[Side Story: Hate Group]

{Point in time: 2nd Year}
Nathan Filips was a boy who once wanted to dominate the strongest people in his grade...
But, after an eye-opening spar with a certain raven-haired student, he threw that goal, and instead focused on getting stronger.
'My attacks are slow... I need to do something to make it faster...' thought the boy, as he walked towards the Training Grounds.
...
The sun shone brilliantly in the clear, blue sky, bathing the Training Grounds with its warm light.
...
The boy raises his hand and summons a glass shard, launching it towards one of the dummies. Once it made contact with the dummy, it shattered into pieces.
'It's still slow... But...'
Nathan summons yet another shard, but this time, he makes it thinner.
He launches it once again, this time, faster than the last.
"I knew it..." he voices out with a content smile.
...
The boy practices this move repeatedly for almost an hour...
*Clap Clap Clap*
"That's really impressive." said someone unknown to the boy.
"Huh?" voices out Nathan as he turns around.
There, he saw a fierce-looking boy, who was smiling. Alongside him, were a girl and two other boys.
"Who are you?" asked Nathan.
"Hi! I'm Samael. These are Oscar, Tim, and Hana." replied the student with a friendly look.
"What do you guys want?" sighed Nathan.

{Nathan POV}
"Oh... nothing... But, we heard that... you were also humiliated by one of the hooligans from "The Six"." he said with visible contempt.
Hm? How did they know about that?...
"And?" I tell him.
"I- No, WE are forming a group, and we'd like you to be in it."
"What is this? Some sort of Hate Group? Weirdos. I don't want to take part in your group." I tell them, getting ready to get back to my training.
"Please, just think about it." the leader says.
The other boy chimed in, "Yeah! We'll give those thugs a taste of their own medicine!"
Idiots. They don't know how strong those guys are. They're just going to get themselves killed...
I... I made that mistake at the start of the School Year...
Tch.
I don't want to be associated with them... I just saw 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘨𝘶𝘺 throw away a bloodied rag for God's sake!
...
{General POV}
The group of students finally leaves Nathan alone, and once they are out of earshot, one of the boys asks...
"S-Sam, do you think h-he will join us?"
"Yes. I'm sure of it, Tim," replied Samael.
...
After a few moments, the girl finally talks,
"Hey, why are you creating this group anyway? You're a transferee, right? What'd they do to you?"
"I will tell you all later..."
...
{Samael POV}
They haven't done anything to me... But... That guy... That student... He humiliated my older brother in front of his peers.
These fools call him "The Forest Sage", and he... he dared embarrass my older brother, a Senior, in front of all to see!!!
[A/N: He's referencing the Nameless Senior from Chapter 21...]
He... He will be our first target. I will make him pay for what he did...
But first, we still need more supporters. I'm sure more have garnered grudges towards the Four Hooligans.
Duke Greyne and Asher Brian may be part of "The Six" but, they are not hooligans... Their families are strong and respectable. And, I am sure that if we were to fight the both of them... We would face terrible retribution...
That's why we're only targetting the "Cryomaniac", "The Giant", "The Berserker", and "Forest Sage"...
...
A few minutes later...
Phew, I managed to find another one who had a grudge against "The Six".
If we were to continue at this pace, we can start attacking one of the hooligans next week.

{General POV}
The "Hate Group" continued to recruit more students, and their count has risen to almost 30 students.
And so...
On one Friday Afternoon...
"So, Cassy got called to the Armstrongs?" asked Shinji.
Thorne answers, "Yep. Said they were going to do some exercises with the group."
"Alright. Hey, just a sec. I need to piss." said Shinji, as he split up from Thorne and headed towards a bathroom.
"Yeah, yeah. Alright. I'll be in your room!"
...
Thorne continued to walk towards the building when suddenly, someone shouted,
"GO!"
Just over a dozen students circled around Thorne, all with furious faces.
"Huh?"
"You... You humiliated us... Now, it's time for you to experience it too!" shouted someone from the circle of students.
"Sigh. So that's how it is..." said Thorne, scratching his head.
"YEA-"
"Friggin' idiots," he mutters as he points to the sky, and roots sprout from the ground, wrapping all of the students with ease.
"EH!?"
Thorne then directs his finger to the ground. The roots tighten, and they start pulling the students slightly underground.
"Alright. Seeing your headband with the word "Vengeance" on it, I assume you're the leader?" asked Thorne as he approached a certain blonde-haired boy.
"You cretin! Get me out of here, no-" shouted Samael, but was interrupted by a slap to his face.
"Y-you-" the blonde-haired boy tried to speak but was once again slapped.
"What was that?" asked Thorne with a smile.
"I sai-" replied Samael angrily, but, another slap was heard.
"Alright, listen here idiots..."

A few minutes later...
"Damn! What happened here?" asked Shinji once he saw students trapped in trees.
"Pfft. Nothing. Just some dum-dums who thought highly of themselves." replied Thorne with a snicker.
"You know you're going to get detention for using your Ability near the buildings, right?" reminded Shinji with a grin.
"Oh, RIGHT! I forgot about that! Damn!"
"Welp, nothing you can do about it now. They can still know if anyone used their Abilities, even if you cleaned up here... Speaking from experience..." told Shinji as he scratched his chin.

Decided to label this as a [Side Story] since Shinji wasn't the focus of the chapter...
Also, I don't know if I should have a time skip straight to canon or not...
