[108] "First day of training"

[Two days later]

The day before, Jiwoo embarked on a tour that took him to explore the Illuminati headquarters. During this captivating journey, he was able to meet each of the members and a brief explanation of the buildings.

....

Jiwoo dressed in matching black pants and comfortable sneakers, and put on his matching T-shirt and a sweater of a similar color.

He paused for a moment to look out the huge window, then checked the time on his cell phone, whispering to himself. 'Today is my first day of training.'

Opening the door to his room, Jiwoo walked down the hallway to the elevator, where he pressed the button to head to floor 1. He rode the elevator down and out the front door of the building, where he spotted four young men chatting as if they were waiting for someone.

"You made it!" exclaimed Emily.

Jiwoo hurried toward them and apologized in an apologetic tone, "Sorry I'm late."

"No worries," Samantha commented, then added, "Can we get started?"

"Yes," Jiwoo said excitedly.

Samantha, James, Emily and Teresa smiled at his enthusiasm.

"Our training is divided into several parts, but first we're going to jog for half an hour around the facility while we work on our strength control," Samantha explained to Jiwoo.

"I understand," Jiwoo replied.

"Let's get started," Emily said with a smile as she started jogging.

James noticed this and looked annoyed. "Don't cheat, don't start first."

Samantha and Teresa quickly followed them.

Jiwoo smiled at the sight of them happy and cheerful, bickering as they sparred, creating a warm atmosphere. Using his powers, he caught up to them with a smile on his face.

[30 minutes later]

The five young men breathed heavily but not desperately, and stopped at the same place where they started.

"Now let's get some breakfast, we need to regain energy," Samantha said.

James and Teresa nodded as they heard Emily speak. "I'm hungry."

"Yeah, let's eat," Jiwoo said excitedly.

"Sure!" confirmed Emily enthusiastically, and they both quickly headed towards the food.

The other three quickly followed them.

They enjoyed a delicious meal and then each retired to their rooms to rest for half an hour before beginning the second part of the training.

....

[Jiwoo's room]

Jiwoo was surprised to find Silvia peacefully lying on his bed.

"You made it," Silvia commented casually.

"Silvia," Jiwoo said, his astonishment still reflected in his face and question. "What are you doing here?"

Silvia nodded and explained. "I'm staying with you for a while, I need someone to feed me and tend to this princess, I've been told of your amazing animal care skills."

Jiwoo nodded understandingly and replied. "I understand, but unfortunately I have nothing to offer you."

Silvia, undeterred, suggested. "Find something, ask Tina. She knows the network here well, tell her to get me delicious food."

Jiwoo nodded again, ready to help his unexpected visitor. Although the situation was unusual, his hospitality and concern for Silvia's welfare led him to accept the assignment without hesitation. Determined, he set off in search of Tina to ask for her help in obtaining the delicacies that Silvia desired.

[Training Building]

Jiwoo arrived and could only see Samantha standing with her arms crossed, waiting patiently.

"Where are the others?" asked Jiwoo as he approached her.

"They're already training," Samantha replied.

Jiwoo was surprised and asked in bewilderment. "Weren't we supposed to meet at 7:30?"

Samantha nodded and explained. "Yes, but they spend all day training. They eat, train, rest for a while, and train again."

"You'll get used to it soon enough," Samantha added casually.

"And why aren't you training?" questioned Jiwoo.

Samantha smiled proudly and replied. "Because I'm stronger than them, I always beat them up," letting a devilish grin peek out as she laughed, "JEJEJEJEJEJEJEJEJEJEJEJEJE..."

Jiwoo looked at her with his characteristic innocence, scratching his cheek in an awkward gesture.

"Cough... Cough..." coughed Samantha, returning to her usual calm self and said, "You've met my Mother, Lisa Snyder."

Jiwoo nodded and commented, "I had a little conversation with her yesterday."

"I am your guide, and I will take you to meet each of the areas where we train," Samantha continued.

Jiwoo nodded enthusiastically and replied. "So, what are we waiting for? Let's go."

Samantha nodded and they both entered the building, stepping into the elevator.

"On floor -1 is the combat arena, you can go there anytime," Samantha commented as she pressed the button for floor 2.

Stepping out of the elevator, Jiwoo found a room with two leather couches on either side and a large glass window dividing the room. In the space, several humanoid robots waited in different positions.

"This is the combat experience room. We can program the robots to be skilled in different fighting styles, but they are only enabled for hand-to-hand combat for now, they can't release powers yet. Tina is working on that with Harold," Samantha explained.

Jiwoo nodded in amazement and asked. "Can I try it?"

Samantha smiled and beckoned him inside.

Jiwoo approached the glass hesitantly, but just as he was about to touch it, it opened and Jiwoo stepped inside in amazement.

