern.

Ares stepped forward, placing himself in front of Jiwoo, and spoke.

"All techniques, ultimately, are designed to cause harm," Ares commented, "only some are more lethal than others. Eventually, you may find yourself in a situation where you must decide to take someone's life, either mistakenly or because you have no other choice. You yourself have experienced the difficulties of being vulnerable, but the choice is in your hands. What is your answer?"

Jiwoo took a moment to reflect, and it was Kayden who interjected. "I don't know what technique Ares has in mind, but it is true that all techniques are designed to defeat your opponent. Whether to kill someone is a different matter, and it's up to you."

Kartein, arms crossed, observed the situation without revealing his opinion.

Finally, Jiwoo, after carefully weighing the choice, looked at Ares and said with determination. "Please teach me that technique, brother."

A smile spread across Ares' face as he replied, "Watch carefully. I will show you the technique and, at the same time, explain how to perform it. Afterward, I will help you practice it on your own."

"Although my awakened power is related to light, I can use electricity thanks to our master's force control. However, this particular technique requires electricity to be truly lethal," Ares explained as Kayden and Kartein listened with great interest, and Jiwoo was completely focused on his words.

Ares created a spatial insulation that covered the training field. Then, he wrapped his right hand with electricity, and sizzling sounds were heard, as if birds were fluttering around.

"You must concentrate the electricity in your hand and then..." began Ares, moving his hand slightly towards the ground. The electricity seemed to become even sharper when he barely touched it.

Kartein and Kayden's brows furrowed as they saw the dangerous sharpness of the electricity.

"By increasing your speed to the maximum while concentrating the electricity in your hand and with your super reflexes, you can defeat any opponent," Ares concluded with a smile, and the electricity enveloping his hand disappeared.

Kayden watched the situation in silence as his mind worked at full speed. He thought to himself. "It's a technique designed to kill, and if it targets a vital point, it could cut through anything... It's a variant of the technique I taught him."

Surprise filled Jiwoo as he commented, amazed. "Isn't it similar to the technique Mr. Kayden taught me?"

Ares nodded, explaining, "Yes, it's a variant of the technique Kayden taught you. You concentrate all the electricity in your fist and, with your great speed, you can punch through anything. However, in this variant, you must mold the electricity so that it covers your hand and is extremely sharp. With your speed, you'll be able to cut through anything."

Jiwoo's eyes shone with admiration, though he didn't fully understand the ferocity of the technique. He exclaimed, impressed. "Wow, you're amazing!"

Kartein carefully analyzed the technique, with awe and concern flashing across his face. His thoughts churned in his mind. "How can he even think of teaching this technique to Jiwoo? It is literally to leave his opponent severely injured. If he targets a limb, he's sure to sever it. And since when did Ares become so experienced in assassination?"

Ares' surprising technique had planted doubts and questions in Kartein's mind,

"Well, let's go on. I already gave you a demonstration. Now, sit in front of me in meditation position," Ares said earnestly.

Jiwoo obeyed immediately, settling himself on the floor in a meditation position and closing his eyes.

Ares, wasting no time, was surrounded by a blue aura that merged with Jiwoo's body. The young man felt how an energy entered his body and began to circulate in a peculiar way.

With unwavering concentration, Jiwoo followed the energy as time flew by, fully immersing himself in the learning experience under Ares' guidance.

After completing another grueling day of training, each day followed the same routine of drills, practice and more training. In the blink of an eye, a week flew by, and the day came when everyone would leave the academy.
