10 Moving On to the Next Bit of Fun

After the war ended, the months that followed were full of discussion. The UN condemned the war. Although the citizenry have been living better ever since. They did decide to do a democratic monarchy, where they elect their monarch.

The Divine Isle helped the new government until they were self-sufficient, then all forces were called back. There was footage of the war, which was spread all over the internet.

Seeing a flaming knight shrug off bullets before cutting a building in half left an impression on people. Even the regular soldiers were destroying walls and poking holes in armored vehicles. Seeing the dragons treat modern fighter aircraft as winged jokes was more demoralizing. The strongest governments of the world that were once just wary, are now slightly panicked.

Their current military technology cannot close the gap. The mages became a terrifying existence to the governments too. They fought like gods. Wiping people away with a flick of a finger. Killing someone with a gaze. Protecting themselves with their eyes closed.

The UN had to condemn the war to save face, but the individual countries themselves were quiet.

The Divine Isle now has everyone's attention, fear and respect.

The Justice League main members were discussing the war in their Watchtower base too.

Batman was questioning both Constantine and Zatara about the mages, magic and dragons.

Zatara could not answer much as the magic was vastly different. Constantine had nothing of use besides saying that the dragons are different from any he knows.

Some league members wanted to stop the war. However, war between two sovereign nations is not their jurisdiction. So they could only grit their teeth.

[Ellorsseax POV]

"Oh well, the entertainment is over and watching the reactions is getting stale.", I said to myself in boredom.

I notice Ranni materialize in front of me. She smiles, "Hello Husband. I see that you are bored again."

I smile back, "Hello my Queen. I take it your magical journey was good?"

Ranni nods, "Yes, this planet has an interesting history of magic. There is even a sub-species of human that are born with magic in their veins. The history of Earth is interesting as well. Many things have happened. Many machinations carried out. Gods, demons, aliens, heroes, villains, and more. This planet is so chaotic beneath the veil of normancy."

"I'm happy you have found some fun here." I say genuinely.

"Yes, I have found fun. I also wanted to let you know of another opportunity to have fun. their is a chaos lord here on Earth. Although weak for people of our level, he should make for a fine punching bag.", Ranni tells me.

I expand my vision to find the young justice team. They are just now being given the mission to find Doctor Fate.

I thank her, "Thank you for bringing this to my attention Ranni. I'll go have my fun now. Let's do something together after I thrash the chaos lord. How about visit to Mars? They have magic there too and a unique culture?"

"I love the Idea. I have yet to go to Mars too. We will go when you are done then.", Ranni agrees.

I then take two hands and kiss them softly, "It is a date then my Queen. I'll be back."

I then unfurl my draconic wings and cast Unseen Form. I take to the sky and shoot to the location of the Tower of Fate.

I wait a bit in the general area until I see the young Justice team arrive. They fumble for a bit before finding the way into the tower. The chaos lord, who is Klarion as I expected, makes his move. He enters the tower with the charlatan, Abracadabra.

I want this part of the story to progress. So when the helmet of fate unadorned, I can gift it to my wife. I'm sure she'll have some fun experimenting with it. Not like poor, tragic Nabu could do anything.

I'll have to interfere a bit on the fight at the top of the tower so Klarion doesn't run away. I can see inside the tower, just takes some effort. So I watching the team progress. Wally really is down bad for no reason. The guy needs to get his shit together.

The team encounters Klarion and a battle ensues. I get ready to swoop in and wallop on Klarion before he can escape.

Klarion realizes that Fate is going after the cat and panicks. That is when I swoop down and grab the cat. Flying it away.

Klarion is stunned and gives chases, forgetting about Doctor Fate.

I stop and land far away from any mortals in a forest.

Klarion yells at me, "Give me back my kitty! Cat thief!"

I get close to Klarion, I give him the cat. Then I sock him in the jaw. He flies through some trees.

I laugh, "Come on Klarion, let me have some fun. You may be on weaker side when it comes to chaos lords, but you will do."

Klarion rises from his dirt pit and growls, "I'll play music with your ribcage!"

I then decide to be a tiny bit generic and bring out Moonveil. I shout back, "I am going to spam attack you until I give you crippling depression.

Klarion is confused as I sport a shit-eating grin. I then unsheathe Moonveil, and sheathe it again. Repeating the action as fast as I can to send a torrent of moonlight blades at Klarion.

Klarion puts up a shield seeing the incoming magic blades. The shield is shattered and he is shred into pieces.

Klarion reforms and is shred into pieces by moonveil spamming. All the while I am cackling, "This is even more broken IRL, haha!"

I spam attack Klarion for about an hour. From the millisecond I get to read his face, the poor cat lover is actually getting depressed. I finally stop and Klarion throws up his hands in happiness.

"Yes, I'm not seeing white-silver light anymore!", He exclaims. He then point to me, "You! Why would subject me to such a terrible thing! I trried everything to resist. Yet you just kept sheathing and unsheathing your swords like a maniac! I am LEAVING! I don't ever want to see you again!" He then glances at my sword, "And that goes for that stupid sword!"

Klarion then disappears.

I sigh, "well, that was fun enough to pass the time. Now to wait until the young justice team makes an interesting situation. Or I can make another one myself, just like with Bialya. I'll go with option two. Time to stir up trouble...

on Mars."

First to pick up that helmet.

I teleport into Wally's Mount Justice room and snatch the helmet.

I mutter to myself, "This will certainly make a good date gift for Ranni. So glad I thought to do this."

Then I'm gone like the wind.
