[The next day]

The wind blew freely into the air, as Ares and Jurion stood a few meters away. Behind them, the buildings of the Korean Awakened Academy loomed.

A few meters away, another group was congregating, consisting of Veramonte, Kayden and Karteon, who were sharing a nearby space.

Meanwhile, a second group was gathering some distance away, led by Garrith, who had his phoenix behind him, along with Arthur, Duke, Cain with Lancelot and Andrea.

Right next to them was another set of people, including Jiyoung and Jiwoo, the latter holding Silvia in his arms, accompanied by Inhyuk, Seongha, Han Seongik, Sucheon, Wooin, Jisuk, Subin and Gangseok.

Ares turned his gaze to Garrith and blurted out a provocation. "Since when did we invite a living mummy?"

Garrith returned a nasty glare at Ares, as those present watched with puzzled and anxious faces at the tension between the two.

"HAHAHAHAHA" a feminine giggle was heard echoing through the air, capturing the attention of all present. All eyes turned to Jiwoo, who held the small dragon in his hands.

"A living mummy next to this Cleopatra," exclaimed Silvia, pointing at Garrith and Cain, in a mocking tone.

Kartein couldn't resist the laughter and quickly, played dumb, feigning awkwardness

"Silvia," Jiwoo said with concern in his voice, turning his gaze to the dragon in his arms.

Phoenix released his aura and fixed his gaze on Silvia, warning her earnestly, "Watch your words." His piercing gaze made it clear that he would not tolerate any provocation or disrespectful behavior.

Silvia, defiant and full of arrogance, did not back down in the face of the phoenix warning. Instead, she released her aura as well, displaying powerful energy.

"Let's fight! I'll be sure to kill you, you filthy impure beast!" stated Silvia, without hesitation.

The atmosphere became even more tense, and everyone present felt trapped by the situation. However, before the confrontation could be triggered, a spatial isolation manifested itself in the place.

All eyes turned to Ares, who was responsible for releasing that ability.

"After them, it's our turn to fight, you filthy unclean beast," said Silvia, defiantly.

Phoenix was undaunted by the provocations and responded with determination. "That we will."

At that moment, Ares, driven by excitement and the desire to fight, stepped forward. "Let's go," he exclaimed excitedly as he headed towards Jurion.

Jurion's black aura spread rapidly, covering the entire island like a dark shadow that threatened to envelop everyone.

However, Ares seemed immune to the intimidating display of power and continued walking towards Jurion with a defiant smile on his face.

Astonishment gripped everyone present, especially the youngsters, who noted with concern that they were finding it difficult to channel their powers.

Before Jurion's astonished eyes, Ares disappeared in the blink of an eye, bewildering everyone. The next instant, a powerful blow impacted Jurion's stomach, making him vomit blood and stagger from the impact.

Behind Jurion's body, a golden light emerged from nowhere, spreading rapidly and destroying everything in its path. The light was so dazzling and powerful that the ground shook under its influence.

Jurion stretched out one of his hands, pointing it determinedly at Ares.

A dark beam, swift and fearsome, burst from his fingers and projected with precision in the direction of his target.

Ares, with surprising agility, disappeared instantly, deftly dodging the attack.

The dark beam, missing its target, impacted violently against the ground, triggering an immense explosion that shook the foundations of the surrounding earth.

A deafening roar and waves of energy propagated from the epicenter of the crash.

Veramonte, Kayden, Kartein, Garrith and Han Seongik, kept their eyes fixed on the battle unfolding in front of them.

When Ares suddenly appeared behind Jurion and threw another punch.

Jurion did not hesitate with determination and bravery, he slammed his fist into Ares' fist, resulting in an impressive explosion that illuminated the battlefield with flashes of light and shadows.

Jurion felt his bones crunch under the pressure of the shock. A great pain swept through him, and for a moment surprise flashed through his thoughts. 'So strong is his blow'

Jurion saw Ares fade once again, but this time his reaction was insufficient to ward off the attack.

Unexpected, four brutal blows slammed into his vulnerable torso, each impacting with devastating force.

The sound of the blows echoed like thunder across the battlefield.

