[122] "Jiwoo Seo v/s Duke Grane"

[Combat arena]

The stands of the arena were packed with young men. In a secluded area were Veramonte, Patrick, Kayden, Ares and Kartein, with Silvia sitting on Ares' shoulders.

The crowd was expectant, anxious for the event to begin.

Downstairs were the WAA teachers and Garrith with the WAA teachers and students.

Jiwoo and Duke stood mere inches away from each other.

"Nice to meet you," Jiwoo commented with a cheerful smile as he extended his hand in a friendly gesture.

Duke, his face cold and unperturbed, nodded and squeezed Jiwoo's hand firmly.

Jiwoo frowned slightly as he felt the tension in Duke's handshake, but quickly regained his composure. They both turned and stood a few feet apart.

With the sound of the bell, the fight began.

Duke, feeling challenged, launched a bolt of power directly at Jiwoo.

With surprising agility, Jiwoo turned his body at the last moment, causing the attack to pass mere millimeters from his figure and crash to the ground.

With a calm expression, Jiwoo began to walk towards Duke, maintaining an enviable calm.

Both the other youngsters and the teachers present were amazed at Jiwoo's ability to dodge Duke's attack.

In response to the astonishment of those present, Duke, feeling even more irritated by Jiwoo's serenity, launched six more lightning bolts with his power in quick succession. However, Jiwoo increased his speed even more, masterfully dodging each of the attacks.

Instantly, Jiwoo disappeared from everyone's sight.

In the blink of an eye, Jiwoo reappeared in front of Duke and threw a powerful punch. With a flawless reaction, Duke managed to ward off the blow and a red aura materialized in his hand, preparing a counterattack.

Quickly, Jiwoo increased his speed once again, squatting down to dodge the attack aimed at him. With the same momentum, he made a leap into the air and delivered a knee to Duke's head, sending him backwards until he hit the ground.

Duke, his face shadowed and stained with blood, stood up with determination. He glared at Jiwoo in fury as he thought. 'My mistake... his speed is no match for mine, and I will prove it now.'

Duke, determined to prove his skill, disappeared from Jiwoo's sight and appeared in front of him with a powerful attack. Jiwoo quickly moved to the right, dodging the attack with agility. However, Duke did not stop and launched two more quick attacks. Jiwoo increased his speed with no problem and managed to evade the attacks again.

In an attempt to counter, Jiwoo launched a punch towards Duke, but the latter blocked the attack using a red aura in his hand. With the other hand, Duke launched another attack towards Jiwoo. However, in the blink of an eye, Jiwoo disappeared from the scene, puzzling Duke. He looked around for Jiwoo, but suddenly found himself surrounded by several Jiwoo figures rushing at him.

With surprise and quick reaction, Duke used his two hands to throw several spikes in all directions, trying to defend himself.

The several Jiwoo figures approaching Duke disappeared because of Duke's surprise attack.

The teachers present acted quickly and created a barrier to protect the other students from the dangerous projectiles.

Duke vomits blood, dropping a scarlet drop from his lips that runs down his face to the ground.

"Damn... How could he reach me? Why didn't he use his electricity in the fight?" thought Duke, full of anger, as he directs his gaze towards Jiwoo.

The latter is in perfect condition, but his right arm is bloody, and a drop falls to the ground from his finger.

Andrea looks shocked at what happened and wonders. 'How is it possible for him to have so much speed at his age? And besides, how did he manage to dodge Duke's attacks and connect his own punches?'

Sucheon, in the stands, clenches her fist as she watches Jiwoo and thinks. 'How did he improve so much in such a short time?'

The teachers and students watch in amazement as the fight unfolds.

'This kid is spectacular,' Arthur muses as he looks at Kayden and Ares in the stands. 'He's a real monster, just like his family members.'

Garrith raises an eyebrow at this and thinks. 'He's remarkable for his age, but Ares, at that age, would have easily crushed Duke,' then turns his gaze to Cain, whose expression reflects surprise.

Jisuk, Subin and Wooin smile as they take in the scene, and Jiyoung also lets out a warm smile.

Veramonte and Jurion are surprised by the speed shown and the way Jiwoo uses his power.

Kayden smiles mischievously, while Silvia, with strength and excitement in her voice, exclaims. "Hit it Jiwosito, crush that weakling, you can do it!"

Those present turn to Silvia, who looks very excited watching the confrontation, while Ares smiles complacently.

Duke, upon hearing those words, became angry and the next moment he was enveloped in an imposing red-black aura that gave him an intimidating presence.

Fearlessly, Jiwoo kept his gaze firmly on Duke's aura.

Generating a huge arrow with his power, Duke dyed the atmosphere of the arena red, his aura giving off such energy that it caused the bleachers, ceiling and floor to crack.

Upon seeing the impressive arrow, Subin was dumbfounded and commented. "It's much stronger than the one he used against me."

Jisuk, Wooin and Gangseok nodded in surprise with sweat on their foreheads.

With confidence in his voice, Jisuk said. "No matter, Jiwoo will win with his final attack...he can't be stopped."

Andrea also looked with excitement on her face and said. 'Yes, no matter how good that boy is, he can't compare to Duke's true power.'

Garrith, unperturbed, watched him calmly, while Veramonte raised an eyebrow and commented. "He's decent for his age."

Silvia, on the other hand, expressed with determination. "He'll be crushed by Jiwosito."

But Veramonte noticed the calm and terrifying confidence in Jiwoo displayed by Kayden and Ares, who were not nervous at all.

"No matter who you are, you're no match for me," Duke said in a furious voice as he launched his attack towards Jiwoo.

The latter responded with determination. "Top speed."

At the sight of everyone, Jiwoo disappeared.

Reappearing right in front of Duke's attack, his fist enveloped in electricity collided with him and pierced through, dispersing Duke's power. Jiwoo connected his fist with Duke's body.

A large amount of electricity spread in all directions, generating an explosion and a gust of wind that made the hair and clothes of everyone present dance.

Duke shot backwards and crashed into the bleachers, destroying them. From the impact, he vomited blood and lost consciousness.

Veramonte, his face shocked, mutters. "What speed."

Garrith frowns, also surprised, and mutters. "That speed...".

Arthur, Cain and the other WAA students stare in amazement at Duke, wounded and unconscious.

The atmosphere is filled with a mixture of surprise and silence.

in the midst of all this, a giggle is heard, and quickly Silvia appears near Jiwoo, patting his shoulder with her tail. "Well done, boy, you didn't let me down," she exclaims happily.

Ares and Kayden smile in pleasure.

Jisuk, Subin and Wooin quickly descend from the bleachers to go cheer for Jiwoo.

The KAA students, seeing this, joined them to express their support and encouragement for Jiwoo.

Jiyoung, with a beautiful smile, looks at Jiwoo.

Andrea observes the happiness enveloping Jiwoo as she diverts her gaze to Garrith, who seems to be calm in the face of the situation.

Noticing Andrea looking at him, he looks at her and a shiver runs through her body.

Garrith turns and walks away, quickly followed by Cain.

With bloodshot eyes, Andrea turns to Duke and mutters to herself. 'Damn...' Then, her gaze settles on Jiwoo and her anger increases. 'Why did he have to show up?' she wonders.
