1 Cleopatra.

My name is Cleopatra and I am 23 years old. I was born and raised in Cairo, the capital city of Egypt. I finished my bachelor degree in Medicine and now I am specialized as a heart surgeon. My grandmother died of a heart disease so I studied medicine to become a heart surgeon, to save people like my grandmother.

Cleopatra means she who brings glory to the father. I am so proud of being an Egyptian and I love Egypt especially Cairo.

Cairo, Egypt's sprawling capital, is set on the Nile river. At it's heart is Tahrir Square and the Vast Egyptian Museum a trove of antiquities including Royal mummies and gilded King Tuntakhamum artefacts. Cairo

is one of the largest cities in Africa, the largest in Middle East and the Arab world.

I live near the Tahrir Square. My father, Mr Abayomi (bringer of happiness) is the richest business man who owns a telecom company worth $3.6 billion. Everyone in Cairo respect him. He is a very powerful man and always stick to his promises.

Kamilah (Perfection) Abayomi is my mother. She is perfect just like her name. She is the kind of a woman who would do anything for her family. She is strong, patient and ambitious. In other words she is a woman of steel.

Ever since I was a child, I always wished to visit Paris one day and explore the beauty of the country. I wanted to visit the Eiffel Tower, Hotel Agora that has Deluxe rooms, Louvre Museum and the famous Musèe d' Orsay that was recently constructed by a famous architect.

When I was done with my University my father asked me what I wanted to do. I told him I wanted to visit Paris first before starting to pursue my career as a Surgeon.

Since my father is a man of his word, he granted me my wish to visit Paris as long as I wanted.

I was excited to go to this trip but I was worried at the same time. What will happen to me? Will I be happy? Will I be able to see all the places I want to visit? They say Paris is a city of love. Will I find love there?

That night I didn't sleep. I kept packing and unpacking until I was able to get all the things I wanted to go with them. Being a medical student isn't easy. After those five years of studying hard now I really need this trip. I have a feeling this trip will help me find myself and maybe my purpose in life.

"Honey you're still awake. Your flight leaves early tomorrow morning." My mother said to me as she entered my room. I closed the last bag and threw myself in bed. "I am done packing. I can't wait for tomorrow." I told my mother excitedly. She smiled at me and said "I hope you enjoy your trip baby. Have a good night sweetie." She told me that and left my room. I couldn't sleep. I kept tossing and tossing around until in the morning. I got up quickly, took a shower and went downstairs.

"Morning darling." My father greeted me as he sipped coffee from his cup. "Morning dad. How are you this morning?" I asked him. He looked at me and said "I am sad because my daughter is leaving. She just got home and now she is leaving again." I went closer to him and said "Father, it's only a month then I will be back home." He gave me a weak smile and took his newspaper. Maira had prepared for me breakfast. I ate then our chauffeur took me to the airport. Before I left I went to my mother's room. I found her praying. I waited until she finished then I cleared my throat. She looked at me and said "Ooh baby you're here." She came close to me and pulled me into a hug. "I am gonna miss you. Have a safe flight and enjoy your time in Paris. Remember we only live once." She said that and ended the hug. I left quickly before she starts crying.

The chauffeur drove me to Cairo International Airport and I boarded my flight to Paris.
