Abryi's Fate

I was escorted down a long corridor. Everything inside Ashe'gard was red also. The guards took me to an alcove with a large door. It was very tall and wide, made of some kind of metal. I was led through a smaller door cut into the larger one and was greeted with a very large trolley colored orange and black.

The guards led me up to the trolley and Commander Dhel pointed into it and only said one thing. "In."

I immediately followed his order. I wanted no resistance. No trouble. Kaddyr and Lillith were oddly quiet inside my head.

Once I was in the trolley, eight guards followed me in along with the commander. Two other guards entered the front of the trolley. I could hear hissing and groaning. The door opened slowly and allowed the trolley through. We moved in silence, for about an hour or so, until we reached an elaborately decorated door with Amalyan markings on it.

A hospital? Kaddyr questioned. No. No. That makes sense.

The guard ordered me out of the vehicle and then escorted me into the hospital. There rows of sick patients lay in their beds. At the back of the hospital was an ornate door. We didn't pause, we went right through to the room within.

"This is the Imperial Ward. It is usually used for critical patients." Commander Dhel stated, very monotone.

From the layout of the room, I could see various beds and machines. In the very back of the room, lay motionless with various monitors attached was Abryi, Harvey, and Thoren. Hina sat next to Abryi, very solemn and quiet.

I ambled over to her, quietly, erasing all sound. I didn't want to startle those that lay in the bed. I knew what I had to do.

"Come to finish the job?" Hina said once I had reached within a few feet of her.

"You know, you Sung'mallyans always surprise me." I said in retort. I continued to get closer to Abryi. I could feel Hina get on edge. Her hand went to something by her side. "Don't worry, I am myself, Hina. I haven't come to do any harm to Abryi."

 Stamina reserves: Forty-one percent.

I closed my eyes for a brief moment. Unholy regeneration. When I opened them again, black ash began to swirl around me and float over to the Abryi and the rest. I could feel their vitals return as the ash penetrated their wounds and stitched them closed.

"What are you doing to them?" Hina asked with shock evidently at the forefront of her voice.

"Trying to return them to what they once were." I said.

As I tried to heal them, the alarms began to sound once more. I continued to do what I could as I heard the announcement over the loudspeaker. I couldn't stay here.

He's here. I have to stop him before more damage is done to Ashe'gard. If I cannot, this city is doomed like Eh'zanko. I cannot have that.

What does Yog want with you? Kaddyr asked.

Not sure. But, I cannot allow him to cause destruction to get at me.

"Hina, I am going to go intervene." I remarked suddenly. "I will attempt to heal them from where there." And then, I was gone.