"The room works by voice, I'll set it to the lowest level," Samantha commented from outside and then continued aloud. "Start test level 1 with basic difficulty."

"Understood," a robotic voice replied and several robots in the room retreated, leaving only a few.

The dull eyes of the robots lit up with a blue light and one of them ran towards Jiwoo. Calmly, Jiwoo dodged the blow and countered with a soft punch that hit the robot.

The robot continued to attack twice more, but Jiwoo dodged them with a frown and counterattacked with greater power. However, the robot did not stop, prompting Jiwoo to increase his speed and strength, hitting the robot forcefully in the chest, finally stopping it.

"Ready, level 1 test passed," said the robotic voice.

Jiwoo was surprised to see the robot shut down and then looked at Samantha, who had entered the room.

"You surprised me, I didn't think you would defeat him so easily, not knowing the test," Samantha praised.

Jiwoo responded humbly. "No big deal, it was easy."

Samantha smiled and added. "Teresa, Emily and James couldn't pass the level on the first try, even though their fighting styles are not melee, they train their bodies very vigorously after failing to pass it."

Jiwoo was surprised at that revealing information and smiles happily.

"In all training rooms, a specific physical aspect is worked on. As you could notice in this room, the focus is on strength," Samantha commented.

"Let's move on to the next floor," Samantha suggested, excited to show him more of the training facilities.

On floor 3, Jiwoo entered the room dedicated to speed and reflex training. The room was precisely designed and featured different levels and degrees of difficulty. Multiple beams of red light shot in random directions, and Jiwoo's goal was to dodge them all. If one of those beams touched him, he would have to start over at that level.

Focused and alert, Jiwoo plunged into the challenging exercise. His agility and reflexes were put to the test as he deftly dodged the beams of red light flying in his direction. Each time he progressed through the levels, the difficulty increased, but Jiwoo was undeterred and persevered in his efforts to improve.

After a while, Jiwoo managed to successfully complete levels 1, 2, 3 and 4 of the speed and reflex training.

This shocked Samantha as she was only at level 3 and the others at level 2.

After a short break, they moved to floor 4, where the aiming and accuracy training room was located. Here, she had to aim and hit moving targets.

On floors 5, 6 and 7, there were soundproofed rooms, a space dedicated to quiet, focused practice of any technique he wished to improve. These rooms provided a perfect environment to immerse oneself in total concentration, without any auditory distractions from outside.

Samantha observed Jiwoo after providing a detailed introduction and guiding him through all the training rooms. "Now, we have individual training until 12:00, and you can use any room," she informed him politely.

"At 12:30 we meet in the dining room to enjoy a delicious lunch, and then we head to the game room for rest and fun. When you're done training, I recommend you go to your room and take a bath," Samantha added, making sure Jiwoo understood all the scheduled activities.

Jiwoo nodded gratefully and replied, "Thank you for being my guide and explaining everything to me."

"You're welcome, it was my pleasure. If you have any questions or need help, you'll find me on floor 7. Emily and Teresa are on floor 5, and James is on floor 6. For any needs, just ring the bell outside the room. Otherwise, even if you shout, no one will hear you," Samantha added with a smile.

Jiwoo bowed to express his thanks and said politely. "Thank you very much."

With a smile, Samantha said goodbye and left the place, heading to floor 6 to continue her own training.

After mulling over his options for a moment, Jiwoo decided to head to floor 3 to focus on training his reflexes and speed.

[4 hours later]

Jiwoo concluded his grueling workout, feeling sweat sliding down his forehead and fatigue in his muscles.

Heading to his room, he found Silvia still lying down. After a brief exchange of words, Jiwoo decided to take a relaxing shower to refresh himself after the arduous workout.

Once ready, he joined Samantha, James, Emily and Teresa in the dining room to enjoy a delicious lunch together.

After lunch, the group lively headed to the game room, where laughter and fun took over.

[3 hours later]

Jiwoo and the other four young men headed for the subway. There, they met Lisa, who would be their sparring partner for the day.

For several hours, Lisa engaged in single combat against each of them, exposing their faults and virtues so that they could improve.

[4 hours later]

With fatigue caressing his muscles, Jiwoo finally entered the room exhausted, he dropped into the soft comfort of his bed, granting himself a well-deserved break.

The fatigue gradually faded as he closed his eyes, giving him a brief but essential hour of rest.

Rising, he made his way over to where Kayden, Ares and Kartein lay.

Jiwoo unhesitatingly dove into his strength control training routine.

Kayden also helped him improve his fighting style.

[Two hours later]

Jiwoo returned to his room, feeling each step weighing on his fatigued muscles. His mind and body exhausted, he flopped down on the softness of his bed, falling asleep immediately.