The pain was immeasurable, and the force of the attacks left Jurion breathless. A torrent of blood emerged from his mouth as his body was propelled backwards with a mammoth force. His figure became an uncontrolled projectile that obliterated everything in its path, shattering the earth and objects that stood in its way.

With his gaze fixed on Jurion, Veramonte perceived the state of his grandson and closed his eyes momentarily.

Jurion, his clothes in a terrible state and his eyes full of astonishment, kept his gaze fixed on Ares. Perplexity flashed across his face as he questioned himself internally. 'How can he be so strong? Our age is similar... he's a monster...'.

With unwavering determination, Jurion rose from the ground, albeit with difficulty due to his wounds. A new spark of bravery shone in his eyes as his mind cleared. 'I won't lose like this, now I understand why grandfather said I wasn't at his level, this strength is shocking, but... I won't give up'.

The black aura released from Jurion's body was impressive and terrifying. Like deep darkness, it seemed to envelop him in a blanket of shadows. Every time the intensity of the aura grew, the ground trembled under its power and the wind seemed to whisper in an eerie tone.

At Ares' surprisingly ecstatic smile, a luminous, hulking force began to emerge from his body.

Beams of brilliant light were released, and little by little, they took the shape of a dragon's head.

The island shook with a terrifying roar that echoed in every corner of the battlefield, announcing his arrival.

The eastern dragon fully materialized, exuding a divine and overwhelming presence. Its glowing eyes glared intently at Jurion, and its defiant roar echoed through the air.

Piercing Ares' body, the light dragon lunged towards Jurion with astonishing speed.

With his hand dripping blood, Jurion gathered all his strength and direction to direct the shadow towards Ares.

The scene that unfolded in front of those present was absolutely spectacular and awe-inspiring. A golden eastern dragon, luminous and majestic, broke through the darkness, advancing towards Jurion's shadow attack.

As the sword ascended majestically, the sun's rays broke through the shadow, illuminating the island.

The students and teachers of the KAA and WAA looked on in shock as the huge sword gave off a terrifying power.

Arthur, Jisuk, Subin, Duke and everyone else think in shock. 'This enormous power?'

With the same hand, Ares lowers it and following his gesture, the sword comes down towards Jurion.

Jurion stood his ground, showing no fear, even in the face of the shocking sight of the sword of light rising before him.

Concentrating all his strength, he launched a powerful attack in a last-ditch effort to defend himself.

However, the sword of light cut through the attack with overwhelming ease, piercing him without any hindrance and causing the earth to tremble under the magnitude of the impact.

Jurion watched in disbelief as the sword descended towards him. But unexpectedly, right in front of him, a figure materialized.

"Grandfather" muttered Jurion.

Veramonte smiles and looks at Jurion with eyes that convey his joy and says. "You did well, I congratulate you... you surprised me".

Jurion was astonished by his grandfather's words, observing how his grandfather generated a dark aura in his right hand, which hit the sword and pushed it down, making it impact against the floor of the island.

The impact was so powerful that, in the place where the sword hit, a great explosion was formed.

The island began to slowly split apart, until finally the seawater entered through the gap and separated it into two parts.

The dust dissipated, leaving an agonizing silence in the area. Everyone stared with eyes full of astonishment and shock at the island split in two. In the distance, they saw Veramonte unharmed and in perfect condition, standing on the edge of the island's division, with Jurion alive and safe behind him.

The spatial isolation disappeared, and the shattered island returned to normal.

Ares appears walking with his hands in his pockets, calmly approaching Kayden as everyone stares at him with their mouths open.

Jiwoo quickly runs over and asks worriedly. "Brother, how are you?"

Ares nonchalantly replies. "Fine, I'm not even touched" and then says with an annoyed face. "I thought with those techniques I would at least hurt Veramonte, but I didn't... he specifically created this technique to kill the top 10."

Garrith with his ugly face looks at Ares silently.

'He created it to kill those in the top 10... Is he crazy?" they thought.

Veramonte looks at Jurion and asks. "How are you?"

phoenix angrily says. "Let's fight, I will tear you apart."

Ares looks at Garrith and says. "Will you let them settle their issues between them?"

Garrith looks at phoenix and replies. "If they like, I have no problem."

Ares smiles and says. "Then let the second fight begin."
