Cupid's Arrow

I couldn't believe it has been a year already since I came to this Mafia World. I went through both hell and heaven some times. I couldn't even remember what life was like before this.

Why was I gonna take revenge again? Oh right. For everything they have done to me. But the wounds have healed and they treat me better. They even threw me a birthday party!

However, they tortured my brother too and well killed my adopted mom! Also my biological mother but now.. What was I seeing? My biological mother was standing in front of me, holding a cake.

Am I hallucinating? Is this a prank or is it the reality? I was frozen on the spot as I was shocked. A dead ass silence spread through every corner in the hotel.

The other four looked hypnotized while I was in shock. For a moment I was hypnotized too. She came closer. Now we were only a few feet apart.

"Blow the candles, darling." She said, moving her eyes toward the big golden colour candles on the cake.

Her voice rang inside my ears. I imedietly obeyed her and blew the candles. The lights came back and there was a big crowd. Everyone, including Ezra, Elijah, Alex and Jay started clapping and cheering.

"Are you my mother?" I blurted out without thinking and she started laughing. Then she spoke, "No babe, come with me, you gotta get ready. You dress looks dirty. Did you fell on a muddy field?"

She giggled. I realised that she couldn't be my mom at all since she looked my age.

'Why does she have to be so pretty though.. it's unfair. I'm pretty as well but like she looks a lot like my mom. And my mom was preeeettyyyy.'

I felt jealous instantly. The way she giggled and the dimples that appeared on her face when she did, and her saintly voice that could hypnotized even a drunk elephant.. I guess, this must be love at first sight.

'Wtf am I even thinking! I'm not even gay! or.. am I? Nah I'm bie... ahhh I dunno!'

I was literally lost in my thoughts while the girl held my hand and took me to a humungous rest room. Her hand.. it was so soft.

Her skin was the smoothest, and the colour of her skin was everything. I pouted out of frustration and jealousy towards the girl.

"Why you pouting? Give me that bag. Oh is this that black gown? Nice!"

She then handed me the dress and I gave her a confused look.

"Wear the gown, silly."

"Um..Is there like a washroom, here?"

"For wh- oh you wana pee? There's a small toilet there-"

"No, not pe.e.."

"Ohh then poop? Don't be shy honey, just go in there."

'Someone fuck this bitch.'

"Dude I just wanna change into this dress."

"Do it already. Don't tell me you're feeling shy."

"No it's just that, you know.. man this generation is so weird. I don't know whether you're straight or...."

"Darling I'm not gay and I'm your half sister anyways."

'Gosh, how many half siblings do I have??'

"Just change quickly love, I'll close my eyes."

"No no, it's okay. I'll just turn around."

I turned around and changed into the dress quickly. I was blaming myself angrily while changing. 'First asked her if she was my mom and then whether she was gay! Agh lord wtf is wrong with meeeeh!'

"Done?"

"Yeah."

She then put some makeup and jewelries on me. After like 15 minutes, we went down stairs to find the hotel filled with many sweets, a veryyy big birthday cake and music!

There was a DJ guy. "It's so loud. They didn't wait to start the party till I come?"

"But you already started the party when you blew the candles. By the way, my name's Angel Samuel. You're Eirene, right sweety?"

"Yeah. Your name matches you perfectly."

"Why thank you! There's Alex and others! Let's go there."

She held my hand again and we swept through the big crowd that was dancing wildly. When we both stood near them. Their mouths dropped to the floor.

I felt like everyone's eyes were on us. They kept looking at me and Angel.

"Oh my goodness! You guys look like a couple out from the heaven!"

We heard a random voice of a girl and I saw that it made Angel blush and she giggled.

I looked at Ezra and she didn't seem to be enjoying the view. While on the other hand, Elijah looked amused. Like he was so lost and drowning in my beauty.

His gaze made my heart skip a beat. The so called skipping heart beats. I felt it. I literally did.

Suddenly Elijah who is a silent character when there's other people around, started blabbering nonstop.

"A cupid's arrow has just hit me. I've never experienced a cupid arrow before. It's like how.. when there's a water cup full of water and it isn't moving at all, the water is very still, but when you drop a single water drop to the cup, it spreads and circles start roaming, just like that, I felt it. The arrow is the single water drop while the water cup is my heart. I felt the spreading, roaming feeling in my heart. My heart... finally got hit by a cupid's arrow-"

"Shut the fuck up dude. You sound like those kids who believe in fairytales. Literal fuck. huh! Stop. And you both. Eirene is my girl. Angel, you better stay away from her, okay?"

"Chill, Ezzy! She's my half sister! Jeezes! Control your temper, hon."

"Hold on." Everyone turned to me when I started speaking. "Who told you that I'm your girl?"

Ezra's shine in her eyes suddenly faded away and it made me feel guilty, instantly.

"Don't look so upset, just.. don't call me your girl, when I'm not, Ezra."

"But you'll be, one day."

Her voice sounded like she was challenging.

"Over my dead body bitch." Elijah got in between us and they almost broke into a fight if it wasn't for Angel and her angelic voice. Her hypnotizing voice makes anyone obey her.

"It's Eirene's birthday. Please don't act like kids. You've grown up now. Be mature dudes!"

"Fine." Ezra added and walked away with a champagne glass in her hand.

Elijah looked super annoyed and just when I thought he was gonna go away too, he threw the champagne glass that was in his hand, towards Ezra.

As in movies where a scene like this shots in slow motion, I saw the glass flying in the air and then hit Ezra right on the back of her head and it shattered into peices, drenching Ezra in champagne.

Just then Ezra stopped in her tracks and turned to Elijah, ferociously. The look on her face made me froze right there on the spot. She appeared like a raging bull.
