The first thing I felt after regaining consciousness was the throbbing pain in my head. It felt as if my head had just been stabbed by a blunt knife, like being hit by a boulder repeatedly. I reflexively let out a groan because I couldn't withstand this agonizing pain. My whole body trembled, and I feel damp because of the cold sweat that dripped from my body. My throat is also extremely dry. I can't gulp properly. But once I did, It's painful.

Am I going to die?

Wait a minute— where even am I? Why I can't remember when was the last time I fell asleep? It feels like I haven't wake up in a long time. Another painful pound on the head forced me to open my eyes.

"Y-Young Master! Young Master is awake!"

An unfamiliar voice that sounded aghast echoed, followed by footsteps that make my ears ring. What's with all the commotion? can't they see I'm in pain here? keep it the 𝘧𝘶𝘤𝘬 down.

Another groan in agony escaped my dry lips, followed with a gruff cough.

"My son!"

"Brahms!"

Why is everyone so loud? and who is Brahms? Why does the name sound so familiar? But I'm very sure that the name 'Brahms' is not my name. My name is— uh, what's my name? My heart beats really fast when I realize that I don't remember who I am, where I come from, who my parents are.

Or am I actually Brahms?

I blink. Everything is so hazy, the room slightly spins as I try to glance around me.

There are some people around me, that's for sure. I tried to move my hand to feel the mattress that I lay on. The sheets are very soft, like feathers. Everything looks white, am I in the hospital? oh, no, not white, more like a beige. Gradually my eyes became clearer and I could see the faces of everyone who looked at me anxiously.

A beautiful lady with long and curly silver hair grabs my sweaty hand with her warm ones, letting out tears from her pretty sapphire eyes.

"My son, you're finally awake. Oh, how sad I am to see you laying on this bed for days. Every day I always pray, every minute I cry," her grip on my hand got a lot tighter, letting her tears wet my hand. She kisses my knuckles, then put my knuckles on her forehead.

A tall and handsome brown-haired man beside the crying lady seemed to be holding his tears. His dark brown eyes are red and glisten. He sniffled, then smile broadly to me.

"I'm relieved, son,"

He gave me a gentle stroke on my hair. Several maids and butlers inside the room who's watching me also looked very ecstatic. But not the one behind the man who's gently ruffling my hair. There's a girl— maybe around fifteen years old, she's very beautiful. Especially since she's wearing that yellow frilly dress. Long curly brunette hair that reminds me of the other man's hair, her eyes resembles the lady who's crying but somewhat a lot darker. Her facial expression is dark, glaring down at me as if I'm some sort of disgusting bug. But her expression changed immediately and gets to the crying lady's side.

"Oh, my brother! you have no idea how worried I was!" wow, what great acting. Even a prancing monkey can tell she's bluffing.

What the hell is going on here? who are these people?

"Ukh—" I let out a cough again.

"Bring me a glass of warm water, quickly!" the man quickly ordered one of the servants inside the room. Two of them left the room in a hurry.

"It'll be alright love," the lady tried to comfort me with gentle pats on my knuckles. Tears won't stop rolling down to her rosy cheeks.

My head throbbed again. Swiftly, I remember some of their names. Fragments of memory began to occur in my mind. It feels like a computer that just started after being restarted. But I know that this is not my memory. This is the memory of 'Brahms'.

Then what about me? why can't I remember who I am?
