In the heart of the arena, the two women face each other with intense stares. Subin takes the initiative. "My name is Subin Lee, I belong to the Awakened Union" she declares firmly.

Emily responds with a smile that soon disappears, replaced by a serious, focused expression. "I'm Emily Spencer, and like the others, I'm from the Illuminati" she calmly reveals.

Without wasting a second, Subin adopts a determined combat stance. The seriousness of the situation is reflected in every movement and gesture.

Emily, for her part, removes the smile from her face, transforming it into an attentive and resolute gaze directed towards Subin.

Two sharp shards of ice take shape in Subin's hands, and with determination he lunges towards Emily.

A frown appears on Emily's face, who chooses not to fight back and allows Subin to approach.

Emily's attitude puzzles Subin, though in response, her expression becomes more serious and somewhat annoyed, as she came to the conclusion that she is being underestimated.

Emily deftly spins on her heels and nimbly backs away, finding a way to evade Subin's attacks. With precise movements, she hits the thrown ice shards, deflecting them masterfully.

Subin persists without relenting, continuing his rain of attacks with determination. Emily, for her part, chooses to respond to the offensive, springing into action and generating an intriguing exchange of blows.

A frustrated frown appears on Subin's face as he realizes that his attacks are not enough to break through Emily's impenetrable defense.

Suddenly, an aura begins to flicker around Emily's body as her eyes turn intensely red. An impressive amount of her power shoots out from her body, generating an explosion that creates a crater in the ground. The place shakes and rumbles under the magnitude of the energy release.

Upon noticing Emily's anomaly, Subin reacts immediately, backing away quickly. She raises her hands in front of her, summoning an ice shield as a defense.

The impact of the blast hits the shield, forcing Subin backwards in a whirlwind of energy. With agility and dexterity, Subin performs a spin in midair, landing on the ground in a controlled manner and sustaining no obvious injuries after the powerful crash.

Onlookers kept their eyes fixed on the two young women, enveloped in a cloud of dust and tension.

"You have good reflexes" commented Emily.

Subin silently stares at her. He raises his right hand and a small ball of ice begins to take shape, gradually growing to the size of a basketball. With a determined movement, Subin impacts the ice ball against the ground, and from that point, the ice begins to spread throughout the arena, causing a noticeable decline in temperature.

Emily inhales, exhaling a cold vapor rising from her mouth. Her eyes narrow as she watches the tiny shards of ice falling around her.

Subin executes a set of movements with both hands, giving rise to a blast of ice that surrounds Emily. The blast begins to gradually expand, enveloping her completely and forming an imposing whirlwind of ice.

Arthur turns his gaze to Duke and then turns his attention back to the confrontation, reflecting. 'It's the same technique he used against Duke, but I still don't know what awakened power Emily possesses. So far, she's only demonstrated an ability to create energy weapons.'

'Not bad' Teresa comments.

James nods in agreement, and Samantha adds. 'She does quite well, although Emily's power can counteract ice.'

Within the ice vortex, flashes of red light distill, and in full view of everyone, the ice blast begins to gradually dissolve as it comes into contact with those light rays.

The change in temperature generates a warm vapor that rises, and from behind this vapor, an imposing laser beam emerges and heads straight for Subin.

Subin remains alert and keenly perceives the looming threat. With surprising fluidity, he creates a solid wall of ice.

As the laser beam approaches, the temperature rise is palpable, and the ice begins to thaw, transforming into water.

With determination, Subin concentrates more power, strengthening the ice barrier. The impact between the wall and the attack causes a new explosion, accompanied by a powerful wind, rumbling and vibrations that reverberate in the area.

Emily observes Subin, who has small cuts on his face and body.

Seongha observes the situation from his secluded position and reflects. 'Her powers release enormous amounts of heat, making her the worst opponent for Subin.'

In turn, Subin internally weighs the difficulty of the situation. 'Her powers counteract mine.'

Seeing that, Subin did not take the initiative to attack. Emily prepares to attack, her body instinctively reacting. Emily's hands become enveloped in an intense reddish aura and 20 circles of the same hue appear above them, from which 20 laser beams emerge and rapidly shoot out.

Subin acts and quickly creates a large wall of ice in her defense.

The laser beams hit the wall and destroy it, resulting in an explosion of considerable proportions.

The resulting dust envelops Emily, and in the midst of the particle cloud, she raises her hands towards Subin, generating an intense reddish aura that gradually expands, forming a glowing red sphere that radiates energy beams in all directions.

The magnitude of the attack draws the attention of Arthur, Cain and Duke, whose brows furrow as they observe the disturbing situation.

Sheonga, also concerned, watches the scene intently, aware of the powerful attack.

An immense laser beam shoots toward Subin, devastating the ground and creating cracks in its path.

A blast of ice erupts around the beam, enveloping and freezing it. Within seconds, however, the ice begins to break apart and beams of red light are released through the cracks, tearing the ice apart until the powerful attack continues its trajectory toward Subin.

With a serious expression on his face, Subin reacts by creating a wall of ice.

The impact of the laser beam results in a massive explosion that destroys the entire ice wall.

However, Subin does not give up and raises his hands, generating a barrier that collides with Emily's attack and is engulfed in red light.

The explosion rumbles and shakes the place, leaving in its wake a crater and cracks in the surroundings. Amidst the dust and the explosion, a figure moves backwards at high speed, finally crashing into the bleachers.

A sepulchral silence hung over the arena as all eyes fell on Subin, unconscious and injured, with burns and cuts on her body, and on Emily, seemingly calm and relaxed.

"Subin..." Seongha uttered with concern, quickly heading to check on her condition.

The doctors arrived and examined her, bringing some relief to Seongha. "She's fine, her life is not in danger," they informed her before taking Subin to the infirmary for recovery.

Seongha nodded as she watched the doctors retreat.

Emily returned to her seat in silence, surrounded by the tense atmosphere left by the confrontation.

Samantha looked at Emily and shared her opinion. "You took it too seriously."

Emily frowned but didn't respond, carrying her own thoughts and feelings about the battle with her.

Meanwhile, Lisa turns her gaze to her daughter and Emily, and reflects. 'After my daughter, she is the strongest and always fights in earnest. She first analyzes her opponent and then attacks with everything.'

Han Seongik, silently, with his hands folded behind his back, watched Lisa and thought despondently. 'We were outclassed... Both those of the World Academy and our youngsters.'

Arthur, with a serious expression, plunged into his own thoughts. 'We were defeated by them'; he clenched his fist tightly. 'I need to train. I can't let this happen again.... At least I wasn't the only one to be defeated.'

"The confrontations proved productive for my students." Lisa commented, turning her words to the others. "Though I'm uncertain if it will be the same for your young ones, but let's hope so."

Han Seongik frowned and replied. "I think they learned quite a bit from these confrontations as well."

Lisa nodded and headed for the exit. James, Emily and Teresa followed her, leaving the place.

Samantha, before leaving, looked at Jiwoo among the students and voiced her doubts. "I still don't understand why you want to stay here. You should come with us. This place won't benefit you."

Samantha's words clearly echoed among those present. She continued. "I don't see how this place will be of any assistance to you."

Everyone's gazes focused on Jiwoo, who sighed and replied. "I have several reasons to stay."

Samantha nodded and concluded. "I'll see you again." She then joined the group of those who were leaving.

The place fell into a deep silence.
