Shinji didn't even spend another second with the old man. After saying, "Bye, you persistent old man.", he quickly walked away and dialed Seongha's number.

"Shinji?" the adult answered.

"Yo, where are you guys at? I've been looking all over the island."

"What? You're here?!" the adult exclaimed.

"Yeah, yeah. Where are you guys at?"

Seongha replied, "West side of the island... Uhm, Shinji, why are-" but the raven-haired teen didn't give him time to say anything else. "That's great! I'll see ya there." the teen said, before hanging up.

'Let's hurry before the old man finds me again.'

Arriving at their location, he could see Subin, Wooin, and Jisuk.

"There you guys are!" the raven-haired teen exclaimed.

"Oppa?"

"You bastard, you're here?!" Jisuk shouted, pointing at Shinji.

Shinji approached them with a mocking grin, "Yep! Did you miss me?"

"Huh?!"

"Why are you here, Oppa?" Subin asked him after shutting Jisuk up with a slap.

Shinji told her that he was here to pick her up. But what she said afterward broke his heart,

"Alright, but I'd rather go on the Union boat with all these idiots."

He froze before sighing in defeat, "Fine, I guess what Gramps said was true. There will come a time when you'll find someone you'll love more than your big brothe-" Before he even finished his sentence, Subin kicked him in the shin.

"Stop spouting bullsh*t, you moron."

The other students from Shinhwa just looked at their interaction, full of confusion.

...

They talked, well more like bantered with each other, and after a couple of minutes, Jiwoo arrived, a fat orange cat in his arms. The teen looked extremely happy, unlike earlier when he was teary-eyed.

The cat that Jiwoo was carrying broke free from him and approached Shinji. The light-cream-haired teen looked on with a nervous smile, but the others continued to talk to him, not noticing anything weird.

Seeing Casein Nitrate approach him, Shinji told the group, "Since my little sister now hates me, I'll just go on my way."

"Huh?" Jiwoo voiced out, worry etched on his face since he believed what Shinji said.

"Just ignore the overdramatic bastard," Subin told the others.

The raven-haired teen then turned his attention to the cat. "Aww, does the cute fat cat want to keep me company?" he said jeeringly.

Seeing Jiwoo nervous when Casein Nitrate approached Shinji, made the raven-haired conclude that the cat wanted some alone time with him.

"Don't worry Jiwoo, I'll return this fatty to you later," he said with a smile, picking up the cat as it gained a furious expression.

...

Shinji took Casein Nitrate back to his speedboat. He started it, but the cat was still silent, only staring at the teen.

"You know, for someone that's hated by almost all Organizations, you're pretty careless about your identity," Shinji said, breaking the awkward silence.

"How did you know?" the cat finally spoke in a calm yet dangerous tone.

The teen looked in the direction the speedboat was going, saying, "What are you talking about?"

"Don't play with me, brat. The Klein Brothers incident."

"Jeez, don't have to be so cranky, grandpa. I had a hunch, alright?" Shinji answered with a small snicker.

The cat started seating comfortably, it looked as if it was a gangster in its past life. "What do you mean by hunch?"

He sighed, replying, "By how chaotic the situation was, why the hell would a cat look so calm? If you were a true cat, you would have at the very least, started walking away from us. But instead of doing that, you stayed and looked at the fight stress-free."

The orange cat stayed silent, most probably contemplating what the teen said.

"Even when you rushed to that kid Jiwoo's location, I only ever thought you were an Awakened Cat that had some sort of intelligence. But then I felt a strong surge of energy coming from their direction. Plus, the other Klein idiot was almost burnt alive by lightning. Who else was capable of releasing energy that strong, and had an Electric Ability?"

"Did you tell anybody?" Kayden sighed, accepting the kid's reasonings.

The teen looked at him with an over-exaggerated appalled expression, "Are you kidding me? That would just be me accepting my death. Also, that would be really tiring since I'd most definitely be part of the Search Party looking for you, what with me being the grandson of the Chairman and all."

"Good. I won't cause any problems for you if you don't tell anyone. But if you do..."

"Yeah, yeah you'll kill me." he said, waving his hand, before continuing, "Why did you become a cat anyway?"

"I'm not gonna tell you, kid." the adult in a cat's body replied.

The teen then looked at him questioningly, "It's not your kink... is it?"

"What the hell did you just say?" Kayden spoke, standing up.

"I mean, if it is, I'm not going to kink-shame you... It is pretty weird though..." Shinji added.

"It's not! Just shut your mouth, you brat." the cat said angrily.
